Nowadays, we are used to using platforms that catch the eye as soon as you log in. Thanks to the free version, we were able to easily adapt to this system since we were able to test all its functions, and at the end of time, we could invest in acquiring this program. This system also has a system of notification of tasks for each team member, where it warns what needs to be done, and the progress of it, also for me it is vital the administration tasks for my team. I like this system because I can visualize the list of things to do and thus establish the order of priorities in order to have a very fluid system. I like very much how I can put everything down, every single thing that I have to do or develop and be constantly aware of all the tasks I need to finish. As I can visualize the list, I can priorize and have a workflow very fluid. It almost feel like a friend kindly reminded you what you need to do. I can schedule any event and don't miss a single thing because this software keeps me updated always. I can see the results of the organization IDoneThis has put in my life. I really appreciate the e-mail that it's send by the end of the day asking you how productive were you respect to your tasks, I think is a great way to see the improvement and how much you do on the day. **What do you dislike about iDoneThis?** Nothing I dislike, seriously, it's simple but I don't see why it needs to be complicated. **Recommendations to others considering iDoneThis:** I would recommend IDoneThis just because everyone that has a lot to take care of needs someone or something that helps them to be organize and not to be overwhelm of work, and IDoneThis is the best way you can progress in your work, tasks and projects one by one. **What problems is iDoneThis solving and how is that benefiting you?** I am a forgetful person and when working in a company there are things that can be overlooked as others are given priority. I felt that I worked very hard but never finished, there was always something to do and it was exhausting, something like a vicious circle. When involving IDoneThis in my work and personal life, as well as in the company, I and the poeple who started using them saw how effective it was. I realized that the organization is essential in a company and that I would never finish doing work because I did not put everything in order. So IDoneThis has benefited me and my company, as we work with food delivery, we are now more puntual and more organize, the distribution of the orders are a lot more in order, so nobody miss their meal. Nothing is left out, everything is calculated and scheduled in exact time, it gives us much more peace of mind when developing new projects and we are much more responsable and organized, teamwork is not a problem anymore and we all have more free time. ### 6. Why? Because IDoneThis is a great way to write down what you need to do, what you did, and what you are going to do...Past, Present, Future right there. It also shows you just how much time you have been wasting on projects. I found that I not only use it for business but also my personal life. I am in the process of writing a book, FWD to 50. This software helps me to remember those events by simple hashtags. IDoneThis also allows me to search that hashtag for all of the dates concerning it. My schedule has literally been cleared to free up what is most important in life. I see exactly where I am putting my effort everyday. While ideally it is used to track personal progress, you can use it successfully for my team as well. An additional favorite is that the pricing is just right. Most all software I use, it is on a month to month because honestly, new software is developing all the time. Not IDoneThis. I bought this software for the entire year. I immediately saw its value. I found IDoneThis in an article Walter Chen, the founder, had written about why he developed it. It peaked my interests. Interest satisfied. It also emails you at the end of the day like...What did you get done today? Super cool. You can just hit reply to that email and you are right in logging. One final note: Zapier integration available. **What do you dislike about iDoneThis?** The only thing I dislike about IDoneThis is the surprising fact that less than 200k people know about it. That means, according to Statisticbrain.com, that of the 400k of CEOs as well as 1.7 million General and Operations Managers, a very small amount even use this game changer! **Recommendations to others considering iDoneThis:** I believe in this software 100%. It has been very valuable to me and my company. It has given me a realistic view of what is working and what is not. **What problems is iDoneThis solving and how is that benefiting you?** I have ceased wasting my time on projects that are not productive. It really help you to improve your work and makes it more efficient, it really worths it! **What problems is iDoneThis solving and how is that benefiting you?** There is a lot of benefits that IDoneThis has brough to us, as a company who works with products, we constantly need to be working with all of them and doing a lot of specific tasks for each. Because of that sometimes we have A LOT of things and work to make, that we forget to do some of them and in consequence sometimes we don't reach our goals with a product. So when we incorporate this software, it literally improve our performance, here we can manage a lot of products at the same time so we can dedicate time and effort to each one in specific what allows us to develop them in time. And also allow us to keep aware on what is the team doing and allow them to work with products individually without any problem, we can also track our own progress, as well as everyone elses. ### 8. The standout feature is the activity monitor, which is fabulous to help us know the status of our research animals by watching who is entering information. The capacity to hook up with Slack is great, helps to have the tasks/chats side by side when we're organizing our experiments and can chat about the details. I love the calendar functionality as well for the same reason: planning experiments is often messy and while we used to use Google Calendar, it's nice to have it in the same platform. **What do you dislike about iDoneThis?** Feels a bit bare bones sometimes. The simiplicity of the UI was somewhat frustrating, personally I find it hard to find the individual settings for each team and make changes. **What problems is iDoneThis solving and how is that benefiting you?** We have hundreds of laboratory animals that need to be managed by several researchers who are on completely different schedules. This interface was the nicest way to synchronize our experiments/workspace so we can work in a coordinated manner ### 9. Workflow as light as possible - reply to daily emails with the tasks you do every day, one per line. (This is very important, because my experience so far is that the lighter the workflow, the more likely it is to become a habit. This application is useless unless used every day. With a full-featured task tracking application, it seems more difficult for people to make it a habit.) 2. Integrated with Zapier. So, for example, my Trello board automatically turns off 'done' when a card is archived with the comment 'Done'. 3. The web interface is very helpful when you need it. 4. You can also add "dones" one by one via email, if you want. **What do you dislike about iDoneThis?** The previous version was a bit so-so, but so far the wrinkles seem to be ironed out in 2.0. **Recommendations to others considering iDoneThis:** If considering a team task tracking application with more features but a larger workflow, just remember that simpler, you can keep it more likely that people will use it as a habit. **What problems is iDoneThis solving and how is that benefiting you?** Clearly, when working on a large project, it helps to break everything down into small, manageable tasks. By having daily accountability, it is much easier to keep track of realistic progress. It is little more than a glorified To-Do list. But it does that one thing really, really well. This little app fits me perfectly. I track everything I have done, and it helps me to realize I am getting a lot more done than I realized. Beyond that, it also doubles as a "to be done" list.
