What do you like best about HTML-Kit?

HTML-Kit is lightweight and allows me to add or remove extensions depending on the project I will develop. This software stands out in color schemes for text syntax. The other feature that catches my attention is the user interface is its themes with elegant colors. I also like that suggestions appear when you start writing some code. What do you dislike about HTML-Kit?

On some occasions, when using several add-ons simultaneously, HTML-Kit may close without notice. However, the software has automatic saving so you will not lose what you have advanced. It does not seem to be a problem in itself of the program, I think it has to do with Windows. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering HTML-Kit:

This editor is in my opinion one of the lightest and with the best extensions. It has excellent text highlighting functions and suggestions. It also has a support debugger that helps program easier. I recommend it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

In my work I must develop integrated software in design and coding phases, so HTML-Kit allows me to carry out developments, tasks, tests, debugging with its functions and extensions that make it an ideal tool, which benefits us greatly to the have all the features in a single application. We have been evaluating HTML-Kit in its trial version to acquire it and we like it because it has support for all words in HTML5, has different themes to customize and receives updates frequently. This tool has been been fundamental in the migration of our website that was based on Flash and we have changed it to HTML. What do you like best about HTML-Kit?

HTML-Kit makes the most compact edition for web development. It has a lot of add-ons and plugins for you to have fun choosing. It is lightweight and loads quickly. I think the suggestions function is deficient. Sometimes, it does not even make suggestions of variables I had previously defined, so I have to manually copy and paste the variables, wasting time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Quick edit HTML with live preview"

What do you like best about HTML-Kit?

Html kit have very little size so works in less memory usages. Quick open and preview with edit time of html is awesome. Develop html and css in very quick time with preview. Project switching and accessing files from outside of project directory is very easy from its existing file explorer window. After attach FTP using FTP details,we can upload files directly on web server. No need to use filezille or any other FTP tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about HTML-Kit?

This editor's Error detection mechanism is not so good. If i write and language script like PHP. Then it is showing in preview mode. There is no shortcut to open webpage direct in browser or create a local server. When work in HTML editing mode then the tool for style like Bold is not wrapping the sentence. It adds tag anywhere it detects cursor. It not confirms cursor is inside any other tag or not. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about HTML-Kit?

Formatting cues of the text are very helpful. It's a huge step up from notepad style products. tags get formatted which is incredibly helpful when you leave something open and are looking for an end position. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about HTML-Kit?

Seems to be a new update every time we open it. Understandable for bug fixes but then again, is it that bug laden? Developer should consider larger package updates for non critical issues so that we are not having to constantly do installs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Good program if you do light HTML editing frequently. If you are looking for a lightweight and cost effective program to replace a free "notepad" style editor, this is a great solution. just be prepared to update it a lot. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
