**What do you like best about Houzz Pro?**

We use Houzz Pro every day in our construction business, and it’s been extremely helpful for staying organized by keeping our clients and projects all in one place. Being able to create estimates and invoices, then send them directly to the client through Houzz, is awesome. The Houzz Pro Clipper is also a big help—having clients’ selections show up in their client dashboard makes it much easier to keep everyone on the same page. It has helped us reach a level of professionalism that we didn't have before Houzz. It is so easy to use not only for us but for our clients. They can easily approve or decline their selections as well as use their client dashboard to see all of their project in one place. I can't say enough good things about Houzz Pro and how it has helped our business. I also love the value for the money. Houzz Pro truly wants to make a great product so they are always taking feedback and creating new things to help make it better and better.

**What do you dislike about Houzz Pro?**

I think the only thing I do not like about it is sometimes it takes a long time for things to load when you are going from one page to the next. It's not instant. I do see them making changes though that are helping with this.

**What problems is Houzz Pro solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Houzz Pro has allowed us to have everything in one platform. We can email, chat, schedule, make selections. do floor plans, send invoice and estimates all in one place!

**What do you like best about Houzz Pro?**

Houzz Pro helps me stay organized and present a clear, polished experience for our clients. It allows me to keep track of selections, proposals, and project details all in one place, which makes everything feel more streamlined and easy to manage. From a client perspective, it creates a very clean and professional way to view items and project progress. I’m still learning the ins and outs of the platform, especially as I also use QuickBooks alongside it, but so far it has been a helpful tool in keeping our projects and communication organized.

**What do you dislike about Houzz Pro?**

I would have appreciated more guidance during the initial setup and onboarding. A more structured walkthrough, along with clearer support for customizing Houzz Pro to match our specific interior design workflow, would have made the transition much smoother and helped us get up and running with more confidence.

**What problems is Houzz Pro solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Houzz Pro is helping streamline our project organization and client communication. It allows us to keep selections, proposals, and project details all in one place instead of scattered across multiple platforms. **What do you like best about Houzz Pro?**

I love the convenience of Houzz Pro. It’s truly an all-in-one platform; with everything I need right at my fingertips. It helps keep all my information for multiple jobs organized. You can upload pictures and files to let the clients know how their job is coming along. My favorite feature is the AI Chat box, which helps me navigate the software, make changes, and get questions answered on the spot.

**What do you dislike about Houzz Pro?**

Getting started can feel a bit overwhelming at first. Houzz offers a lot of different features, so it may come across as intimidating in the beginning. However, once you’re in the system and actively using the software, it starts to feel natural and quickly becomes second nature. The onboarding team is great at answering questions quickly and setting up zoom meetings to walk you through tasks. The AI chat box is also an invaluable tool to help navigate quick changes.

**What problems is Houzz Pro solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Organization. Before we were using Houzz, our information was scattered over different phones, platforms, Excell spreadsheets, and invoicing software. Now, eveything is in one place. All employees can see the same information, and add any new pictures, updates, pricing, even texting and call logs or notes onto a project. This helps keep all the moving parts running smoothly, the clients are in the know at all times, and they aren't being given different answers by different employees.

**What do you like best about Houzz Pro?**

It’s easy to use and straightforward to learn on my own. Houzz offers great tutorials, and the service techs are helpful whenever I have questions. My clients really love the selection sheets and the 3D renderings. They make it easy to share my design vision, and everything is super clear for customers.

**What do you dislike about Houzz Pro?**

There’s a lot to learn, and it can feel overwhelming at times. The leads from the software haven’t been great, and when I do get leads, they’re often shared with several others in the same line of work, which makes it harder to stand out.

**What problems is Houzz Pro solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It’s been easy to share my design vision in a clear format that my clients can view and use to communicate with me. The invoicing feature has also helped me keep my business efficient, while making it simpler to track my business income.

**What do you like best about Houzz Pro?**

I find the take-off tool in Houzz Pro kind of neat. The takeoff tool is probably the best feature for me. I like being able to trace the space and get dimensions and measurements; that's nice.

**What do you dislike about Houzz Pro?**

The rest of the software is kind of clunky. I think they could improve a lot on the budgeting tool and the change order tool, the invoicing tool. You can't do a negative value in a change order, which is stupid. Editing your invoices after they've been sent isn't possible, and there's no option to void and resend an invoice even though the instructional videos show the option.I get a lot of duplicate entries that link to my QuickBooks, which is very annoying. The drawing tool is lacking.

**What problems is Houzz Pro solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Houzz Pro's takeoff tool is helpful for tracing spaces and getting dimensions, though it's not always ideal. It simplifies these tasks in my work.

**What do you like best about Houzz Pro?**

I really like the embedded ability to communicate with clients and keep a record of communication all in one place. It saves confusion from a client emailing or calling one person and that person having to communicate the info to the rest of the team. With Houzz Pro, all of the communication is in one place and accessible to everyone. It's convenient because everyone can see the information without having to track it down. The robust estimating system and the AI assistance are features I appreciate a lot. I also enjoy the embedded options for taking room scans and easily uploading photos of the project to the customer account. These make managing customer leads, projects, and jobs more efficient.

**What do you dislike about Houzz Pro?**

The technical instructions on how to set up the workflow could be more robust. We haven't found instructions that are step-by-step regarding data entry and flow. The invoicing portion could benefit from being more clear on the proper flow.

**What problems is Houzz Pro solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Houzz Pro to track client inquiries, manage job progress, and communicate with clients in one place, reducing confusion and making info accessible to everyone.

**What do you like best about Houzz Pro?**

I am still learning all the ways I can use Houzz.  I mostly use it for estimates, schedules and invoices.  I like that everything is tied together and makes sense from a broad view.

**What do you dislike about Houzz Pro?**

I am not a big fan of the cost.  When I first signed up for Houzz several years ago, I thought the cost was reasonable, albeit pretty high.  Now the cost has gone up a couple times and there isn't much I can do about it.

**What problems is Houzz Pro solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps me to keep track of budget.  I am old school and still like using my spreadsheets, but I am slowly trying to move away from that and Houzz allows me to do so comfortably.

**What do you like best about Houzz Pro?**

I think my favorite thing about Houzz Pro is creating estimates and having them approved, then turning those directly into invoices for payment. It's a pretty intuitive program, making it easy to use since I've been using it for a long time. I like having all of my documentation in one spot and being able to log in from anywhere. I could see a lot of information, even the ones I don't use like estimated revenue and estimated profit. I find it very useful that I can generate a quote request as well. It makes it really easy to track everything and have access to it from anywhere. Plus, I love that the documents are connected, allowing me to see where payments were made and how much they were for. It's a really good way just to track everything.

**What do you dislike about Houzz Pro?**

I think some of the bigger things that I wish it could do is better reporting. I could go into my reports, but there's just a few basic reports that I can find here. I'd love to be able to break down the reporting differently. It's not great for taxes and expenses and doing things like that. It would be also nice to be able to pay subcontractors using Houzz Pro. Like, if there was a way to have a section for having my subs, I could put those in here as well and make payments through here. They could track their time and create a request, like maybe a billable time or something like that. The item tracking might have been a little bit convoluted, but I think it was probably just me trying to figure it out. I don't really use the 3D floor plans because I have separate software for that. I don't really think it's as useful to me. Contracts would be nice to have, but that's more on the contractor side, I guess. Daily logs, change orders, I don't really use those either.

I use Houzz Pro to track leads, manage projects, create mood boards, and handle estimates and invoices. It helps clients see project details and reduces the need for frequent updates.

**What do you like best about Houzz Pro?**

I use Houzz Pro for my CRM platform for my construction business with design capabilities. I like all the features it offers. It helps with efficiency and creating estimates, which is quite important for my work. The AI estimate feature is great, and the design feature is particularly helpful for home renovation projects.

**What do you dislike about Houzz Pro?**

My onboarding was terrible. It needs big improvement and data transfer from other CRM systems seems to be an issue. The first dedicated support I had didn't do the onboarding properly and messed up some of the client data transfer. Have a lot of issues still working through the onboarding. The schedule is not that great because it combines all your different job tasks into the day and gets way too busy on the calendar overview. would be nice to see a general Calander that you can schedule jobs and events on and then have the current Gantt chart style Calander under just the specific project.

I use Houzz Pro for efficiency in my construction and design business, with great design and CRM capabilities. The AI estimate feature streamlines creating estimates.

There has been nothing I found. I dislike only things I didn’t understand how to correctly use. To which Houzz Pro has been excellent with support.

I’d say there are a few tweaks that could be made in the mood board department—for example, adding shapes to layer behind text, or offering AI assistance to help alter photos.

Houzz Pro helps solve my problem of being unorganized, especially when I enter payments on invoices. It automatically calculates the next payment and so forth, which makes it much easier to stay on top of everything.

I find Houzz Pro to be an excellent platform for interior designers, offering a lot of robust options. I like the new ability to connect with vendors and upload product information directly into a client's mood board, which I can also keep in my files for future reference. I also appreciate the invoicing feature with the ability to have ACH payments directly deposited into my account. Overall, it's very easy to use and makes it simple to bill clients and collect funds on time, as well as maintain communication with clients and share information seamlessly.

The payment options are limited, the fees are too high, and the waiting time for payments to reach my bank account is far too long. Also how hard it is to make a revise estimate it is very inconvenient.

The AI tool is great for getting answers on where to find or how to do something on Houzz. It also helps to generate estimates from descriptions which save a lot of time. I also like the new tool to make annotations on the 3d plan tool

**What do you like best about Houzz Pro?**

I like that Houzz Pro offers unlimited users, which is a big plus for my team. The customer support is also a major reason why I switched to Houzz Pro. I find the AI function for building estimates very handy and a huge time saver, especially when moving over from a previous CRM. It includes an itemized list for completing a project, making the estimation and project phases more user-friendly for customers to understand each step.

**What do you dislike about Houzz Pro?**

I find the lack of a filtering function for the client list when sending mass emails frustrating. I have to select all and then unselect what I don't want to send, which is not convenient. It would be nice to filter by address, name, or project. Also, it's missing the ability to download information to Excel to easily manage data within the CRM. Another issue is that I can't attach the same calendar to multiple users, which makes it difficult when everyone's using the same meeting calendar. These are areas that could be improved.

Integrated functionality which allows me to be more efficient and have my team and business in less separate systems. I also appreciate that we can make suggestions for how to improve and the frequent releases to add and improve on existing and new functionality.

I wish the website capabilities were more robust along with the CRM capability. These are the two areas I am considering exploring options outside of Houzz Pro to better support my business and process.

**What do you like best about Houzz Pro?**

I appreciate Houzz Pro's capability to manage the full stack of relations within a construction project, especially in the residential realm. It covers everything from the client experience, starting as a lead through to the final cycle, including vendor relationships and orders and managing subcontractors. The unified tech stack offered by Houzz Pro allows us to quickly organize and search through parts of the company that would typically require various technology-based solutions. This integration means I can manage contracts, estimates, takeoffs, 3D floor plans, selection boards, selection trackers, and more, all within one place. Additionally, the software facilitates communication with clients and provides financing options while allowing us to look at cash analysis, keeping everything centralized and streamlined. Setup was made easier with assistance from account executives or helpers, and once started, it's user-friendly. Overall, this software's comprehensive capabilities and support make it immensely valuable in enhancing the efficiency and organization of construction management projects.

**What do you dislike about Houzz Pro?**

I find the experience with Houzz Pro to be inconsistent across different devices. Specifically, the functionality on our work iPads and other iOS-based apps, including mobile phones, is limited compared to what is available on the computer. I would like to see greater functionality in these iOS apps to improve our workflow and efficiency.

I like Houzz Pro for its 3D floor plans and the ability to turn layouts into PDF format for permits. It offers more options than Jobber, which was a reason for switching. The initial setup was very easy because it was self-explanatory.

**What do you like best about Houzz Pro?**

I like that the CRM is integrated with an invoicing system that includes a way to pay virtually along with being able to draw floor plans too. I haven’t found another system that includes all of those things

**What do you dislike about Houzz Pro?**

I can’t refund a payment through the Houzz system. If a customer pays with a credit card I have to refund them with a bank check instead of reversing the payment digitally

**What do you like best about Houzz Pro?**

I like the catalog feature in Houzz Pro. I also appreciate the photos that accompany proposals for clients to view. The initial setup was very easy.

**What do you dislike about Houzz Pro?**

It's very slow, there are always delays. I also don't like that it charges my clients a fee to pay with credit card when many other programs don't charge a fee. The subscription cost is also too high. I wish I hadn't switched from IVY to be honest.

**What do you like best about Houzz Pro?**

My Houzz rep is so helpful and cares about my success.  He offers extras to try to further my business and does a little hand holding when necessary.  I think a good Houzz rep makes all the difference in the world and I'm glad to have mine!  I have generated business from Houzz leads that has really advanced my business.  It's a great platform for your business for marketing as well as proposals, invoicing and lots of other things.

**What do you dislike about Houzz Pro?**

Their LiDar technology is inaccurate.  I have verified this with other designers.  I cannot use it to measure and draw a room so I've had to go to other software at a pretty decent expense.  It's really pretty expensive is the other thing that makes it hard...but so far, it's helping my business enough to make it worth it.

They are getting my firm's name out there to folks who search online for designers.  Getting your name out there is one of the hardest things to do.

**What do you like best about Houzz Pro?**

I work for an Interior Design company. The best part that I like about Houzz Pro is that this is an all-in-one solution website for getting leads, managing projects, and also managing time and expenses. I do not need any other lead management solution, Houzz does it all for me. I can follow up on leads, convert it into projects and then manage the project.

**What do you dislike about Houzz Pro?**

The only thing about this that I do not like is the pricing. The costing is on the higher side and it charges me about $500 per month. Yet there is no guarantee that I will receive a minimum number of leads. This is something they should work on. Other than that there are some other minor issues which I keep sending them feedback but they are good at acknowledging it.

For small companies, it becomes difficult to take subscriptions to different websites for lead management, email marketing, project management, etc. Houzz is a one-stop solution for interior design companies and I can manage all in here. I do not need to keep any data in my drive. Houzz does it all for me.

It makes my busines look and function professional .I love them adding new features so I can run my buiness from this platforn not having to use so many others to do my job. The leads have been more frequent lately which is good but there still many that are just no response.

That I have use 3 diffent devices to get m y work done . When I am in thre field I cant show the design look or 3dr rendering even to make a simple changes. There are no mood boards for the  ipad or the phone if you can do that with other platforms this shpould be easy to intergrate.The 3d is a great tool but it has been having issues with not saving the renderind and not gettin accurate meaasurments. 
The ivy clipper should have i pad app so that when you see something you can quickly add it . Example I am in a store shopping I will not be bring a desktop or laptop to the store. so I take a picture then have to go back to the offfice and look every thing up again where this should take undewr a minute now has to take 5 to fifteen each item. I also dont see much help on the hosting of the website to make sure you are getting listed at the right places. exampl : my client puts in my full busines name and address and they cant find me ... Or if you do find me I am 9 or 15 down with my information in the search.. that is happing directly on Houzz.

It gettingbetter to intergrate contractors but vendors it requring them to sign up with houzz and they dint want to pay for something they dont want or cant use.

Houzz Pro keeps your website generated contacts in one place.

**What do you dislike about Houzz Pro?**

I dislike so many things about this platform. The website is extemely slow to process input. I find myself waiting for the site to catch up before I can continue working. This is case in Chrome and Edge. They give you an account manager who you can call directly with questions or problems. The problem with that is he is always days out to schedule which is not helpful when you need a solution asap. Phone support is not great. A huge annoyance is how the leads are listed on the phone app after they become a client. It's very difficult to click on the correct link to open the contact. This one will sound crazy, but on multiple occasions I have uploaded notes that have then dissapeared.

Houzz keeps a record of contacts. They alert me when someone has checked out the website and when someone reaches out for information.

There are a lot of things I like about Houzz Pro, but the the feature that has been the most beneficial is their lead generation. 90% of my new leads come from Houzz. Additionally, I like the invoicing feature.

There is nothing that I can say I dislike about it. Early on, there were a few bugs but they have corrected them and added a lot of new and useful features.

The bottom line is that, before I signed on with Houzz Pro, I was hardly getting any leads. Now, most of my decent leads come through Houzz.

It allows me to track quotes and signatures from clients and automatically send reminders. The selection boards allow me to quickly and easily send different options to clients without having to send out specific quotes for every item.

When i print out the PDFs they are very spreadout and not like the standard look as it is on the website.

HouzzPro's software (for blueprints) is just like the program Conx that we paid monthly for, but it's included in the Houzz system.

Comparing it to Buildertrend it isn't as user-friendly. It takes a few tries to get to where you need to go. Also, comparing it to Buildertrend, the amounts that are due are set up weirdly in Houzz

The estimating part and invoicing parts are friendly and straightforward. Sending them to the homeowner is also swift and easy.

You can choose the area you want to market in and the amount you want to spend in each territory. They really give you a lot for your monthly fee: marketing to relevant homeowners and using your pictures in searches. I meet with my account manager 1x a month and she always bring ideas and tells me about new additions to the platform.

**What do you dislike about Houzz Pro?**

I don't like that they break up territories, making them smaller. For example, Bergen County is  broken down into Bergen Eash, West and North.

**What problems is Houzz Pro solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Reaching Houzz members. Its a very complicated platform, difficult to reach readers. You just have to hope they land on your profile otherwise, so this gives us the ability to reach our audience.
