## Hone Reviews
  ### 1. Diverse Course Options, But Lacks Depth

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Joshua H.

**Reviewed Date:** February 06, 2026

**What do you like best about Hone?**

I find the variety of courses offered by Hone helpful for developing my skills. Courses like 'Delegate like a Pro' and 'The Coach Approach' have helped me communicate expectations and build out my day. I also find the wide array of courses optimal, as they offer many options that fit most employees.

**What do you dislike about Hone?**

I find that the courses can sometimes be very surface level, which makes them generic or leads to weak engagement. There seems to be a hesitancy to spur dialogue or challenges, perhaps to avoid offending people.

**What problems is Hone solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hone helps me develop professionally for my management role, focusing on time management, delegation, and inspiring employees. Courses like "Delegate like a Pro" and "Own Your Day" enhance my communication and day planning skills.

  ### 2. Strong Course Content, but Group Participation Often Falls Flat

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Entertainment | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 17, 2026

**What do you like best about Hone?**

Hone’s courses feel more textbook-oriented, which I find helpful when it comes to discussing and less tangible skills.

**What do you dislike about Hone?**

Most courses require group participation rather than following a more traditional webinar format. Since the attendees are all still learning, this approach often ends up being ineffective. That’s especially true when you consider that about half the participants are there only because it’s required, and even among the rest, a significant portion aren’t engaged in the exercise.

**What problems is Hone solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Newer leaders are often chosen for a role based on their performance and perceived potential, but they don’t always receive the training they need. As a result, they can end up without key skills like conflict resolution, goal setting, and strategic thinking. Hone breaks these areas into individual modules that help you build and sharpen your leadership abilities.

  ### 3. Valuable Insights with Outdated Delivery

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Neil P.

**Reviewed Date:** February 09, 2026

**What do you like best about Hone?**

I like it when Hone classes have tangible takeaways in practice. I was better able to use the AI tools. I appreciate the everchanging and growing classes and topics.

**What do you dislike about Hone?**

I don't like that the Zoom class format feels flat and outdated.

**What problems is Hone solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hone helps me unravel the power of AI and transform conflict into collaboration, offering valuable methodologies with tangible takeaways. I also appreciate the everchanging and growing classes and topics.

  ### 4. Easy-to-Use Scheduling, But Online Courses Feel Superficial

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Architecture & Planning | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 09, 2026

**What do you like best about Hone?**

The scheduling platform was easy to use. It was easy to bring up details of reservations and to change times.

**What do you dislike about Hone?**

The courses felt superficial when most people are participating online and don't speak much or devote their full attention.

**Recommendations to others considering Hone:**

The investment was low, but the lasting impact may also be relatively low. I think it may be easy to forget anything learned within a year.

**What problems is Hone solving and how is that benefiting you?**

They have pertinent, current topics for sessions.

  ### 5. Credentialing Coordinator

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Staffing and Recruiting | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 19, 2026

**What do you like best about Hone?**

A ton of information that was impactful and important in a short amount of time.

**What do you dislike about Hone?**

Scheduling meetings - times do not always work well with my work schedule and trying to set aside 1 hour during the work day to complete.

**What problems is Hone solving and how is that benefiting you?**

How to manage conflicts and teaching best methods to deal with conflicts in the workplace.

  ### 6. The training was geared towards new managers or those with very little experience, not seasoned ones

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 28, 2021

**Describe the project or task Hone helped with:**

This was mandatory assigned manager training.

**What do you like best about Hone?**

Open setup for the discussions. Opportunity to share experiences.

**What do you dislike about Hone?**

In breakout rooms, we were pinned to the same cohort (likely by the host?) for any given class. Not much time to discuss with others.
Some of the sessions are too long.

**What problems is Hone solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I don't know the answer to this.

**Official Response from Matthew Parry:**

> Thanks for providing your feedback. We work with your HR or L&D teams to tailor our content to your team's needs, but it sounds like this one might have missed the mark. If you could provide this feedback to your program manager, we can work with them to get you in more advanced classes next time.
