What I find most helpful when using Glean, is the ability to aggregate business knowledge scattered across platforms including Jira, Zendesk and Slack; to form a strong picture of an issue, a common theme or support troubleshooting for my clients. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We’ve been using Glean for a few months now, and I really like the way it indexes our enterprise data from so many different sources and then retrieves personalized results so quickly. Sometimes it doesn’t feel as consistent as other LLMs, for whatever reason. I’ve had multiple reports of people having better answers in GPT/Claude than in Glean using the same models. I like the Chrome extension the most because I can pop it up wherever I need it, on any tab, and ask it questions based on the tab I'm working in. I also like that I can toggle on different settings from the Chrome extension based on what output I'm looking for, such as using outside data, only internal company data, or both. It's an enhancement from using ChatGPT or Claude separately because it is layered into all of our enterprise data, which means I don't have to give it context or copy and paste internal company info for context. It's very very very slow in providing answers. It's also not always consistent. I can query it the same prompt on different occasions and it will use totally different ways to get to an output, which is not helpful. An example would be when I am looking at an Opportunity in Salesforce, and I ask Glean to show me similar closed-won opportunities in the system, and it will use different Salesforce fields in different queries to yield results, even after I have instructed it to do it a certain way. For larger organizations that have data, documents, and collateral scattered across different databases and repositories and deal with siloes / complicated permissioning, Glean can help simplify AI integrations / collateral administration. It also pitches itself as an AI cost management tool that helps match tasks to the most efficient LLMs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It's expensive, and the LLMs are getting better and inferring context. With a little front-end work on data and content management, we no longer saw the value. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I find Glean easy to use and always very helpful. I don't need to have a bunch of bookmarks or read through internal company information. I just ask Glean a question, and it does the work for me by pulling information from different sources and helping me get an answer quickly. You can just type your question and it searches the entire company resources to get the answers, so I don't have to go clicking around to other sites.
