What do you dislike about Floship?

I strongly advise against using Floship—avoid this company at all costs.

Firstly, dealing with Floship is a constant blame game; no matter what goes wrong, it's never their fault. They consistently make severe billing errors, adding arbitrary charges to invoices that defy explanation. Expect at least a 25% markup on all shipping rates, clearly padding their profits at their clients' expense.

Moreover, their inventory handling is a nightmare. They frequently pack and ship orders in the wrong cartons, but when confronted, they refuse any responsibility and conveniently shift blame elsewhere. Inventory reception is painfully slow, significantly disrupting business operations and causing unnecessary delays.

Their approach to invoicing borders on absurdity—they charge for anything and everything imaginable, often items that shouldn't even be billed. Communication with their customer service is a robotic experience; the representatives seem detached, scripted, and entirely unaccountable. It's evident none of them have actually visited or understand operations at their own warehouse.

Having personally visited their Hong Kong facility, I can confirm it's disorganized and highly unprofessional. Overall, Floship provides a frustrating and unreliable service that consistently harms rather than helps your business. A company to steer clear of by every measure. In the beginning, the communication and cost were good. That was over 3 years ago. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Floship?

By the end, it would take days to hear back about anything. When I transferred my products, they lied about the costs to retain my money. Then, when the bill was finalized, they refused to return the over $3000 for a 90-day period when she knew I had more than enough already in my account. Don't trust what they say, especially "Iza." Shipping delays, always having disturbance. Avoid this company at all cost. I dont know why they are even existing. You will loose revenue and all your customers with them. In short, avoid unless you want to cause significant impact to your customer's experience. Our clients have been inconvenienced severely through ineffective and late shipping practices whilst we have burned a significant amount of time and money in correcting this; to the extent that we will look forward to just shipping ourselves and/or using better alternatives such as Easyship in the future.

We were originally approached by Floship to provide fulfillment services for a Kickstarter campaign. After being provided a full cost simulation and in-person advice all support disappeared once fulfillment began.

Notably this has included:

- Agreeing to DDP (duties paid) shipping, which was paid upfront, and then subsequently invoicing us a second time for the same custom fees/duties. Once the invoice was paid staff also attempted to change the terms of the agreement to DAP (duties unpaid) before being corrected, citing difficulties with their customs broker that were false and had to be resolved ourselves.

- Support staff refusing to provide any receipts for postage costs. You are provided 'estimate' options per carrier and are invoiced for them up to a month later, with no indication as to how costs were calculated so that more affordable options can be identified.

- Orders were regularly pick-packed incorrectly, with missing items leading to further shipments (+ costs) and negative customer experience.

- Despite a contractual SLA of next business day fulfillment, they did not ship more than 1200 orders for 28+ days, and attempted to charge us for the use of a more expensive courier, stating that the original selection was unavailable. When this was queried, they stated they would refund the 'difference'; however this never occurred.

- Losing inbound shipments for several weeks, and claiming that they were not delivered until signed proof of delivery was provided by the delivery courier.

- Postage costs are provided as inflated estimates and your money is held for several months before invoicing, requiring you to over-spend in order to continue fulfillment.

- There is no option to withdraw money deposited and you are charged a 3% deposit fee in addition to a 3% service fee per invoice. This information was NOT included in the original cost simulation provided.

- Email support requests are regularly ignored and staff will not respond to actual queries.

-Their portal does not provide for sending customers tracking emails, and you will need to pay upwards of $300 USD/month for external apps (e.g. Aftership, which did not end up working).

These are just some of our most recent negative experiences however they have continued since November 2022 and have continued from there. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Floship?

Expected to have a positive experience with Floship since they are supposed to specialize in crowdfunding campaigns. This did not happen. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Floship?

Floship delayed deliveries by months, then made unacceptable errors on customs declarations, then messed up customer addresses.

On top of this, it took numerous emails to get our account agent to respond to any of our requests.

We have since switched to a different 3PL and they are so much better it is hard to believe Floship is still around. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Floship?

I've used Floship for over 5 years for my ecommerce fulfilment and I can't speak highly enough.

I also like the seamless integration with my Shopify store.
