Very user friendly & I love how all of my data is stored on one location! Client support is a very helpful resource for questions or in case someone needs help.

**What do you dislike about FileHandler Enterprise?**

Dashboard functionality can be a lot to deal with, because there are a lot of them & feels as if all of them aren't tested before they're released.

**What problems is FileHandler Enterprise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Organization and condensing of data is what is being solved. This is benefitting us by keeping all of our data in one place

**What do you like best about FileHandler Enterprise?**

I think our acocunt manager is very responsive to answering questions and resolving problems.  I like that we've been able to customize the system to our unique needs.  The reporting tool is very impressive, once all of the necessary fields are available on a specific report.

**What do you dislike about FileHandler Enterprise?**

I wish we had more autonomy in building reports.  If my reporting teams needs to add certain fields to a report that aren't already included in the SQL query or stored procedure, they have to go through our account rep.  Coming from Crystal Reports, we were used to having full access to the data base which enables us to make report modifications immediately without external assistance.

**What problems is FileHandler Enterprise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We utilize it to manage our claims.  We came to FHE because our old system could not grow with us.  It was operationally effective but had no bells and whistles and wasn't very presentable to the client.  FHE satisfies that.

FileHandler is incredibly user friendly and easy to use, training takes no time. Integration was easy and it is scalable and customizable. We used it daily with no issues or reasons to contact support.

I wish there was an app for claim updates/information. Sometimes it felt like changes weren't fully tested before being rolled out to us.

The filehandler system is easily configurable to meet our constantly changing business needs. Additionally, the dedicated team is readily available to assist with questions or troubleshoot various system specific items.  Lastly, the entire team made the implementation appear to be seamless.  The team was extremely involved in understanding our original system, our business processes and client expectations.

**What do you dislike about FileHandler Enterprise?**

There is nothing about the program that I dislike.  If I had one recommendation, it would be that a training manual be provided at the time of implementation.

**What problems is FileHandler Enterprise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Utilizing filehandler has streamlined a variety of  processes handled by our claims team.  The ability to allow clients read only access has significantly reduced the number of inquiries previously managed by the team. The system has also allowed us to customize various reports based on the requirements of our individual clients.

FHE is perfect for one-stop claim handling.  No need to work in multiple programs and the system continues to work even when you are offline with the report scheduler.  Such a time saver!

 Their customer service is top-notch & they are in touch with their individual client's needs.

**What do you dislike about FileHandler Enterprise?**

It would be helpful to be able to have some more customizable options without having to get JW involved, but overall no real complaints with the system.

Very user friendly, customizable as needed and great resources at JW Software to assist. A lot of great features.

The reports are not very intuitive, if you mess up one line item the whole report does not work. Need more explaination when pulling report data.

Detailed data to report on for analysis. Search and sort for handlers and insured and parties is great. Great features for posting payales that provide guidenece for not paying duplicate payments.

The ease of use of the application as well as the reliability of it.

**What do you dislike about FileHandler Enterprise?**

Limitations on attachment screen for viewing large documents and inability to mark pages as well as the limited functionality of dashboards.

Antyime we have faced an issue, we have received an immediate response. 
Our current issue is correct information populating on the table in the policy screen. We have received a few fixes but still have an oustanding item.

Flexibility and tailorable by client.  Supperior customer support services.

Modification to data base with supporting reports can be complecated.  

Financial Reporting to comply with NAIC Statement Blank standards requires manual manipulation of data outside software.  for period specific data.

Software should be able to track claims on a gross and net (net of reinsurance) basis.

User friendly, intuitive,  ease of implementation and integration are some of the key features amongst many other. Customer service is also very impressive with troubleshooting any questions, bugs, configuration changes.

Maintaining data integrity for reporting purpose, ease of adding fields, label changes to screens has been of a huge help with implementing FHE. Also, unlimited view only and reporting license have been very useful for auditors.

Ease of navigation and that legacy reporting is there.

**What do you dislike about FileHandler Enterprise?**

Letter templates, that's only because I'm still learning about them. It's not that anything is particularly difficult but more just daunting.

**Recommendations to others considering FileHandler Enterprise:**

FileHandler continues to be a great software in and of itself, but the support team we've had has been wonderful and that is an absolute bonus. 
You're going to hear complaints, some features are more time-consuming, some are different than what other users are used to, etc, but be mindful of who the complaints are coming from and don't allow that to alter you using the software. Dive into the FileHandler yourself and see what you enjoy.

**What problems is FileHandler Enterprise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

No particular problems in general, but as they arise. Here recently we've been having checks that print with no signature but this hasn't been an issue on FH end, but we believe our server/pdf side. FH has worked with us quickly each time we have an issue to help resolve it or figure out why.

I like that you can find everything related to a claim in one place. I like that emailing and communication can happen straight from the system. I like that JW will work with you to integrate with other company software as needed.

**What do you dislike about FileHandler Enterprise?**

I do not like that it is not specifically for a multi-family operation in the way we use it, which means that it has a lot more capability than we need. This advanced capability sounds excellent, but sometimes the extra options make it user-friendly for all team members.

**Recommendations to others considering FileHandler Enterprise:**

It's an excellent tool for managing insurance losses and incidents. I recommend you work with JW software closely to set up your first notice screens so that you are getting the information from your intake process. These can be specialized to your companies needs, and I wish we had done this process better in the beginning.

**What problems is FileHandler Enterprise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are using FileHandler to manage our risk management incidents at multi-family properties. We have benefited from the ability to communicate in one place and track our progress on all losses. We have also benefited from the ability to track metrics and data related to our losses, so that we can improve safety and performance.

**What do you like best about FileHandler Enterprise?**

FHE is a nice program with many user-friendly capabilities. All the claim data is stored in one place and can be easily accessed. It has helped streamline some of our processes to be more efficient. Can also send emails from the program.

**What do you dislike about FileHandler Enterprise?**

FHE limits how much data can be uploaded to a file (99MB) and affects when downloading correspondence from the file, it appears you can only download 99MB at a time, which can be time-consuming. Incoming emails addressed to adjusters can't be appropriately received from outside parties. The emails get routed to an unassigned inbox creating more work for our team. It has fewer index and feature options than other programs I have used. Takes a long time for FHE to implement our specs into production after received.

FHE has helped streamline some of our processes but has also created new issues at the same time, so we are more productive, and it has increased performance but not high as expected.

FHE has several great qualities that are easy to use.  The ability to move screen from screen without pause is the best feature.  It is easy to read, and proivdes up to date information quickly for diary, new attachments, and new claims

**What do you dislike about FileHandler Enterprise?**

The only downside is finding an attachment to a file note in the attachment section if the file is old and has 100's of attachments.

**Recommendations to others considering FileHandler Enterprise:**

Work through the whole system. Self-explanatory mostly, and easy to get used to.

**What problems is FileHandler Enterprise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Time-saving when numerous attachments are needed, easy to click on all, download and forward.  This makes us more productive.

Lack of back-end ability to make comprehensive edits, with simple actions hidden behind developer layers. Front-end layout is often confusing and lacks a cohesive structure to it's organization.

Adequate claims management software. Does not do everything needed and changes are difficult to request.

The software is one of the only fully customizable claims applications that I have used giving the DB Admin the ability to be able to create their own dashboards, reports, and user interface all while maintaining a relational database. The Support team is exceptional, they really work with the client to ensure they are getting what they need out of the product and always very responsive to any issues that arise.

The core product could be more tailored to the end-user, the base product requires a great deal of customization to get it where we want it to be.

Work out your vision for the product before you enter the design phase, this will help reduce costs and make sure your out of the box product is up to your expectations.

It's a one stop platform for handling claims across lines of business. The system is highly configurable out of the box and JW Software helps you build it to what you need. The ability to customize the system is there, but with the configurations available, you can accomplish your process without needing special development.

**What do you like best about FileHandler Enterprise?**

The system is extremely user friendly for my claims managers, adjusters, support staff and clients.  The JW Software support staff are easy to reach and   extremely knowledgeable.   Any claims management system is only as good as the staff that supports it, and JW Software has always provided excellent support staff over the last 10 years we have been with them.  The system is always on-line with an almost 0% downtime.   The responsive support staff, the ability to create automated business rules, the reporting module and the ability to create and modify screens on the front end are only some of the reasons we have stayed loyal customers to JW Software.

**What do you dislike about FileHandler Enterprise?**

The FileHandler Enterprise software has some really intuitive reporting and custom screen building capabilities that we are not skilled enough to fully utilize.  In order to get the most out of these capabilities, you would need to have some programming experience and we do not have any one on staff that has the needed experience.  With that being said, we have never been unable to provide a report or reports that our customers have requested.

FileHandler Enterprise provides everything a TPA needs to manage, organize and protect their clients claims data.  The system is improved on an annual basis based on the needs and recommendation of their customers.

We use FileHandler Enterprise to manage and store our client's claims on a daily basis, while keeping up with the changing reporting requirements and technology.   We are able to report to state and federal agencies electronically, allowing us to work efficiently and complete with larger national TPA's with there in house software.

JW Software provides personal and attentive support for FileHandler. There is little wait time and it's nice to contact a person when we run into issues.

FileHandler has evolved and the version we migrated too has now become "legacy". It would be nice if our standard maintenance and support fee promoted us to the next version. It appears we will have to incur a cost on top of our M&S fee, eventually to move to the new "Enterprise" version.

**Recommendations to others considering FileHandler Enterprise:**

I would recommend you meet with them and talk about your needs and hear their approach and philosophy toward software development. We would recommend FH.

We were better able to reduce our use of physical paper because of the features in FileHandler. EDIs and automated (scheduled) reports have been so much easier too.

I love seeing the cost associated with our WC cases for each of our injured employees.  This section of the FH system makes my job so much easy.  I used to struggle with the old system I used to use.  I like how FH keeps track of the OSHA recordable days of each case. It generates letters to employees. It can keep all the correspondence I received from Drs., attorneys, physical therapy facilities, etc.  FH has diaries so I set diaries if need to for cases that I consider as Red Flag case. FH keeps track of my financial reports. 

 I love FH!

As of now, I love everything about FH. I don't dislike something of it.

The data that is entered into File Handler can be converted into spreadsheets reports for easier understanding.  i also like that I can access a claimant's (employee) information and files all in one site, i dont have to jump to different sites or programs.

So far I do not have any issues with File Handler, besides the Active X controls issue but that has gotten better.

The item and page security can be confusing compared to the old platform. But I would attribute that partially to the fact that we were so used to the old platform that it takes time to make the switch.
