As great as the ezCater technology is, it’s still beholden to the last-mile logistics of its restaurant partners. In some cases, those partners aren’t consistent in how they deliver their service. Whether it’s a delayed delivery time or a drop in overall food quality, it can negatively impact customer satisfaction and, in turn, reflect poorly on our service and brand.
This could be improved with more real-time tracking for orders in progress, along with clearer customer updates when delays are expected. In a manufacturing environment where customers have specific, designated lunch times, knowing when the food will arrive is extremely important to help them make the most of their lunch period.
