What do you like best about ezCater?

I really value their ability to work closely with us to customize solutions around our clients’ unique needs. They’re also extremely responsive and always open to supporting our teams whenever any issues or challenges come up. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ezCater?

As great as the ezCater technology is, it’s still beholden to the last-mile logistics of its restaurant partners. In some cases, those partners aren’t consistent in how they deliver their service. Whether it’s a delayed delivery time or a drop in overall food quality, it can negatively impact customer satisfaction and, in turn, reflect poorly on our service and brand.

This could be improved with more real-time tracking for orders in progress, along with clearer customer updates when delays are expected. In a manufacturing environment where customers have specific, designated lunch times, knowing when the food will arrive is extremely important to help them make the most of their lunch period. What problems is ezCater solving and how is that benefiting you?

They offer a compelling value proposition, especially for clients that aren’t in a large metro area or whose workforce has defined lunch periods. They aggregate a diversified restaurant partner network and simplify daily meal and catering orders through smart, easy-to-use technology.

We use ezCater for daily meal ordering and catering at a fairly remote client site where most of the workforce is in manufacturing. Before we started with ezCater, employees had to use their 30-minute lunch breaks to drive 5 to 10 minutes to grab food, which left them very little time to actually enjoy lunch once they got back to the site. Since there’s no onsite food production, having a variety of options delivered has been a huge relief for employees and a strong solution for our client, who had always struggled with this aspect of their campus. It has improved employee satisfaction tremendously.

We’ve also been able to streamline catering quality, processes, and budgets by using ezCater’s Marketplace in conjunction with our teams. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about ezCater?

I love the rewards ezCater offers. They help with finding a vendor that will provide a lunch at the last minute for unexpected meetings, which is super useful. The initial setup of ezCater was easy, making the transition smooth when we switched from having someone in the office ordering lunches. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ezCater?

I have attempted to add or change something on an order but it seems that the issue is when the change is done before the order leaves the business but they never accept. I have had to run out just to get one lunch even before my order left the restaurant instead of the business including one more and charging me for another lunch.
