Expensify's recent changes have made it much more confusing and difficult to use. They revamped how it works to supposedly make it smarter with AI features, but it actually became a lot worse. The AI doesn't understand basic commands like adding a receipt to an expense report, which is supposed to be its core functionality. The login process has changed and become more confusing, as well as the process of adding expenses and putting them into a report. I find myself unsure how to do it these days. It is so simple to use and creates reports with the expenses classified and sub-totaled. When you get a receipt for an expense, open the app, take a picture of the receipt, then email it to Expensify. It is that easy. Or just type in the info about the expense, date, description, amount, classification, assign it to a report.
