What do you like best about Eventzilla?

This platform offers nearly all the features you would expect from a premium event management solution. The integration with HubSpot is quite basic, but the options for customising tickets and add-ons are excellent. Their technical support team is very responsive and helpful. What do you dislike about Eventzilla?

One drawback I’ve noticed with Eventzilla is that its branding flexibility is somewhat restricted. There aren’t many templates available for the event registration page, and the options for customising those pages are also quite limited. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Eventzilla?

Extremely easy to use. So many different tickets can be set up. We use several different tickets for one event and this software is truly flexible to our needs. I would have to say what I like best is the quick response from the Eventzilla staff. They always respond no matter what time of day. They have saved me several times with unusual issues popping up and they responded so quickly it was if we were in the same room together working on solutions. We are currently in the process of updating our updated programs and systems and I truly look forward to being able to integrate Eventzilla with our processes to make the transition as seamless as possible. What do you like best about Eventzilla?

What I like most about Eventzilla is how easy it is to set up an event from scratch. The interface is intuitive and allows you to customize registration forms, tickets, and the event page without any technical knowledge. I also really value the attendee tracking tools and real-time reporting, which help make better decisions during and after the event. What do you dislike about Eventzilla?

One area that could be improved is the integration with some external platforms—some of them aren’t as seamless as I expected. I also noticed that a few advanced features are only available in the higher-tier plans, which can be limiting for events with tight budgets. What do you like best about Eventzilla?

For the British Association for Nutrition and Lifestyle Medicine (BANT) I have been creating ticketed events, virtual, in-person and hybrid, for several years, using Eventbrite.

Driven by dissatisfaction with the admin and customer experience of Eventbrite, we switched to Eventzilla for a trial, and after one completed event (400 tickets) and three other events in process, we have decided to remain with Eventzilla for all events, thanks to these much appreciated features:

1. Event setup strikes a very helpful balance between preconfigured design elements and layout and user configuration. For example, there are preconfigured templates available for featuring speakers and sponsors which work well and deliver consistent, visually attractive info. However one can also move the order of content on the main event page to fit whatever is preferred, so the speaker profiles can go first, or last, or anywhere, which is very helpful flexibility.

2. Within-app mailouts can accept copy and paste transfers of drafted content from Google Docs (and similar) retaining all the HTML formatting i.e., embedded hyperlinks and formatting, which is a huge boon to preparing multiple mailouts

3. Admin-side editing is made more pleasant thanks to quickly resizable editing boxes for all the larger blocks of content, such as event description. This may seem like an obvious feature, but some comparators do not enable it, with the result that you are editing within a tiny box that does not enable you to view more than a paragraph at a time whilst editing

4. Whilst there is not a directly visible product roadmap my direct experience is that the Eventzilla team are highly appreciative of roadmap input (I have seen some of my suggestions implemented since beginning use)

5. The configuration options available for the post-checkout action for ticket buyers are excellent, enabling delivery of clear, branded joining instructions, using both email and attachments. Our finding is that this has significantly improved the ticket buyer experience compared to our prior platform.

6. Experience of tech support has been positive. Within our initial account setup and first events setup we had several reasons to ask for specific help, and these were all satisfied in an effective and timely way. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Eventzilla?

We began using Eventzilla just prior to the introduction of out of the box Stripe payment integration, which meant that we experienced an oddity within initial payment-taking setup, but this is now fully resolved and does not reoccur for new events or account creations.

Whilst not a dislike, it would be welcome to see a development roadmap indicating future features and an indicative timeline.

Although minor, it would be welcome to be able to adjust the way that dates are presented within some admin-side interfaces so that these were not US date format i.e., MM, DD, YYYY. What do you like best about Eventzilla?

This is my and my team's first time planning an event on this scale. From day one, Eventzilla has been so straightforward and easy to use. The way the system functions is so logical that it has been easy to implement and learn. When we've had questions, their support team has been responsive and helped us to learn the platform better and maximize our value. Every time we have come with a feature need, we've discovered that they already have it and are 10 steps ahead of us. We've had almost no problems with Eventzilla. When there has been an issue like a text box not showing up the way we need to, we've been able to bring to to Eventzilla and they've responded quickly and efficiently to solve the problem. What do you like best about Eventzilla?

The interface is simple to work with, which is greatly appreciated by this busy, small team. We can set up our virtual ticketing and event information quickly. We have used it for many events. The functionality has everything we need, our registrants have not had any issues with the system, and in the few times we've needed customer support Eventzilla's team has responded quickly and clearly to resolve any questions. What do you like best about Eventzilla?

There are so many tools and customizations that are integrated into the platform that allow you to get as detailed as you'd like with your event. The platform is generally intuitive to figure out and super robust in its offerings. The pricing is also more reasonable than other platforms. You get more bang for your buck. What do you dislike about Eventzilla?

There is no phone number to call customer support. You have to email them. Sometimes if you're working on something that needs immediate attention, you want to speak with someone on the phone to get it resolved quickly. I found some of the attendee registration clunky and glitchy. I had several attendees that thought they regsitered but somehow their registration didn't go through. I wish the reporting and search functions were better so you could search by some of your form information without having to download a full list of attendees.
