EssentialPIM is one of the handiest and easiest to use personal information managers available for Windows PC. It features a built-in emal client, calendar, contact database, task manager and password repository, and multiple user profiles so you can keep your business and personal information separate. The user interface is easy to follow, attractive and logically laid out. It is easy to master the basics of the program quickly, and the advanced features of the PRO version help you to customize the program in many different ways depending on your needs and requirements. The PRO version, which is what I use, offers even more features, such as the ability to link emails to calendar, tasks and contact information, offline syncing and backup, attachment storage, sticky notes and more. The Pro version is also relatively inexpensive, is continually updated and actively supported. It also has an engaged online community forum that is very helpful and the author responds to suggestions for new features. Customer support is excellent. The author quickly responds to questions and problems. I use this program everyday for both personal and business information management needs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
This is a very good program and I have very little to criticize or complain about. There is one improvement that I believe would make the program a bit better and that is having a menu at startup that would allow the user to choose which profile to load. The program, as it works now, automatically opens the last profile used instead of allowing the user a choice of profiles on the front-end. When you want to use a different profile than the last one used at startup, you choose the desired profile from the Files menu, but the program doesn't instantly switch you to the new profile; instead, it syncs it with whatever servers you have set up, including CALDAV and CARDDAV servers and doesn't close the old profile until it's finished syncing. This can take a considerable legnth of time. That is my primary (and just about only) peeve about the program. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
