## Kinetic Reviews
  ### 1. Kinetic: the change we needed - the future we expected!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Connie C. | Systems Analyst, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 19, 2026

**What do you like best about Kinetic?**

Intuitive User Interface and efficiency in navigating the software makes for smooth workflow. The built in Help features are used by almost all our users which increases user knowledge and efficiency. The ability to export data quickly allows for deeper analysis when needed.

**What do you dislike about Kinetic?**

I dislike having to wait for all records to load on landing pages or having to manually load all records. It was hard to know what module was the right fit for us when determining our initial implementation SOW.

**What problems is Kinetic solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Kinetic has helped us to minimize the number of "silos" where software and data was stored and utilized. It also allowed us to have multiple companies under the same software and consolidate data.

  ### 2. Highly Customizable and Efficient, But Adoption Challenges Remain

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tracey P. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 20, 2026

**What do you like best about Kinetic?**

I like Kinetic for its ability to make jobs and parts move through the system faster and eliminate manual work. I really appreciate the ability to add additional features and customize as you grow, which is beneficial as our company evolves. Initially, we didn't need certain features, but as we expanded, we've been able to add components like forecasting, MRP, PO suggestions, and inventory management, which fit our company better.

**What do you dislike about Kinetic?**

It's hard to answer this question. The company is not using Kinetic the way I think it should be used. We are still having our process engineers create BOM and BOO. Also, our engineers do not use Kinetic. Our drawings are outside of the system, and we have not implemented the full use of MRP. Inventory management, MRP, RFQ, and MOM could benefit from improvement or proper implementation. According to my colleagues, the buy-in from the team was the hardest part of the setup, and we are still struggling with this part.

**What problems is Kinetic solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Kinetic makes jobs and parts move through the system faster and removes manual work.

  ### 3. Kinetic: Efficient System with Learning Curve

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** lisa c. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 19, 2026

**What do you like best about Kinetic?**

I really like how Kinetic is a great improvement from our old system for operating our manufacturing business. It provides visibility for planning and purchasing, as well as capacity and load for the shop. The interface is easy to train new employees on, which is very helpful. I also enjoy the streamlined part visibility and demand it offers. The time phase feature shows all the demand and need to cover customer orders, maintain minimums, and have safety stock.

**What do you dislike about Kinetic?**

We are having difficulty with doing both make to stock and make direct in the system, as well as issues with purchase order suggestions on products with expiration dates when we will use it up before the expiration date. It's hard for the employees to adapt to since we went from paper to computer interface.

**What problems is Kinetic solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Kinetic improves visibility for planning and purchasing, capacity, and load management. It streamlines part visibility and demand, helping cover customer orders and maintain safety stock. The interface is easy to train new employees on, making it a valuable tool for our manufacturing business.

  ### 4. Lightning-Fast Webview and Powerful Landing Page Search

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Electrical/Electronic Manufacturing | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 14, 2026

**What do you like best about Kinetic?**

The landing pages make is super easy to search for things based on way more criteria than was available in classic without creating a BAQ search. It is 1000 times faster in the webview than classic ever was.

**What do you dislike about Kinetic?**

I have noticed that on some screens the number of clicks to get a task done has actually increased. My users will surely complain about this.

**What problems is Kinetic solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Once you get the hang of Application Studio, it is easier to create good looking customizations. I for one appreciate this aspect since we have heavily customized screens and the classic version of these screens looks like someone just dropped some text boxes wherever they could fit. Oftentimes the person wouldn't set up the UD field correctly so the label ends up being epiLabel1. So we would just need to explain to the users that this box is for the end date or whatever the field is supposed to be.

  ### 5. Excellent UI/UX, Strong API Integrations, and Reliable Cloud Performance

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Manufacturing | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 14, 2026

**What do you like best about Kinetic?**

Kinetic has an excellent UI/UX overall, very similar to a webpage or MS product. The amount of integrations that are covered via API's, etc. are more than adequate and Epicor continues to work with other providers to incorporate them into their portfolio. The focus of late has been the integration of AI into their products. While we are subscribed to Prism for AI, we have not had the chance to utilize this just as of yet. Support/onboarding can be somewhat questionable at times, and you have to take initiative at times to fight for what your organization needs. Pricing I would say is on-par with most other products for what you get. With regards to performance, since moving to the Cloud interface we have been up 99% of the time with really only one issue.

**What do you dislike about Kinetic?**

At times, I have become frustrated with slow support and also the lack of investment from our CAM and a perceived disconnect between sales, licensing, and support.

**What problems is Kinetic solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Kinetic does a great job of helping us balance supply/demand requirements, inventory, and communications between sales and operations. The system is intuitive and easy to learn in my opinion. We upgraded from a recent Epicor product and have been Epicor customers for over 10 years so some of the same benefits in a fresh updated package are welcomed.

  ### 6. Streamlines Purchasing but Setup Was Challenging

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shannon A. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 20, 2026

**What do you like best about Kinetic?**

I like how Kinetic makes purchasing much easier for day-to-day usage. I also appreciate the ease of use for daily activities. I value the purchasing module, as it aligns with my function. It's great for report viewing, PO issuing, and the ease of lookup when searching for pest information.

**What do you dislike about Kinetic?**

Things that I find that could be more useful would be there seems to be error messages on orders being updated by somebody else when there has been no update done on a PO is one of the things I think could be updated. The initial setup was a little bit complicated. That was due to our management not taking Epicor support help in the process.

**What problems is Kinetic solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Kinetic for machine building, making purchasing easier and simplifying day-to-day tasks. Its purchasing module helps with report viewing, PO issuing, and information lookup.

  ### 7. Customizable ERP with Powerful Features but Room for UI Improvement

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Krunal T. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 20, 2026

**What do you like best about Kinetic?**

I like Kinetic because it greatly assists in the production process and offers seamless data processing. The configurator and the ability to customize things using the Application Studio, BPM, and BAQ is something I really appreciate. We can make small dashboard changes ourselves without needing to raise a ticket, which is very convenient. Kinetic's all-in-one functionality and the improvement in the manufacturing process are also significant benefits that made us switch from Acumatica.

**What do you dislike about Kinetic?**

It needs to give shipping estimates in quote and better interface. I want a user interface that searches parts without clicking many times. Also, the initial setup wasn't that easy.

**What problems is Kinetic solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Kinetic for production processes and seamless data processing. It allows for customization without needing support tickets, which speeds up changes. It's better for manufacturing and integrates all functionalities in one.

  ### 8. Flexible ERP with Customization, Cloud Migration Challenges

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Daniel N. | ERP Product Configurator Specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 16, 2026

**What do you like best about Kinetic?**

I really find the BOM system in Kinetic to be very good. I appreciate the system's flexibility, especially important for us as a manufacturer with various ways to produce goods. Additionally, I like the ability to customize the UI and set business rules through BPMs, which adds to its effectiveness and utility.

**What do you dislike about Kinetic?**

Kinetic has undergone some major changes over the recent years, like retiring the Classic UI and planning to retire On Premise by 2028 to be cloud-only. This presents migration challenges for existing customers. I wish they would reverse the decision to go cloud-only since some of us prefer to be on premise. Also, the initial setup requires a lot of training. Recommend working with skilled consultants or the Epicor technical team.

**What problems is Kinetic solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Kinetic provides a full ERP suite including quoting, ordering, BOM, inventory, and invoicing. Its BOM system is very good with lots of UI customization and business rule settings, crucial for our diverse manufacturing needs.

  ### 9. Customizable but Prone to Glitches

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sarah I. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 19, 2026

**What do you like best about Kinetic?**

I like that Kinetic is fully customizable. I also appreciate the opportunity to create dashboards and perform mass audits. As a custom manufacturer with hundreds of jobs and parts that differ daily, the optionality to match custom requests with custom responses is valuable to me.

**What do you dislike about Kinetic?**

Kinetic glitches a lot and is not equipped with the basics without an upgrade. Many options regarding resources are required and unable to change. There is no way to relate subassemblies on a job, only resources. The initial setup was difficult due to it being the first master system.

**What problems is Kinetic solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Kinetic for master scheduling and planning. It solves level loading and shop floor planning issues, and it lets us match custom job requests with custom responses, which is crucial for us as a custom manufacturer.

  ### 10. Comprehensive Solution with continuous Improvement

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ryan M. | Technology Director, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 19, 2026

**What do you like best about Kinetic?**

I like that Kinetic is an all-in-one system that helps me with planning, jobs, shipping, and invoicing in my daily Quote to Cash process. I value the MRP and application studio features the most, as they contribute significantly to my workflow. Despite a tedious upgrade process from version 10.1 to 2024, with extensive customizations, I am happy with the results.

**What do you dislike about Kinetic?**

I don't like how in version 2024.1 there's no easy way to disassemble and return a product and its components back to raw stock. The migration process was involved, and our upgrade to 2024 from 10.1 was tedious due to extensive customizations. Trying to make everything fit in the normal box took lots of work.

**What problems is Kinetic solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Kinetic for planning, jobs, shipping, and invoicing. It works well as an all-in-one system.

  ### 11. Accelerates Financial Closes, But Challenging Onboarding

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** alex b. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 19, 2026

**What do you like best about Kinetic?**

I like that Kinetic helps me close financials faster, which has made a big difference in my work. We used to take 45 days to close, but with Kinetic, we've managed to bring that down to just 15 days. The integration with operations also stands out for me as a valuable feature of Kinetic. I also find the data aspect of Kinetic to be beneficial.

**What do you dislike about Kinetic?**

Kinetic is not very user-friendly, especially for new users; you really need to know the process to navigate. If you don't run certain menus, you can't close, which can be frustrating. The initial setup was difficult, and it took 2 years to onboard.

**What problems is Kinetic solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Kinetic helps integrate our finance with operations and allows us to close financials faster, reducing the process from 45 days to 15.

  ### 12. Streamlines Quality and Finance Tasks, Minor Learning Curve

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kelly R. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Kinetic?**

I like how the RMA process on the quality side helps streamline the process. On the finance side, Kinetic keeps all of the accounting records clean and accurate. I appreciate that all of the data is stored in one local area because you don't have to remember where all data is stored, and it's convenient to use one platform with all of the data linked.

**What do you dislike about Kinetic?**

I'm still learning the screens in the Kinetic view versus classic, and print previewing certain screens is a challenge at times.

**What problems is Kinetic solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Kinetic streamlines the RMA process on the quality side and keeps accounting records clean and accurate on the finance side. Data is stored in one local area, so I don't have to remember where everything is; it's all linked in one platform.

  ### 13. If we could go back in time and pick a different ERP, we would

**Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dave O. | consultant, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 19, 2026

**What do you like best about Kinetic?**

People can find information if they know where to look.

**What do you dislike about Kinetic?**

It is way too complicated for a small business, which causes unintended mapping and results. Epicor is a poor business partner. Once they get you hooked, you can't extract yourself. They have regular price increases and consistently change the product and leave you, the user, to figure out the implications going forward and adjusting your operations to work within the parameters they changed.

**What problems is Kinetic solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It tracks parts and costs in some fashion but does not suit our business model well at all.

  ### 14. Efficient Planning with Room for Reporting Improvement

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Leora D. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Kinetic?**

I like the time phase feature in Kinetic because it helps me see parts that may be short and allows me to check if a purchase order has been placed, along with providing job suggestions. Additionally, I appreciate the ability to create jobs easily.

**What do you dislike about Kinetic?**

There is not a report that shows linked jobs to lines on a sales order, making it time-consuming to have to drill down into jobs or sales orders to find the information needed. Transferring data and validation was extremely difficult and time-consuming.

**What problems is Kinetic solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Kinetic helps with production planning and job creation. The time phase feature lets me see parts that may be short and if a PO has been placed, along with job suggestions, simplifying my planning tasks.

  ### 15. Streamlined Operations, High Customization Effort

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Anne Y. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Kinetic?**

I really like Kinetic for its ease of use and its ability to ensure consistency across our sites. In a multi-company, multi-site organization, being able to maintain a single system with consistent input and look at data across all locations is incredibly valuable. It helps us in reviewing KPIs and keeps the company moving forward.

**What do you dislike about Kinetic?**

We have a number of customizations and the time and effort to upgrade are somewhat difficult. We tend to run behind on major updates for this reason.

**What problems is Kinetic solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Kinetic for the quote to cash process. It controls data and streamlines operations, ensuring ease of use and consistency across sites. This helps maintain a single system, aiding in reviewing KPIs and driving the company forward.

  ### 16. Highly Customizable with BPMs, BAQ Reports & Personalization

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Muhammad S. | IT Administrator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 14, 2026

**What do you like best about Kinetic?**

It can be customized to fit your needs by using BPMs and functions and other tools like BAQ Reports & Personalization.

**What do you dislike about Kinetic?**

Being able to seamlessly connect with the banking system would be really helpful—for example, AI receipt OCR that reads receipts and automatically inserts the bills into the financial system. Right now, this takes a lot of manual work. Automatic bank reconciliation would also make a big difference, especially since it’s part of the base financial products in many other softwares.

**What problems is Kinetic solving and how is that benefiting you?**

A tightly integrated Quote-to-Cash experience.

  ### 17. Highly Customizable ERP with Streamlined Implementation

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alec M. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 19, 2026

**What do you like best about Kinetic?**

I like how customizable Kinetic is. We can tailor it to our processes, branding, and needs. It helps us streamline operations by simplifying screens and shows our company's branding, which I think is a nice touch. Also, using consultants during the setup took a lot of work off our shoulders, allowing us to continue running the business.

**What do you dislike about Kinetic?**

The GovCloud offering is a step behind the main product which has slowed adoption where CMMC or like certs are needed to operate.

**What problems is Kinetic solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Kinetic helps us track our sales flow, providing insights into the machine floor. It's customizable, allowing us to tailor it to our processes and display our branding, which streamlines operations without forcing us to change our workflows.

  ### 18. Efficient ERP with Convenient Navigation

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** garrett b. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 19, 2026

**What do you like best about Kinetic?**

I like that I can get to almost any screen by right-clicking in Kinetic, which cuts down the time searching for answers, whether that is a PO, production job, packing slip, etc. I also enjoy the personalizations. The initial setup was fairly easy, and this ease of use has really benefited our team.

**What do you dislike about Kinetic?**

I dislike the lack of a three-way match on invoices. We have paid for the solution but do not use it because it doesn't include that feature.

**What problems is Kinetic solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Kinetic for ERP solutions in purchasing and planning. It processes MRP nightly to meet material requirements, cuts down time searching for answers like POs, and allows right-click access to screens, saving time.

  ### 19. All-In-One Solution with Great Customization

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Kinetic?**

I use Kinetic to handle various activities such as quoting, entering sales orders, production with product revisions, purchasing, shipping, paying suppliers, invoicing customers, and managing cash flow. I appreciate that it integrated most of our activities into one system, allowing everyone to share and access the same information from one source instead of relying on different ones. I also find it very complete, as it integrates every aspect of the logistic chain and is well-suited for the size of our company. I particularly appreciate how customizable it is, which allows us to tailor it to better fit our needs. We were also able to link the data to our BI and other satellite software without having to recreate everything when we moved to Kinetic. Overall, it provides one official source for our data, especially the financial ones.

**What do you dislike about Kinetic?**

The shipping part is underdeveloped and we had to develop our own system to manage this aspect.

**What problems is Kinetic solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Kinetic integrates our activities into one system, letting everyone access the same info, manage the cash flow, and link data to BI and other software without recreations.

  ### 20. Streamlined Procurement with Intuitive Interface

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Kinetic?**

I appreciate how Kinetic provides visibility and facilitates tasks in procurement. I can easily see the availability of material by using time phase, and I like the option to open different actions related to a part by using the right-click menu 'open with'. The interface allows me to access many areas of interest on the same screen, and overall, I think the system and interface are solid and user-friendly.

**What do you dislike about Kinetic?**

The challenges I currently have are more related to our particular environment in the organization. For example, I'm interested in how to improve the way we use APS, implement cycle counts, use the pre-BOM capabilities and integrate with our planning process. I want more control on material consumption and variances (material and labor). Our main challenge is related to the high level of customization that we have.

**What problems is Kinetic solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Kinetic for procurement; it provides visibility by showing material availability with time phase and facilitates tasks with a helpful right-click 'open with' menu.

  ### 21. Flexible and Powerful Tool for Manufacturing

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 19, 2026

**What do you like best about Kinetic?**

I like that Kinetic is flexible. I can add fields, behaviors, tasks as needed, which is really beneficial because it's impossible for a single ERP product to meet every need a business will have. Kinetic's flexibility allows us to create fields as needed, like tracking vendor certifications such as AS9100 and ISO9001. It's straightforward to keep track of new information with just a bit of administration.

**What do you dislike about Kinetic?**

Certain features of Kinetic's project management do not work well with its manufacturing capabilities. For instance, planning a job to nest inside another job becomes problematic for cost plus projects because Kinetic does not handle invoice generation for the nested job well. This limitation is quite bothersome. Additionally, I'd love more control over the HTTP response from Kinetic functions. The current setup wraps files in headers incorrectly, limiting how files are displayed in browsers and reducing the tool's potential power.

**What problems is Kinetic solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I find Kinetic runs several manufacturing companies, manages their production, and handles accounting. It supports process management like procure to pay. Its flexibility allows me to add fields as needed, which is essential for tracking things like AS9100 and ISO9001 vendor certifications.

  ### 22. Intuitive Interface with Customizable Dashboards, Needs Better Support

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 19, 2026

**What do you like best about Kinetic?**

I find the new Kinetic interface easy to adapt to from the Classic interface. It's very customizable to meet our various needs. The new design is way more intuitive, and I spend less time hunting for what I need. If I can't find something, it's usually in the overflow menu.

**What do you dislike about Kinetic?**

We just upgraded from 2022.2 to 2024.2 and there are certain things that don't work exactly like I believe they should, and the response from support has just been 'well you just need to upgrade' - that's frustrating, because we just upgraded, so it will probably be a little while until we upgrade again. One example is sorting in Change Log - it sorts by month, like October 2025, October 2026, November 2025, November 2026 instead of chronologically.

**What problems is Kinetic solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Kinetic to automate BAQ reports, which helps me monitor the system for data entry mistakes and send customers automated inventory reports weekly.

  ### 23. No real value to upgrading to Kinetic for us right now.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Furniture | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 19, 2026

**What do you like best about Kinetic?**

More opportunities to learn new third party programming ways to run and create processes. Not much else. I'm really a big fan of Kinetic at all and don't see much need to update to it.

**What do you dislike about Kinetic?**

The form layout is very large and the scrolling that you have to do to find things and the tabs you have to open to see things is cumbersome. The forms need to be more compact and easier to find all of the data together. Spreading the fields out just seems ridiculous to me and all of the extra scrolling is not something that anyone I've talked to likes.

**Recommendations to others considering Kinetic:**

Talk to Customers who have been using it for a while. Key users who know the ins and outs of Epicor. Check out the e10help.com site.

**What problems is Kinetic solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's not solving anything for us. We are dragging our feet to go to it because the old forms in E10 were MUCH better. Maybe it will be nice to run it in a browser but ONLY if our Customizations work. We are highly customized in our forms and processes with C# programming and our people rely on these customizations daily to do their jobs. I don't see a real benefit for us to go to Kinetic unless the forms were more compact and easier to read and use. Ask your customers if they would prefer that over the way that Kinetic is designed right now.

  ### 24. Kinetic: Easy Navigation, Superior to Oracle & SAP

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Marcelo F. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 20, 2026

**What do you like best about Kinetic?**

I like how easy it is to use and navigate Kinetic, which definitely makes my tasks smoother. I also appreciate the possibility to schedule reports, as it saves a lot of time. Having used Kinetic for over 20 years, I find it much better than Oracle and SAP, and I highly recommend it to my friends or colleagues.

**What do you dislike about Kinetic?**

The financial reports using FP&A should provide real-time information. Syncing overnight isn't a modern solution for most companies.

**What problems is Kinetic solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Kinetic to manage my finance department and boost company profitability. I like its ease of use and navigation, plus the ability to schedule reports, which saves a lot of time.

  ### 25. Comprehensive and Customizable, but Setup Is Challenging

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 20, 2026

**What do you like best about Kinetic?**

I like the endless possibilities as a user being able to create dashboards and BPMs to help streamline information inside the system. Creating dashboards allows me to quickly grab important business-critical information on Sales Kits, BOM, and confirmation of quantity on hand to know I can sell the product off the shelf.

**What do you dislike about Kinetic?**

The salvage process is challenging when we get a product returned on a RMA. Breaking down the components and trying to keep them back into inventory is an issue. Also, the initial setup of Kinetic was rough, it was a bit of a culture shock for the company. We still need time to get back to basics inside the organization and realign company expectations.

**What problems is Kinetic solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Kinetic gives me a detailed view of our workplace, streamlines information, and lets me create dashboards to access critical data quickly, supporting sales by confirming inventory availability.

  ### 26. Customizable Dashboards and Real-Time Data; Needs Better Grid Functionality

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 19, 2026

**What do you like best about Kinetic?**

I like Kinetic for its ease of customizations and its effectiveness in writing dashboards. It's great for business process customization. I appreciate the updatable dashboards and how they streamline data entry across multiple lines, removing tedious work and ensuring data integrity by minimizing data entry errors. I also enjoy being able to personalize data views easily.

**What do you dislike about Kinetic?**

Not all grid views allow for copy/paste, particularly on some of the landing pages. It would be great to have the ability to mass update on landing pages such as job entry and sale order entry, as some fields are already in the data views. The initial setup was somewhat long-winded, requiring many decisions about configurations.

**What problems is Kinetic solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Kinetic provides cost visibility and real-time data. Updatable dashboards streamline data entry across multiple lines, removing tedious work and ensuring data integrity by minimizing errors. It's great for customizing business processes.

  ### 27. Ease of Use with Powerful MRP, Reporting Needs Improvement

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jen W. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 19, 2026

**What do you like best about Kinetic?**

I like Kinetic because of its ease of use, which makes my tasks smoother. I love the MRP functionality, which significantly aids my work. The business activity designer is another great feature I enjoy, as it allows for quick data discovery, making it an invaluable tool for our operations.

**What do you dislike about Kinetic?**

I don't like the reporting service. It keeps breaking and will not upload reports. Also, the initial setup of Kinetic was difficult.

**What problems is Kinetic solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Kinetic for inventory, accounting, and sales management. I love its ease of use, especially the MRP and the business activity designer that allows for quick data discovery.

  ### 28. Effortlessly Manages Inventory and Orders

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 20, 2026

**What do you like best about Kinetic?**

I really like how Kinetic helps me find discrepancies in my inventory, dig into order history, and compare suppliers. The action logs are a useful feature because they let me figure out who made changes, when, and why. I also appreciate that it allows me to create one order with multiple projects and multiple ship-tos, which gives me flexibility in managing orders.

**What do you dislike about Kinetic?**

I would like to be able to drop ship from vendor to vendor not just to customer. I would also like to keep the connection from the parts on the fly to the PO even if I have to alter the line.

**What problems is Kinetic solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Kinetic helps me find discrepancies in inventory, dig into order history, and compare suppliers. It also lets me check action logs, track changes, and manage multiple projects and ship-tos in a single order.

  ### 29. Seamless Integration, Needs UI Improvement

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 19, 2026

**What do you like best about Kinetic?**

I like that Kinetic integrates all of our systems seamlessly in one place, which is really convenient. We can customize it for our needs, which is a huge plus. The field service module is beneficial too, as all of our field service work is linked back to customers and assets and shows up in our financials.

**What do you dislike about Kinetic?**

I find the user interface feels like a DOS prompt at times. Compared to our old field service software, Salesforce, Kinetic doesn't have the modern UI and ease of searching or creating reports effortlessly. The initial setup felt somewhat painful for the company, though relatively easy for IT.

**What problems is Kinetic solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Kinetic manages all our background systems, acts as the source of truth by holding data, integrates all systems seamlessly, and links field service work to customers and assets in our financials.

  ### 30. Customizable and User-Friendly, Needs Better Data Access

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Josh L. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 19, 2026

**What do you like best about Kinetic?**

I run our manufacturing plants using Kinetic, and I like the customization and ease of use it offers. It's effective for running our schedules, quotes, and orders. Kinetic is easy to use right out of the box and can be customized when needed. Setting it up was also easy.

**What do you dislike about Kinetic?**

I feel like access to data could be improved. It would be better if a data lake or warehouse was included as part of the system, rather than being an add-on.

**What problems is Kinetic solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Kinetic for running our manufacturing plants effectively, especially for managing schedules, quotes, and orders effortlessly.

  ### 31. Streamlined Customization with Minor Loading Issues

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 20, 2026

**What do you like best about Kinetic?**

I really like Kinetic's new customization interface; it's easier to make new customizations now. I also love the Functions feature because it eliminates a lot of BPM collision, making things much smoother.

**What do you dislike about Kinetic?**

The ease of use with Kinetic feels a bit clumsy. Loading the Kinetic screens can hang or not show up, causing the need to reload multiple times. Some screens unnecessarily require the classic form to be loaded, like Engineering Workbench > Express checkout, making the user go back to the classic view. Screens occasionally stop loading and leave a blank screen, forcing the user to cancel and reload. Kinetic screens should be less laggy when making changes.

**What problems is Kinetic solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I find Kinetic's customization interface user-friendly, making it easier to eliminate BPM collision with Functions. However, loading screens can hang, requiring reloads, which affects efficiency.

  ### 32. Highly Customizable, but Implementation Bugs Can Get in the Way

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ty P. | Infrastructure Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 20, 2026

**What do you like best about Kinetic?**

The customizability, the support, the access to support groups

**What do you dislike about Kinetic?**

Some of the implementation can be buggy, the MES really just pulls up kinetic so licensing can cause errors, the licening for add on programs locks you in for 3 years without a trial period to see if we would actually use it, users generally have to do many more clicks to do simple tasks, more of the detail fields and grids should be able to access the part and jobhead tables

**What problems is Kinetic solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We had to switch to a new ERP system due to EOL of old system

  ### 33. Streamlined Our Processes with Customizability and Unmatched Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 19, 2026

**What do you like best about Kinetic?**

I've been using Kinetic ERP for the past two years, and it has really streamlined our processes and given us visibility that we never had before. I love that it's customizable for the end user experience. It's also great because it can be successfully used by computer-savvy users and those just starting out with systems. The implementation was smooth, thanks to great consultants who helped us set it up on time and under budget. I've been a fan of the company for over a decade across two different companies, and I rate the likelihood of recommending Kinetic as a 10 out of 10.

**What do you dislike about Kinetic?**

we would like more consistency with the naming convention of modules and field names

**What problems is Kinetic solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Kinetic has streamlined our processes, given us unprecedented visibility, and solved our inventory visibility issues.

  ### 34. Reliable Functionality but Setup Woes

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Christopher L. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Kinetic?**

I like the functionality and reliability of Kinetic. Its future direction into cognitive ERP seems very promising.

**What do you dislike about Kinetic?**

Epicor Help is terrible, especially field help. Learning tools are getting better but still have much to be desired. Many of the bolt-on softwares have been problematic and tough to resolve or find support to help resolve. The initial setup was terrible due to a rushed implementation with a very poor SI in Epicenter, which is why we are currently re-implementing.

**What problems is Kinetic solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Kinetic for a consolidated single source of truth to run the business.

  ### 35. Customizable but Needs a Smoother Scheduling Experience

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Eliot C. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 19, 2026

**What do you like best about Kinetic?**

I appreciate Kinetic for its high customization, which helps us achieve throughput at our current volume. I like the customizable interface and find the scheduling engine beneficial, even though it's not perfect.

**What do you dislike about Kinetic?**

I believe the scheduling boards are a bit clunky to use, especially with cascading down levels of a BOM. Having to load operation schedule changes one at a time can be pretty clunky as well.

**What problems is Kinetic solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The high customization in Kinetic helps us achieve throughput at our current volume. I also like the customizable interface and scheduling engine, despite its imperfections.

  ### 36. The only real solution for custom made to order products.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Richard T. | Vice President, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 14, 2026

**What do you like best about Kinetic?**

I like the explorer view in Kinetic where I can quickly see all aspects from quote to order to shipment and invoice. It makes tracking and getting information about quote to cash simple. It's a great product.

**What do you dislike about Kinetic?**

There are many glitches that Epicor refuses to fix. A good example is the undo button that has never worked. It was fairly complicated and we hired a consultant to help us.

**What problems is Kinetic solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Kinetic manages all aspects of our business—financial, scheduling, planning, and manufacturing. The explorer view simplifies tracking from quote to cash, making information easy to access.

  ### 37. Comprehensive Financial Management with Minor Data Entry Hiccups

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kelley P. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 19, 2026

**What do you like best about Kinetic?**

I really like Kinetic's user experience and the multitude of data fields it tracks. This feature allows me to review and evaluate trends that help my company make informed decisions. Additionally, the UAT testing was a breeze.

**What do you dislike about Kinetic?**

The simple data entry could be improved. I wish Kinetic had screens that are easy to customize to allow for quicker data entry.

**What problems is Kinetic solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Kinetic helps us track what we owe and are owed, which is crucial for daily operations. The diverse data fields allow us to review trends, supporting informed decision-making.

  ### 38. Fast and User-Friendly ERP with Minor Customization Challenges

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** steve W. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 19, 2026

**What do you like best about Kinetic?**

I like using Kinetic because it is fast and easy to learn. The search function is great, especially since new users often don't know what to look for. The help screens are really useful too.

**What do you dislike about Kinetic?**

Product Development. We have a unique way of designing projects and filters. Most of our designs are variable, which makes it difficult because the user makes a lot of the choices. The initial setup was difficult because we had a lot of customizations.

**What problems is Kinetic solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Kinetic enables us to track our billing and shipping effectively.

  ### 39. A Versatile Tool with Customization Power

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** April G. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Kinetic?**

I like how easy to use the features are for end users in Kinetic. I really like the BPM designer and the BAQ designer. Being able to customize and utilize customizations and reporting data for myself is helpful.

**What do you dislike about Kinetic?**

Application Studio is still somewhat klunky. A more intuitive design would be fantastic. It would be nice to be able to see the different features on the fly.

**What problems is Kinetic solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Kinetic helps us with an audit trail in accounting and allows us to manufacture our emergency vehicles with job management.

  ### 40. Powerful and Customizable

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** woosung n. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 19, 2026

**What do you like best about Kinetic?**

I really like Kinetic's clean, modern interface and its powerful customization options. It provides highly detailed, real-time data and analytics that make tracking performance seamless and efficient.

**What do you dislike about Kinetic?**

The software has a steep learning curve and a complex setup process that can be overwhelming for beginners. It requires a lot of initial training to fully utilize.

**What problems is Kinetic solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Kinetic benefits us by providing complete, real-time visibility from raw steel coils to final pipe shipment, allowing us to see exact job profitability instantly while automating our strict quality compliance audits.

  ### 41. Smooth Production, Challenging Reporting

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 19, 2026

**What do you like best about Kinetic?**

I like how Kinetic makes production processes run smoother and allows for easy tracking and reviewing of costs. I also appreciate the planning and scheduling features.

**What do you dislike about Kinetic?**

The reporting is difficult for typical users. BAQs seem to be more fitting for developers to create. Small businesses don't have IT to help with these reports. Simple reports should be more accessible for users to make simple modifications. The initial setup was a lot of work and required a lot of time from our employees. Without an IT team, it was a burden for our users, but they made it work.

**What problems is Kinetic solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Kinetic for financial data, production planning, and cost review. It helps the plant run smoother and makes cost tracking and review easier.

  ### 42. Scalable Solution with Customization Needs

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Hunter P. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Kinetic?**

I really like the capabilities of Kinetic and how we're able to grow into it instead of out of it. I also appreciate being able to create our own dashboards and utilize BAQs effectively.

**What do you dislike about Kinetic?**

Some of our production aspects differ from what Kinetic is set up for, so we have to have many customizations. The initial setup wasn't very easy due to the amount of customizations we had to complete to fit our business.

**What problems is Kinetic solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Kinetic solves scheduling and shop overview issues for me.

  ### 43. Versatile Tool with too many Complex Training Needs

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 20, 2026

**What do you like best about Kinetic?**

I like that Kinetic keeps all my work stuff in one place. I appreciate the BAQs and dashboards, as analyzing data is key for improvement, although I wish they were a bit easier to use.

**What do you dislike about Kinetic?**

There are too many ways to do each thing on Kinetic, which makes training hard. I wish there were clearly defined methods to perform actions. If there were only one correct way to do things, there would only need to be one training session. Also, it's too expensive to keep paying for each new connection to other software. The initial setup of Kinetic was horrible.

**What problems is Kinetic solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Kinetic keeps all my work stuff in one place, and using BAQs and dashboards helps in measuring and analyzing data.

  ### 44. Extremely Slow Performance and Atrocious Support

**Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 20, 2026

**What do you like best about Kinetic?**

I enjoy logging out of Kinetic and being done using it.

**What do you dislike about Kinetic?**

I find Kinetic to be quite slow, especially when scheduling application dashboards—it's actually the slowest part of the process for me. The customer service is atrocious; even after spending thousands on insights and expert talks, it feels like they just want you to go away and submit a ticket, which is frustrating. Weeks go by without a response to submitted tickets, making the experience pretty negative overall. Also, the initial setup isn't done correctly, so I'm not quite sure about its ease or rating, maybe a five. It just makes my job the least enjoyable.

**What problems is Kinetic solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Kinetic doesn't solve many problems for me. It's the slowest part of the process.

  ### 45. Reliable Solution for Streamlining Business Processes

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Metesh P. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 19, 2026

**What do you like best about Kinetic?**

I find Kinetic easy to learn, which is really convenient. The BAQs work well for us, and we rely on them to create lots of reports and automate many others. Despite some initial challenges with stakeholder commitment, the initial setup of Kinetic was easy, and once we had full commitment, the transition was smooth.

**What do you dislike about Kinetic?**

the new automated studio is still feels a little complicated. Maybe finding a way to simplify it

**What problems is Kinetic solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Kinetic for tracking our business processes from end to end.

  ### 46. Highly Customizable, Great Connectivity

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 19, 2026

**What do you like best about Kinetic?**

I do rest API integration with external apps, and I find the integration capabilities really helpful. The robust REST API is great, and I appreciate the documentation and the ability to inspect Epicor screens to see what services are being called. It also seemed like the best fit among the products we evaluated, particularly because it's cloud-based and allows for customization to fit our needs. Additionally, the initial setup was not too bad.

**What do you dislike about Kinetic?**

It would be nice to add something like field-level help that displays which REST services are used on a page in Epicor.

**What problems is Kinetic solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Kinetic helps us connect systems, preventing duplicate data. I appreciate the robot REST API's documentation and the ability to inspect Epicor screens for service calls.

  ### 47. Data-Driven Decisions Made Easy

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brian R. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 19, 2026

**What do you like best about Kinetic?**

I like the amount of data that Kinetic puts at my fingertips. It's easy to analyze parts or situations and make informed decisions on how to process the data.

**What do you dislike about Kinetic?**

The user interface is not as clean and understanding as the classic screens. The initial setup was not easy because our data and processes are very intricate and specialized.

**What problems is Kinetic solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Kinetic helps with bills of material and provides easy access to data, enabling me to analyze parts or situations and make informed decisions.

  ### 48. Comprehensive ERP Solution, Minor Setup Challenges

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 19, 2026

**What do you like best about Kinetic?**

I like the interface and availability of modules in Kinetic. The MES system and product configurator are particularly valuable to me as they allow the whole system production process to be easily mapped. I appreciate the robust process and the availability of modules, which were a motivating factor for switching from Acumatica to Kinetic.

**What do you dislike about Kinetic?**

I thought that shipment quote in the quote module is not present and we need it, so it won't work if there is no quote. It was kind of hard initially to set up.

**What problems is Kinetic solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Kinetic for manufacturing process mapping and MRP. The MES system and product configurator help map the whole production process easily. I like the interface and availability of modules.

  ### 49. Good

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nichol E. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 19, 2026

**What do you like best about Kinetic?**

We are new to Kinetic, and I am new to manufacturing and never used an ERP.

From what I’ve seen so far the customization ability and connectivity with third parties are both wonderful abilities.

**What do you dislike about Kinetic?**

Haven’t seen enough of Kinetic yet to really give a dislike

**What problems is Kinetic solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It’s bring out company into the present with a modern ERP application that will go far
In helping us automate many of our current manual processes that our current ERP apparently is unable to do.

  ### 50. Effortless Sales Tracking with Limited Customization

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 20, 2026

**What do you like best about Kinetic?**

I use Kinetic for sales order management and tracking because it allows me to easily view our sales orders in real time and track status from the time of entry to invoice and shipment. I like that it is easy to use, and I can quickly find what I'm looking for.

**What do you dislike about Kinetic?**

Some of the reporting features on the sales end are challenging, and don't provide all the detail I would like. It is difficult if not impossible to modify the reports to get the information I need without paying for separate customization through FP&A for example.

**What problems is Kinetic solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Kinetic allows me to easily view our sales orders in real time and track status from entry to invoice and shipment.
