# Is Notified Investor Relations Websites worth it for a public company that needs a full investor relations website builder with integrated press release distribution, or does ACCESS Newswire cover enough for the content distribution side at lower cost?

Notified Investor Relations Websites (4.6/5, 79 reviews) has reviewers with real IR titles, a VP of Investor Relations and an FP&A & Investor Relations manager among them, describing a dedicated account manager who handles updates and proactively reaches out before earnings releases. Per G2's own category data, its customer base is concentrated in enterprise and mid-market financial services and biotech. The tradeoff is a dated design flagged in a few reviews and a review pool that hasn't seen much recent activity.

ACCESS Newswire (4.3/5, 409 reviews) is built around press release distribution first, with IR website and disclosure services layered on. Per G2's FAQ, starter pricing runs around $714 and over 75% of its customers are small businesses. Reviewers consistently praise ease of use and reach, though several flag pricing creeping up over time and formatting limitations in the release templates themselves.

If distribution volume and price predictability matter more than a managed website relationship, ACCESS Newswire's lower entry point covers the core need.

Has anyone started on ACCESS Newswire for distribution and added a dedicated IR site later, or is that combination more painful to stitch together than starting with one vendor for both?

The way I think about it is that Notified is built for IR staff managing disclosure and ACCESS Newswire is built for PR teams distributing releases. They overlap but they're not really substitutes for each other. A company that needs both functions done properly is probably better off thinking about them as complements rather than picking one and hoping it covers the other's job.
