Having a place where I can compare results year over year is amazing. I also enjoy the relationship that I can build with my Customer Success Manager year over year. 

The dashboard is user friendly and easy to navigate as well.

I really dont have any negatives - The platform is everything I need.

We need to find areas where we can improve. We know we have a culture misalignment and Energage is helping us dig down to the root problem.

Setting up an employee survey through Energage is absolutely pain-free. I particularly appreciate the recommended reminder intervals and that they don't go to those who have already completed the survey.

**What do you dislike about Energage?**

Nothing I've experienced so far, this is my 2nd year using Energage.

3rd party reporting of employee engagement; employees are more trusting that anonymity is maintained when collection is at a remove.

**What do you like best about Energage?**

Energage's customer service is always ready to help. They are quick to respond and very helpful. Our representative is a phone call away and fixes problems immediately instead of putting them off. Energage's website is simple to use and user-friendly. The chat feature on the website connects me to an employee immediately, instead of a bot. Energage allows us to submit our results to qualify for the Star Tribune award every year.

**What do you dislike about Energage?**

Our first representative was difficult to work with and unavailable. A change to our survey wasn't implemented until I asked for a 2nd time. I was really disappointed that the demographic questions were asked and can't have access to them unless we pay for an extremely overpriced package.

**What problems is Energage solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Energage is helping to survey our employees in the most anonymous way possible and gives us clear and concise reports that are easy to understand. Our company enjoys using Energage because they produce quality results.

**What do you like best about Energage?**

Our Company has been working nonstop to achieve the employee engagement goals we have set, and to work with Christian hand to hand on this project, has been very helpful.  Our commitment is to keep our employees feeling they're appreciated, give them the best environment possible and assure them they're our most valuable asset at IGT to be the best and ahead in our Industry.

**What do you dislike about Energage?**

It took me a little to fully understand the work of the website, but once on board, the tech team was super helpful in guiding us to fix any bumps in the road. It would be of help to have a little more time ahead to communicate to the employees of the upcoming survey time to be engaged in the answer on a timely basis.

**Recommendations to others considering Energage:**

It is an excellent tool to provide accurate and specific information about the employees' engagement, culture, expectations, and more.

**What problems is Energage solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have been implementing quite a few new programs for the employees, as well as new policies, based on previous studies and surveys, and we wanted to make sure the results were really where we wanted them to be at this point. We realized the areas of concern came from a specific employee, which gave us a better map of how to fix it.

**What do you like best about Energage?**

Energage's annual engagement survey enables us to gather anonymous information from our employees to help improve our culture.  We've actively incorporated the data that we receive to make our organization better. It must be working because we've been a top workplace in the Philadelphia region for 3 years in a row. Also their customer support team is great!!

**What do you dislike about Energage?**

The pulse survey section still needs work   I want a system that I can customize the wording of the rankings, create yes/no questions if I want and be able to order the sequence of questions so they make sense to me.  I want to add skip logic so people who answer one way to a question can skip over a question to the next question. Changes were made to the pulse survey section so that it really doesn't work for me now.  I've stopped using it and moved to google forms instead

**Recommendations to others considering Energage:**

Energage is great at providing insights to companies on how to improve their culture and compare with other organizations in the region.  The pulse survey section doesn't meet the needs of my organization.  But the customer service team is great!

Just using energage for the regional best places to work.  We do take the feedback form these surveys and address to help improve the organization

I received quick responses to questions; the dashboard has easy-to-understand metrics and excellent customer service.

Nothing really, everything was great, and I don't have any concerns.

**What do you like best about Energage?**

The survey was seamless and intuitive to set up.  Really helped me gather priceless information on our engagement levels.  The help with solutions in our problem areas was amazing.  Also loved that Energage prepares presentations and one-sheets for communicating to the Leadership Team and the company.  Also felt comfortable knowing that the survey remained anonymous.  Also loved the year over year and B2B benchmarking!

**What do you dislike about Energage?**

I would have liked to have a little more flexibility with question design, but understand the reasoning behind the limitations.

**Recommendations to others considering Energage:**

Make sure that you purchase the in-depth results!  They are so valuable to the leadership and to the company.  Any survey is useless unless you follow up with the company on the results and solutions.

**What do you like best about Energage?**

I liked the organization of the survey and the ability to add your own questions.  I do like how Energage offers pulse surveys to take throughout the year to see if improvements have been felt by employees.  The follow up is nice to do without having to do another full blown survey.  I will say the survey was not very time consuming which helped increase participation.  Our company had the highest participation rate using Energage than any other survey we offered in the past.

**What do you dislike about Energage?**

Even though the survey is anonymous, there were a lot of complaints about having to enter information such as department, gender, salary, etc..  I am sure this information is needed if you are wanting to analyze the results in a certain way but it was not well received.

**What problems is Energage solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are hoping the surveys we present to our employees will help us improve company culture and help build our brand.  Building our brand is important to us as we want to be able to attract people to come work for us.

I like the transparency the survey offers on multiple levels and the always prompt service received.

Nothing really. I just wish I had more time to dig deeper into the survey results with all the tools and resources provided.

This clearly offers us more transparency, paving the way to where we need to go and what we need to do in terms of continuous improvement.

**What do you like best about Energage?**

Very easy to use! We use Energage for surveying our employees for the Top Workplaces awards, and Energage makes it very easy every step of the way. Creating a company profile page has a lot of great features as well.

**What do you dislike about Energage?**

Not so much a 'dislike' but we don't have all the features turned on, so we don't get access to all the dashboards and features.

We are able to enter for Top Workplaces awards and do promotion of our company for job seekers. We've had a lot of luck with potential candidates finding our company information and they have found it useful as they apply for positions with us.

There is a lot of excellent reporting within the platform. The results are easy to understand, and we have gained valuable insight into how we are doing as managers.

**What do you dislike about Energage?**

There isn't an option for small departments (under 5) to get survey results.

We have a better understanding of what our employees want - formal training and more meaningful jobs. We have been able to improve on both. We have also seen an increase in our appreciation scores due to the survey data.

Having preponderated tools for communication and scheduled reminders. The tech support was quick.

**What do you dislike about Energage?**

That some of the tools were not easily updated and we needed to go to a tech to update and ask questions.  Some of the statements were a bit abrupt, but do not know if it was meant to be. The scheduling of the notices were programmed in a strange way that required a tech to reset, was not smooth, even though the tech responses were quick, so that was good.

Simple and easy, but you cannot change questions.

The rep took some time to respond to us, but no problems.  Benefits are confirming past surveys that were done recently.

Energage helps us to understand  how our team members feel about the organization and is a great barometer for how we are doing as leaders.

**What do you dislike about Energage?**

The only downside experienced this year was during the setup and launch of the survey. The survey link gave error messages on the launch date of the survey which was frustrating for our team.

**What problems is Energage solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Taking the pulse of an organization is vital to longterm success. By understanding the positives and negatives from the perspective of our team, we have been able to implement different strategies to address common concerns. Listening to the team and making changes, even if they are small, leads to greater team member satisfaction in the future.

I'm can't think of any downside.  Possibly a reduced cost however, we understand the cost of services provided.

I would recommend Energage to any employer who wants to improve engagement and productivity.

Engagement and communication.  We have already begun addressing employee concerns one at a time in weekly meetings.  One benefit I have already noticed is that morale seems boosted as a result of acknowledging concerns and concerns are resolved when we explain why we made certain decisions (Sometimes, employees are concerned because they don't understand everything that is considered when decisions are made.  Once they understand, they are no longer concerned.) and communicate more clearly.   
    
Under 'Validation' below, there wasn't a an option for 'Manufacturing'.  We manufacture stainless steel smoker ovens and grills for commercial and residential use.

Like with any survey software, if people don't participate then you can't get the complete picture.

Great way to get your employee's engaged and suggest alternatives for the company. Gives employees confidentiality and keeps their answers secure.

Obtaining new suggestions from employees. Employees are more willing to speak up and share when asked and have the ability to keep their opinions anonymous.

A very easy to use survey management platform. I was able to use this to gauge employee engagement and submit our company for local awards.

**What do you dislike about Energage?**

You do have to purchase the product to get access to full data pulled from surveys, but this is to be expected. Otherwise, I liked this product and found it easy to learn and implement quickly.

**Recommendations to others considering Energage:**

It's a great product, but again, you will have to pay for full results packages. We were able to use an inexpensive version for submitting our company for awards, but didn't fully implement the entire product.

**What problems is Energage solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The only "problem" I experienced was that the survey stayed open and accessible for longer than had been planned. This may have just been user error on my part. But it was an effective way to get insight into company strengths and weakness in an easy to understand way.

Energage allows us to see the forward progress we are making over the years. We are able to see that our work is paying off based on employee responses. Although we don't pay for the detailed results, the summary snapshot is helpful. In addition to the outcomes, the survey process is simple and the online platform is very user friendly.

**What do you dislike about Energage?**

I dislike the cost of receiving the survey results. This is way to expensive for small non profits such as ours. It would be nice to see a handful of comments.

Being identified as a 'Top 100 Workplace' has allowed us to recruit qualified candidates over the years.

Be sure to fill in all the fields as part of your organization's set-up in the website.

Employee moral and engagement is always a challenge for any organization- especially with one our size, 1000 employees. Energage has helped us realize how to better communicate with our employees in a fun and genuine way.

The Energage team does not make you feel obligated to purchase employee feedback reports. The team is always there to support you and help when needed, without making you feel like you owe them anything more. 

**What do you dislike about Energage?**

It would be nice if there were options to purchase certain portions of the employee feedback results, as opposed to having to commit to purchasing the entire report for a lump sum.

Our employees enjoy being able to provide honest and anonymous feedback. It's always an honor receiving recognition as well, and since being named to a Top Workplaces list, our employees feel proud to be a part of our organization.

**What do you like best about Energage?**

I like the ease of administration and the amount of questions our employees have the opportunity to answer. The questions ask for actual feedback, not just Yes, No, Maybe responses. The employee comments, both positive and negative are extremely valuable to feel the pulse of our business.

**What do you dislike about Energage?**

I am not crazy about the new reporting style.  I find it less easy to read, and it takes quite a bit of time to explain to each manager how to read the reports. I scheduled a call with my Energage Rep who did a great job of explaining to me how to read the reports, but it was then time consuming on my end to explain to multiple managers how they are to read them. It would be handy to have document or video that more thoroughly explains how to read the reports, that I could send to the managers.

**Recommendations to others considering Energage:**

If you are looking to administer an Employee Survey that will provide valuable employee feedback and thorough reports, AND you value your limited amount of time to roll out such a thing - Energage is the way to go!

**What problems is Energage solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Energage has helped us to see problem areas that we had no idea were problem areas! This allows us to focus on solving problems we otherwise would not have known existed. For example, we have a small population of employees that we typically do not hear from very often.  Turns out that no news is not always good news!  This very important group had a lot to say through this survey, and we are very grateful they had they opportunity to provide us with their valuable feedback.  Before using Energage, we had been unsuccessful at doing that.

We've used Energage a couple of times now for employee surveys and really enjoy the ease of use. The process from start to finish is automated and seamless.

**What do you dislike about Energage?**

There were one or two times when I emailed my dedicated rep with questions and did not receive feedback. Other than that there are no other dislikes. 

**Recommendations to others considering Energage:**

If you are looking for an all inclusive solution to conduct surveys and manage results, Energage is a great option.

Energage has helped us capture feedback within our company directly from our employees. We are able to utilize the results of the surveys given to assist in employee engagement and growth.

The team was incredibly helpful and the platform was largely intuitive. The questions posed in the survey were thoughtful and clear, and prompted useful, compelling feedback.

The dashboard contains so much information that even though it's very intuitive/user-friendly, it's a little challenging to know where to access what.

This was our first large-scale employee survey, and it was a truly valuable experience. We learned so much through this exercise and Energage was the perfect tool.

As an organization we emphasize maintaining our culture as we grow.  So, it helped validate some of our thoughts from a leadership perspective and highlighted some areas we should focus on as we continue our growth strategy.

There wasn't much to dislike. We incorporated the survey into our leadership off site meeting and it was helpful to stimulate discussion around things we can do organizationally to maintain our culture as we continue or growth strategy.

Realized we have some pockets of people that may feel disconnected to the growth strategy.   We want to make sure that all individuals regardless of their role realize the value and impact their work has on our success.

I can really say there was nothing we disliked.  The only issue was they did not have paper survey's in Creole.

I love working with the Energage team designated to my project. They are so well versed and willing to provide any additional guidance. I can't think of a better company to be hands-on with any project that you may have that involves improving employee culture and morale.

I can't think of anything to dislike about them. They are always upgrading and improving their functionality.

Make a call to one of their account managers. I highly recommend them and they do not disappoint.

We are attempting to gauge employee culture. We have a variety of cultures within our institution and use Energage's products to gauge the climate. We participate in the Top Workplaces program every year. We have been consecutively recognized for eight years - until the most recent year. The information from our survey have allowed us to implement leadership development programs for our employees. They have been well received and appreciated.

**What do you like best about Energage?**

We've worked with energage for the past 5 years.  We love that the annual survey allows a confidential way to obtain feedback from our staff.  They team at energage always come back with a presentation to share how we are doing - both good and bad - and how we can continue to further grow.   They've been great to work with!

**What do you dislike about Energage?**

We partner with them annually, meaning that staff have the opportunity to share anonymous feedback just once a year.  (They are encouraged to do so throughout the year, however it is different.)

**Recommendations to others considering Energage:**

If you are looking for real feedback from your employees, Energage has been a great resource for us!  They build and implement the survey initially and follow up with a great presentation to ensure that we understand what our employees are saying.  It has been a very helpful resource to help build and grow our culture.

We are determining where we can grow.  They not only share where we are doing great, but they provide feedback on where we can grow along with ideas on where what to focus on.  (All of this comes directly from our employee feedback!)

The service team knows how to effectively partner to give us the best feedback / information from our employees ~ the information is back to us in a timely manner and the depth of the information offered is tremendous!  We LOVE working with Energage!

It took us a year or two to find our best structure for gathering department and leadership level information in a way that was best for our organization.  Once we found the right set up, we really found amazing benefit in the information and results.

The Engergage tool is easy to set up and use.  In addition, it is incredibly cost effective.  Great resource that we have come to depend on as our engagement source.

This survey helps us to keep a pulse on engagement in the organization.  It also helps to build plans to further enhance our culture for the organization, benefiting the amazing people that make The Next Door a great place to do hard work.

It is part of our participation in the SA Express News TopWorkplaces event and some employees feel it is a bit skewed because of that.

**What do you like best about Energage?**

I think the Energage team did a terrific job helping to facilitate the survey from start to finish. I started working with our personal representative months in advance and she ensured we hit all the suggest deadlines at appropriate times so that we wouldn't find ourselves 24 hours before the survey distribution not having our profile filled out or emails uploaded, etc. They were also very accessible throughout the process whenever I had a question. The questionnaire itself was distributed very well and was extremely user-friendly.

**What do you dislike about Energage?**

I dislike the fact that I can't help but not fully trust these surveys and how they end up scoring one company against another company to create the "Best Companies to Work" type lists. It seems that it's a very scientific, straight-forward process up to the very end when companies are ordered by score. Then it becomes confusing but only because when you read the pieces in the paper, you kind of scratch your head and wonder why one company is better than the other when the details provided are all so subjective and similar. But that's really all, and honestly I do not think this has as much to do with Energage's role in the process as it does the individual local papers.

We collect excellent insights about what our employees want to see more of, what they want to see less of and what they are indifferent toward. The reports generated by Energage are easy to follow and pull highlights from, which is very helpful for those of us who have to deliver the results in quick bullet points for our leaders to digest.

I love the checklist of to-do items. It is very thorough and keeps me on top on what I need to do along the way.

I did not experience this myself as I took my survey on the computer but I do think one of my employees stated that when they took the survey on their phone, the questions kept jumping back to the top of the page whenever they answered one. Could be more mobile friendly perhaps.

We use Energage's platform for our employee engagement survey. This has opened up insights for us into what our employees really want and how we can continue becoming a better company for them.

The process was easy, the results were quick, and the support during the entire process was above average. The entire support staff during the survey was patient and professional.

I hate that we didn't have time to make employees aware of which department they would be in prior to them taking the survey. That was due to our company joining the survey later.

We are in the beginning stages of changing our culture to one for which SC and surrounding residents want to work. We are implementing a task force to focus on issues found within the survey so that we too can become an employer of choice.

Energage's tools and support team make this easy to implement. Not only is the survey fairly quick for employees to take, the amount of support and accessible data, makes it easy for management to use as well.

The downside with the way we have used the tool is that timeline is beyond our control (because we use it as part of a top workplaces program).

We have used this information to gain insight into our employees and our culture. Areas we thought were "good", we now have data to show that we are in fact "good" - this, in turn, lends credibility to our areas of opportunity.

Energage's year to year comparison was very helpful to see how we much we improved in some areas and still needed to improve in others.

There is so much information to sift through. I like having all the information at our fingertips, but sometimes it is a bit overwhelming trying to find where I saw a particular page before.

There could be better communication regarding the process. There was a good flow of information regarding the kick off and during our survey period in years past that was really lacking this year (2018).
