# What Are the Top AI SDRs Software for Startups?

Highest rated AI SDRs platforms for startups generating predictable sales pipeline without additional headcount is one of the more practical questions in the AI SDRs category right now. Early-stage teams don't usually have the budget or the bandwidth to build out a full outbound function, so the appeal of an AI SDR is simple: keep the pipeline moving without adding another line to payroll. The harder part is figuring out which platforms actually hold up once the outreach volume climbs and the founder isn't the one writing every message anymore.

Close: Built around Chloe, an AI agent that sits inside the CRM itself rather than bolted on as a separate tool, so it can qualify leads, summarize calls, and update records using the same data the sales team already works from. Reviewers running lean teams point to the power dialer and built-in automation as what lets a small team cover the ground a much larger one would otherwise need. The tradeoff some mention is that reporting and workflow customization take a back seat to the core calling and messaging features.

AiSDR: Several small teams describe it directly as the reason they haven't had to hire additional outbound headcount, running signal-based, personalized campaigns across multiple audiences at once. The personalization is a genuine strength here, reviewers note messages that reference specific prospect activity rather than generic templates. The catch is a slower first stretch while mailboxes warm up, and a few reviewers would like more visibility into how individual campaigns are performing.

Salesforge: Consistently described as replacing several separate point tools, a writing tool, a warmup service, a LinkedIn automation app, with one platform, which several reviewers say pays for itself in avoided subscriptions alone. Unlimited senders and workspaces at no extra cost show up again and again as a reason small teams pick it over tools that charge per seat. New users do mention a short learning curve on the more advanced settings.

Clara AI SDR: A different approach, a video-based AI presence that engages inbound website visitors directly rather than sending outbound email. Fast-growing teams describe it taking pressure off a small SDR function during traffic spikes without needing to staff up. Its review base here is thinner than the others in this list, and reviewers are clear that it needs real onboarding investment before conversations feel dialed in, with more technical questions still routed to a human.

If you're running outbound without a dedicated SDR team yet, what's actually made the difference for you, is it the AI doing the writing, or something more structural like consolidating tools you used to pay for separately? And for anyone who has tried more than one of these, did the switch change how many people you needed on the team, or mostly change what they spent their time on?

Oh quick honest note on this category first: on G2 it's a bit of a mix, some entries are established sales-engagement platforms that added AI features, and some are the newer autonomous "AI SDR" agents, so I'd be clear on which you actually want. Among the verified, well-rated options that fit a startup, Reply is a strong one, it's affordable, multichannel, and has an AI SDR agent for prospecting and follow-up. Conversica is an AI sales assistant known for autonomously following up with leads until they respond. To be real, the buzzy pure-play autonomous AI SDR agents (names like 11x, AiSDR and Artisan) are newer and worth checking directly, since their G2 footprint is still growing and I'd want to verify current standing before vouching. For a startup, I'd weigh cost and how much it actually automates versus just assisting. Are you trying to fully automate outbound, or just make one or two reps more productive? That changes the pick.
