Great At Sending Docs.... It also shows you which slides people were viewing and how much time they spent on each slide. This is handy especially for sharing large files that can't be emailed due to size. **What do you dislike about DocSend?** For the way we wanted to use it, as a sales presentation platform, it did not work well. They told us AFTER we signed that they didn't actually have a conference line component so we had to pay for a Join.me integration add on after the fact. The Integration was a huge pain point and didn't work 1/2 the time. Not a great experience. **Recommendations to others considering DocSend:** If you are looking for a sales presentation tool this is not a good solution. If you just need to send documents to people- this works great. **What problems is DocSend solving and how is that benefiting you?** I use DocSend to send out my sales presentations to prospects after our call because the file size is too large to email. Previously I tried to use it as my presentation tool and that was a nightmare. Docsend works ok if you are just using it for document sending purposes. It is a horrible solution if you need it to do sales presentations. They don't have a native screenshare or conference line capability so we're integrated with Join.me which is total garbage. The Integration doesn't work 1/2 the time so attendees aren't able to see my screen and we have to spend 5 min troubleshooting most times. ### 3. DocSend is great! We update these "Client Materials Pages" (Spaces) and have clients bookmark them so they can go back and review/access everything we've presented to them in the past, from initial sales presentations to account assessments and so on. Beats Clearslide and other vendors, hands down. **Recommendations to others considering DocSend:** It's great. If you're using Clearslide, don't... this is a much better value for your money. Cleaner, crisper, better support. Spaces are great to create your own stuff and you can add and delete content e signature feature is fantastic. know your email is in the right hands **What do you dislike about DocSend?** Not the ability to block a specific domain or user so after we send an email to someone and we belief they are not a prospect anymore to block that person. The other thing that bothered me is the ability that your not able to delete content on spaces, you can only turn it of you can't delete. Gives us the ability to gauge what people are interested in and what could use improvement. I like that it's easy to upload content and that the spaces are customize-able. You can make the space look like an extension of your company website. **What do you dislike about DocSend?** For the spaces, it should notify us if someone accesses the space. It only notifies you if the content in the space is accessed. Searching content can be a tricky when there's a lot of content, having more search filters. **Recommendations to others considering DocSend:** I recommend docsend to anyone that shares information with clients or prospects. It gives information on what the prospect/client is looking at and how much time they spend on it. Lots of times people ask for information and don't look at it or just skim it. This gives you insight on who's serious vs curious. **What problems is DocSend solving and how is that benefiting you?** Gives us insight on how serious prospects are. I would really prefer if video worked out of the box. **Recommendations to others considering DocSend:** If you are on a market for a solution that will help you to shorten the sales cycle with the usage of content hubs - DocSend is a solid choice with very friendly pricing. **What problems is DocSend solving and how is that benefiting you?** I mostly used DocSend to create personalized content hubs for my potential clients. This strategy proved to be more efficient than standard autoresponder series. Usage of content hubs allowed me to significantly shorten the sales cycle (instead of "dripping" content message by message I create a hub with materials that I find relevant and then follow up based on usage statistics). ### 9. I can allow people to view only once they have provided information. Insights into what they look at and for how long. Link tracking allows me to see who it more productive in generating interest. **What do you dislike about DocSend?** There really is no downside in DocSend. It is the perfect tool for a very specific job of distributing presentations and tracking views and engagement. I'm sure it could do more, but that would only complicate the simplicity and utility it serves. **What problems is DocSend solving and how is that benefiting you?** The main problem it solves is knowing that someone looked at (or didn't look at) a presentation. When I do a follow up with an investor or prospect, I know if they've looked at what was sent and if they spent enough time on it to absorb the information. It allows me to really streamline the selling process and know how much I need to walk them through the details versus allowing them to ask questions. ### 10. There's an easy way to do massive uploads, but then you have to go one by one adding the password. It would be incredibly useful if you could input a CSV or excel file with all of the individual passwords, and also do massive link extractions. **Recommendations to others considering DocSend:** None **What problems is DocSend solving and how is that benefiting you?** I know in my presentations which slides are catching peoples attention, and which ones aren´t performing as well. If I screw up when uploading a file, I can fix it before people even notice, as opposed to emailing them the file directly, which would make it impossible to retrieve said file once it had been sent. If you screw up also, damage is easily quantifiable. It also allows to see who is really interested in your product. ### 12. Sending content via links straight from your email, or creating a Space for a prospect is easy enough, once you train and reinforce adoption. **What do you dislike about DocSend?** Within DocSend, things can only exist in one place. If the user does not know where they are, the search functionality can spit out a lot of results, making it hard to know what's the most recent version. Because users can upload their own versions of things to their personal content folders, this creates many duplicates and can make tracking difficult for Marketing on what is actually being used/opened and what marketing materials are impacting sales. Sellers tell me they don't always use a link or create a Space because it's time-consuming, and are still sending things via email attachments, again making the Marketing team very frustrated. **Recommendations to others considering DocSend:** Take a look at at least two other vendors - I recommend starting with HighSpot and Showpad. We chose DocSend for ease-of-use in order to get high adoption, and even with that choice, we struggle with adoption. Show your end users each platform and get their buy-in before making a decision! **What problems is DocSend solving and how is that benefiting you?** We are able to understand which type of content and specific pieces of content are resonating with our Prospects. We are also able to share content easily with Prospects and continue to do so once they become Customers. Additionally, we have one source of truth for the most up-to-date versions of collateral (as long as people remember to look there). ### 13. Users can also download and save the content, which also gives them the possibility of saving information. It has a very broad support for many types of documents, which allows you to upload and modify files of different extensions. **What do you dislike about DocSend?** The website sometimes goes a little slow and stays loading for a while, which sometimes means that you have to wait to upload or revise a new document.
