I find the easy template builder a bit limited; there's more flexibility I'd like when designing emails. Autosaving would also be a big improvement. Some parts of the process feel a bit unintuitive, like only being able to check email size at the final send stage. Formatting can be tricky at times, for example, centring multiple images in a column, or social icons. Also not being able to add 'lines' easily. Segmentation can feel a bit limited. There isn't a simple way to exclude people already in programs from receving other program sends or campaigns, which means building more segment manually. I find Dotdigital's dynamic content really interesting because it lets us create single emails that change depending on the recipient, which is drastically increasing the speed of our workflow. It also allows us to create more personalized experiences. These features are valuable because they're a time saver and open the door to more opportunities for commercialization and personalization. I appreciate that it helps deliver more tailored content and offers rather than a one-size-fits-all approach. Additionally, setting it up was pretty easy, with only a couple of minor issues. The onboarding process and training were smooth, thanks to the great people guiding us. We're able to connect our platforms nicely with Dotdigital, making our automations even more powerful. Right now, we've not used the system enough to really find any downsides, although I think one challenge that we're going to have is coming up with all the different ideas and opportunities that we might have for automations. Particularly as we're now entering a phase in our business that is much more commercially driven than it has been previously. I really like how easy it is to drag and drop different blocks within the email creator in Dotdigital. That's a nice feature and it makes it a lot easier for us, especially when teaching more junior people how to use the platform. It saves us a lot of time compared to other email tools where bringing in different elements can be a complicated process. Also, Dotdigital helps us send HTML emails without needing a separate CRM, which is a bonus as it can otherwise be quite expensive. I've used Dotdigital for years, and I'm very familiar with it. Overall, I find it a great system to use. It's an easy but brilliant email tool and great for building campaigns. The email campaign builder is particularly valuable, and being able to use dynamic content is great. Also, being able to easily build contact forms is brilliant.
