&lt;p&gt;I’d want an exception report rather than assume automated filing means every jurisdiction is correct. Employee moves and first hires in a new state seem like the moments most likely to expose gaps. I’d reconcile payroll filings against state notices and tax accounts regularly, especially after adding a new jurisdiction, so an error gets caught before penalties accumulate.&lt;/p&gt;
