"Easy round-robin type distribution of any records "

What do you like best?

That the day-to-day administration such as adding team members to distributors or temporarily disabling a team member (e.g. for out-of-office) can be handled by the Sales team manager.

What do you dislike?

There isn't much to dislike as the app is relatively 'does what it says on the tin'. The only issue we've had is that in the past it has taken a few days for new licenses to be provisioned.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

I haven't used anything else, but if you are looking for a way to easily distribute records by quantity and quality (or any attribute), this will do that.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We use distribution engine to distribute new leads evenly among our SDR teams. The word 'evenly' is important, as distribution engine allows us to do this not just by even quantity but by even quality. We rate new leads using another App from A to D. Each of our SDRs now gets an even number of A/B leads and C/D leads. As you can imagine, this is a very popular app among our sales teams!

"The best lead distribution solution out there"

What do you like best?

I've implemented Distribution Engine at my previous employer and now for my current employer. Both experiences have been fantastic working with the DE team to get up and running. Their level of onboarding and support is top-notch. It's been awesome to see how their solution works with different organizational structures and workflows. If you aren't using DE for your Salesforce lead distribution, do yourself a favor and start a trial. Once you see how much easier it can be to distribute, customize, and make adjustments to your lead assignments, you'll be hooked.

What do you dislike?

I don't have any complaints about Distribution Engine.

They are working on building additional functionality to their alerts and I'm looking forward to seeing how we can leverage that in our organization.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Prior to using Distribution Engine, any changes to lead assignments were tedious and something I would dread having to do. DE makes it easy to add and remove reps from a round robin with zero disruption to the reps or lead flows. I love having alerts when leads aren't getting the attention and care they need. I also appreciate the flexibility to have hot and warm leads in their own round robin, so reps aren't complaining about not getting an equal amount of hot leads.

"Gets the job done!"

What do you like best?

I like that it is easy to use, efficient, and helps our team accomplish our goals.

What do you dislike?

I can think of nothing that I dislike about this tool.

Have a set of assignment rules in advance of set up.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We need leads distributed to a range of representatives with associated rules. These rules help us prioritize hot leads and ensure that they are responded to as quickly as possible. Distribution engine helped us get these leads distributed and responded to faster. I love that the tool is declaratively based and allows for both standard and custom fields to be leveraged for it's core functions.

"Good lead assigner with logic functions."

What do you like best?

I like that we are able to "set and forget" the Distribution Engine. We are in a high call volume environment, and this takes care of issues of ownership.

What do you dislike?

Sometimes, hard to see blockers - need to pay special attention to make sure that everyone has called their leads.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Lead distribution. No fighting over any leads. This automatically assigns and distributes things out based on time, so we have automated a lot of our work flow to get this accomplished, thanks Distribution Engine!

"Complex lead assignments made easy"

What do you like best?

This tool allowed for very complex round robin and named account distribution in order to satisfy business requirements for multi-level sales team. The support received from the NC2 is also amazing. I highly recommend.

What do you dislike?

No real negatives, always interested in new features!

This tool will allow you to do what salesforce cannot with round robin and named account assignments.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We were able to migrate from territory based to round robin assignments within teams, with holdback rules and leads from the same company being 'sticky' to the same rep to avoid multiple reps calling into the same account.

"Can't live without it!"

What do you like best?

Very easy to setup and distribute any object within salesforce. You can start with basic lead routing and move forward to complex case routing, accounts, SOQL queries, there are really not limits when it comes to DE. We have standardized this app for all functional business units @ Shutterstock, once we deploy a new group we set them up with DE, historical BUs get this app as well.

What do you dislike?

There is not too much we don't like about DE, the team is small and growing but that is the nature of a startup so not really much they can do.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

If you have a lead routing, case routing... any sort of automatic routing problems, look no further!

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We route leads, contacts, opportunities, accounts, cases mostly by language and skill. We have freed up hundreds of hours for our customer service lead team by implementing this app in our salesforce instance. We have also improved our email response time to our customers significantly, so while internally there was a great benefit, it was our customers our support channels who saw the true benefit of the app.

"Distribution Engine Rocks!!"

What do you like best?

They are the only app that allows us to automatically distribute cases to service teams based on pre-set criteria out of a queue.

What do you dislike?

Nothing - it is the best - developers are very responsive
