What do you like best about DesignX?

DesignX was extremely strong at working within real constraints. We deliberately scoped this effort to be primarily UI-focused, limiting UX changes to avoid disrupting existing customers or increasing deployment and training risk. DesignX not only respected those constraints, but actively helped us identify where small, targeted updates would have the highest impact.

They brought a modern, component-based design mindset that elevated both the product and how our internal teams think about it. They pushed back when needed — always with clear rationale and professionalism — and eased off when appropriate by investing time to understand the system, our customers, and our long-term goals. What do you dislike about DesignX?

I didn’t have issues with the quality of DesignX’s work or how they collaborated, but there was a short adjustment period around progress reporting and measurement. Our team operates in a very data-driven environment with a strong preference for clear milestones, hard numbers, and prioritized shortlists of critical items (that we had to take some time to develop ourselves).

Once expectations were aligned, DesignX adapted quickly and consistently hit the agreed-upon goals. This was less a shortcoming and more a matter of aligning reporting styles early in a complex, fast-moving project. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering DesignX:

Be clear about your constraints, priorities, and how you measure progress — and then let DesignX do what they do best. They are particularly strong in complex, legacy, or high-risk environments where change needs to be thoughtful rather than disruptive.

What problems is DesignX solving and how is that benefiting you?

DesignX helped us tackle a very difficult problem: modernizing the UI of a large, deeply complex ERP product that has followed similar design patterns for nearly three decades. The size of the system, the steep learning curve, and the needs of an active, long-standing customer base meant this was not a surface-level redesign.

DesignX took a thoughtful and disciplined approach to learning the product, proactively collaborating with our engineering and product teams to identify the most critical areas to focus on first. This allowed them to add meaningful value quickly, without getting lost in the breadth of the system. "Effortless Site Building with Excellent Communication"

What do you like best about DesignX?

We were able to build pages, adjust styling, and manage content in one place, which saved us time and reduced back-and-forth. The end result was a cleaner, more polished site that we could launch faster and continue improving easily.
