I love the fact that I can see what my work colleagues are doing on site. We take a lot of photos for record keeping, for reporting, for QA, etc. The guys can place all of their photos on Dashpivot, from where I can download or export them. This is very handy for weekly reports or checking a detail of something you did in the past.
If you have a rough idea of when a photo was done, you can filter the photos by date. This is very handy to filter through a lot of photos. Similarly, you can filter by user. If you know who the engineer is in the area, you can filter through his/her individual photos narrowing it down even more.
You can create custom templates which are really handy. You can create a new template in a very short time, customized to your exact needs. This is probably a feature we don't use enough, but has the potential to be a very powerful tool if you are willing to invest 5 to 10 minutes.
One of the templates we use most frequently is the "Daily diary". This is a very simple and effective way of documenting your works.
A great mobile app, with a lot of features found on the desktop version.
Can tag your photos and then later search by your tags.
Can create different "areas". Upload photos per area of works.
Definitely worth it. Great support from the developers as well, with constant improvements. If you have any questions, just type it in the chat bubble and you'll be sorted in a couple of minutes.
