Ability to digitise existing paper based processes. This enhances visibility of sites we working on, the real time information makes soling issues on site far quicker than we were through phone calls, e-mails etc. We find the templates very easy to make, issue and use meaning implementation has been made very simple. Photo's and tagging has helped give contract managers an instant overview of what work has been completed on each day and an ability to see issues and correct before they become snagging issues. Most of our construction sites are not local therefore there was a disconnect between site based staff and office based project engineers and contract managers. With Dashpivot we have gained a real time over view of what is happening on site and an ability to log and record more information without burdening the site supervisors with more admin. Being able to see weather or not a purchase order or permit has been signed off and knowing who you need to contact to get it approved to keep the work going onsite. I love the fact that I can see what my work colleagues are doing on site. We take a lot of photos for record keeping, for reporting, for QA, etc. The guys can place all of their photos on Dashpivot, from where I can download or export them. This is very handy for weekly reports or checking a detail of something you did in the past. If you have a rough idea of when a photo was done, you can filter the photos by date. This is very handy to filter through a lot of photos. Similarly, you can filter by user. If you know who the engineer is in the area, you can filter through his/her individual photos narrowing it down even more. You can create custom templates which are really handy. You can create a new template in a very short time, customized to your exact needs. This is probably a feature we don't use enough, but has the potential to be a very powerful tool if you are willing to invest 5 to 10 minutes. One of the templates we use most frequently is the "Daily diary". This is a very simple and effective way of documenting your works. A great mobile app, with a lot of features found on the desktop version. Can tag your photos and then later search by your tags. Can create different "areas". Upload photos per area of works. User-friendly - even your old school colleagues can easily figure out how to use it 2. Flexible and adaptable - can be custom built to your needs 3. Creativity - the input fields allow you to be creative with how you create templates and it's great how you can create tags for photos 4. Identification and traceability - Easy to search, group and track tags / input fields / GPS location for photographs 5. Fast - the download and upload speeds are fast, especially if you need to download a whole bunch of high quality photos 6. Reliable - the Dashpivot team have been very helpful and are always touching base to ensure the users are enjoying their experience. Some improvements could be made: 1. Linking various templates would be very helpful (although I hear this is in the works) 2.
