Everything is straight-forward, and you don't have to go far to find what you are looking for in terms of candidates and posting jobs. One of the top things my firm enjoys the most is the email integration. It's also very easy to sift through candidates and find what you need with the ability to add tags. **What do you dislike about Crelate?** Definitely the chrome app. It gives me an issue every time I log into it, and always list me as the candidate I'm trying to feed in. Otherwise, Crelate does fit our needs to a T and there's really nothing else about it I dislike. **What problems is Crelate solving and how is that benefiting you?** Having to go in and keep everything in an excel spreadsheet. When candidates are uploaded to Crelate, they're already organized in the same way a spreadsheet would be, with including some more options. ### 4. The application form only allows one document to be uploaded at a time. **Recommendations to others considering Crelate:** Ensure you spend extra time working with the Crelate team to setup your workflow stages before you start accepting applications. I came from working at Oracle, so I had in my mind that solutions similar to those that Oracle provides are the best and it's a waste to invest in others. This has allowed us to make some suggestions and give feedback about things we'd like to see. We've been using the system for under a week now and everything seem very easy to use. **Recommendations to others considering Crelate:** I would recommend this product to other recruiting firms. It's very easy to use, the search features a great and being able to go to the dashboard to see everything in one place is also a great benefit. I am a numbers person and I really like the reporting feature that shows my activity in the system. Our old system did not have any type of reporting at all and was difficult to measure my efforts in order to reach my goals. **What problems is Crelate solving and how is that benefiting you?** Being able to parse LinkedIn pages into Crelate is a great feature that our old data base system was not able to do. It's aesthetically pleasing and the extension is absolutely great for my job as a recruiter. I like using it. Plus it's easy for us to reference candidates we have while looking for others and find emails we've already found quickly. **What do you dislike about Crelate?** So many windows, things can get messy. Some features are hidden through many buttons and sometimes thats fine, but sometimes its annoying. Apart from that though, I like it. It's hard for information to NOT be cluttered when it's so much of it, we have a ton of candidates in crelate and some have been parsed better than others. **Recommendations to others considering Crelate:** Crelate is a good company with a good product. It was created by people who understand ATS and recruiting. You can send out emails directly from the site, or just use it as your own candidate database. **What problems is Crelate solving and how is that benefiting you?** We're a full-service contract recruiting/staff augmentation firm. Because we work with other companies as their in-house recruiters, we often just use whatever ATS the company is. But for us as a company, we now own our own data and ATS, and I'm surprised it has taken us this long to get one. ### 18. When they add a new feature, or we are training someone on how to use it for the first time, it takes very little time to train them. The interface is clean, easy to use, and looks nice and makes you want to be "in it" all day. **What do you dislike about Crelate?** I think there are some ways to make the bulk emailing or more "salesy" features better in terms of getting out form emails, setting up or scheduling follow-up emails, tracking responses, etc... In other words, integrating (or making it more obvious) to use for digital email purposes. **What problems is Crelate solving and how is that benefiting you?** We use Crelate as an ATS to track all of our candidates and to keep track of our clients. It's great for keeping track of all of this information, including centralizing documents like resumes and contracts, and keeping notes of everybody. Crelate is not necessarily immediately intuitive, but Crelate offers one-on-one service, walk-throughs and responsive customer service. If you have a question or need help, Crelate provides you friendly and knowledgeable support. **What do you dislike about Crelate?** Thanks to Microsoft, we've been trained to follow certain keystrokes and mouse clicks to make things happen. Many other mainstream software packages and ATS platforms follow that same logic. Crelate's platform doesn't seem to follow that accepted "norm." **Recommendations to others considering Crelate:** If a feature doesn't work the way you need or something needs to be added, don't hesitate to ask! We have a national reach. The diverse nature of our client requirements make it imperative that we are agile when responding to super specific requests around candidate tenure, technical skills, industry knowledge, performance metrics, location, career stability, and countless other soft traits. Our challenge, as a contingency based search firm, is providing enough "high touch" service to satisfy each client's nuanced request, while maintaining enough velocity and volume to continuously feed the candidate and client pipeline. A flexible, reliable, and powerful Applicant Tracking System is critical to achieve these goals. Crelate was suggested to Xtra Effort by another small recruiting firm. We were hesitant to consider change because of the fear of disruption associated with the data conversion and learning curve. However, these fears were alleviated when speaking with Crelate, mostly for two reasons: 1) Crelate's technology is intuitive, flexible, and really well designed 2) Crelate's people are SUPER responsive, thoughtful, creative, and resourceful Crelate made Xtra Effort feel as though we were a 1000 employee prospect. They made every perceived major hurdle go away through listening and making resourceful suggestions. We agreed to convert to Crelate and had the same favorable experience during the conversion and training period, and with the post conversion support organization. Mostly importantly, Xtra Effort users are now offering unsolicited comments about productivity gains. Xtra Effort would definitely suggest Crelate if you feel a need for improved value and function from your ATS technology AND vendor team. It is fantastic to truly valued as a customer by the vendor who is most critical to supporting our efforts. Contingency recruiting is challenging, it is nice to know that such an important partner cares and "has your back" **What do you dislike about Crelate?** It would be great to have "required fields", forcing users to enter information on critical areas; and it would be helpful to limit users to specific pick lists, and not enable them to enter any data they want **Recommendations to others considering Crelate:** be open minded to their suggested workflow. We need a system that can work across our various company databases. **What problems is Crelate solving and how is that benefiting you?** We are using Crelate to match students in our education programs with employers for job opportunities. The tool allows us to track the relationships and movement of students through the process, and see easily where the process is being stuck or stalled, and determine quickly and easily who has been submitted for what opening. Crelate did a great job training my team members to understand the system, and also in training and onboarding myself as the business owner. **What do you dislike about Crelate?** Every now and then, Crelate does a technical update and doesn't tell it's users. I wish they would give us a heads up. I also wish there was a toggle for notes that you wanted clients/hiring managers to see. Right now, you just have to send it to them as a task, which then they disappear once the task is completed. **Recommendations to others considering Crelate:** Take the time to do all of the trainings.
