Kanban opportunities view is great. The integrations with tasks is useful for me. Gmail and Copper is what we use as an organization and it is great to have complementary tools.

The ease and intuitiveness of the platform. There is no need to have previously used a CRM to quickly understand how it operates. Additionally, every day it gives you a summary of your agenda, opportunities in your email inbox, and you can set reminders for opps.

**What do you dislike about Copper?**

Sometimes there are small UX problems when fully viewing the pipeline!

**What problems is Copper solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It allows me to centralize all opportunities and keep them updated in one place. Additionally, it reminds me to contact clients, understand which opportunities have not progressed as expected, see sales metrics by person, by brand, and by product... there are many advantages!

It fetches all the relevant information from your inbox(Gmail in our case) and saves time to find address, company, phone number, and social profiles. It also offers to read any conversation within your organization with any prospect or customer from the senior hierarchy. This saves time in updates meetings.

**What do you dislike about Copper?**

The email tracking feature could be very useful if it doesn't have false positive notifications. Even if the sender reads an email it counts as a read and gives misleading matric.

**What problems is Copper solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps us keep track of prospects, new leads, deals, reminders, tasks, and sharing schedules to book meetings.

It has saved our lot of time building quarterly yearly manual reports,

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sterling G L. | Realtor, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 18, 2021

**What do you like best about Copper?**

The greatest strength is the gmail integration. The ability to work the persons' info right in gmail, Make changes on the fly & capture emails in relation to the person is not new, what is different is doing it in gmail and not some CRM branded/ bound email client

**What do you dislike about Copper?**

Nothing yet! Nor have I stumbled across something, But if I need it, support and developers are available to assist

**What problems is Copper solving and how is that benefiting you?**

My business has three different sales centers & the ability to handle all of those at scale for this price is huge. Especially with the reporting provided

  ### 10. CRM Simplified !!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Electrical/Electronic Manufacturing | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 15, 2021

**What do you like best about Copper?**

Copper provides a comprehensive CRM for both cloud and mobile operations.
Exectives on the go can quickly access company contacts and files from their fingertips.

**What do you dislike about Copper?**

What I dislike about copper is that its opportunty management UI does not appear to be built for scales. It appears to have more focus on look and feel of data entry than being able for operators to view information with better managed screen real estate. An example of this is that when using a 14" laptop the format of the screen requires more scrolling than I would like to find what I need.

**What problems is Copper solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our intial focus in choosing Copper is two fold. One is tight integration with Google mail where Copper makes data entry a breeze compared to my most recent experience with Salesforce.
Second was simply to have an quick and easy to use central repository to manange client contact information and reference point for opportunity tracking.

  ### 11. great program with great integration

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Individual & Family Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 02, 2021

**What do you like best about Copper?**

The ease of moving from client to task and being able to use all devices. Communication between all staff members and the ability to see a whole picture of each project or client.

**What do you dislike about Copper?**

It's hard to set up custom reports. I don't feel the instructions are clear. It's hard to get a live person to help.

**What problems is Copper solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The problem we are currently solving is tying our clients with referral sources consistently. By knowing who is referring to our company, we can outline critical accounts structure. With this information, we can grow a strong strategy for growth.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Internet | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 03, 2021

**What do you like best about Copper?**

Copper is easy to set up, import data, and use on a daily basis. A great way to track opportunities and communication with contacts. The daily notification emails are great.

**What do you dislike about Copper?**

It is priced a bit higher than similar tools like Nutshell. There is no easy way to integrate regular web contact forms. However, the most expensive Business plan does include Outfunnel integration, something that has to be purchased separately with the professional plan.

**Recommendations to others considering Copper:**

Take the free trial for a run. It's easy to get started. One thing to note is that they only offer annual plans so be sure to take full advantage of the trial to ensure it meets your needs. Be sure to try the mobile app. It is easy to use and track opportunities and keep up with leads.

Keeping track of opportunities and leads

My poor memory

  ### 18. Good CRM overall

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Packaging and Containers | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 24, 2022

**What do you like best about Copper?**

Makes communication and notekeeping amongst all of our team members more streamlined and visible, rather than keeping hardcopy notes of each customer.

**What do you dislike about Copper?**

Potential for duplicate customers being put into the system without a pop-up filter for this.

**What problems is Copper solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Data integrity - We do alot of regular manual work making sure that the data is entered in correctly. As long as it is, then the information is accurate and easily accessible by all team members.

**What do you dislike about Copper?**

Automated follow up reminders and limited capabilities compared to many other CRMs ive used

I have been able to prospect many leads I did not think were out there based on filtering leads based on different search criteria. The automation is also nice when it goes from Copper to Slack.

**What do you like best about Copper?**

The task reminders are very helpful! They keep me on track for my day, and I like the reminder system.

**What do you dislike about Copper?**

Now and then, the tasks won't load on their correct date. I have to refresh the page a few times to get all the tasks to load.

**What problems is Copper solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I have to email customers about samples they order, so it's easy to keep track of my previous emails.

  ### 25. Best CRM

  ### 27. Everything we need and more!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 09, 2021

**What do you like best about Copper?**

We chose Copper for two primary reasons - one, you can't beat the price. And two, the g-suite integration - which has been a dream and made our workflow so seamless. The platform is user-friendly, and we use the email templates and batch email features quite a bit. Support has been responsive and helpful.

**What do you dislike about Copper?**

We've had to look for certain things in the platform that weren't SUPER intuitive to track down, but once you know where to go, it's no issue at all. Would love to see a multi-touch automated email feature down the line!

**What problems is Copper solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Copper is saving us time on day-to-day data entry, since you can add contacts directly from Gmail and much of the contact info pre-populates.

  ### 28. Copper Review

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Eric M. | Director of Marketing, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 08, 2022

**What do you like best about Copper?**

Tracking ability on our RFP's from initial call in to closing.

**What do you dislike about Copper?**

I wish we could install the contact info as we are filling out the RFP.

**What problems is Copper solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Tracking ability of RFP's during the early stages is fantastic

  ### 29. Nicely integrated with Google Workspace/Gmail

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rick M. | Regional Sales Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 28, 2021

**What do you like best about Copper?**

Automation of tasks makes the sales process more consistent and predictable.

**What do you dislike about Copper?**

Inconsistent use of custom fields in email templates

**Recommendations to others considering Copper:**

If you are already a "Google" house, Copper makes the most sense for your choice of a CRM. With its integration to Google suite of products, it offers many other popular integrations like QuickBooks.

**What problems is Copper solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Able to track the entire sales process from target to customer.

  ### 30. Awful customer support - watch for hidden contract terms

**Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Josh C. | Owner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 16, 2021

**What do you like best about Copper?**

Easy to setup the CRM and get started right away.

**What do you dislike about Copper?**

Just about everything else.

Over priced for what it does.

They lock you into a contract which you CAN'T get out of even though it's their customer support that is awful in the first place!

Started comparing options and realized how overpriced this software was next to competitors who do the same things PLUS a lot more for my business.

You can do a lot better by selecting another software option.

I am a small business Owner and would NEVER treat my paying clients this way!

**Recommendations to others considering Copper:**

Look at zoho or another solution that actually cares about their client's business.

**What problems is Copper solving and how is that benefiting you?**

None. I dumped it quickly after their software deleted my contacts somehow and could not recover them.

Reading other reviews its clear this support and product are awful.

  ### 31. Senior Sales Executive

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 21, 2021

**What do you like best about Copper?**

organization, next call feature, adding wesbite/email handle. I also love the opportunity feature and the fact that you can build a lead list within copper! The tracked emails and calender is helpful. It's also cool to have my tracked emails right there for access.

**What do you dislike about Copper?**

I dislike when the phone doesnt work sometimes, and when the system doesnt sense duplicate companies. but the by adding the email handle has helped that a lot. i really cant think of anything else I dont like. this is an amazing resoruce

**What problems is Copper solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Stepping on other coworker's toes, staying organized and not forgetting about leads and opportunities. I also like being able to organize and keep track of contacts. I am solving the issue of letting leads get lost and forgotten. I like the daily reminders of who to call

  ### 32. Awesome!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Eli J. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 17, 2020

**What do you like best about Copper?**

Same look and feel regardless of where you work, phone, Gmail extension, web browser. It is excellent. I also like the drag and drop features of the pipeline along with customizing each sales persons pipeline. This has helped us be more efficient.

**What do you dislike about Copper?**

Maybe one day have some more email automation similar to Outreach. For now though, no complaints. I also would like the Gmail extensions to save data entered faster so that it doesn't delete a few things from time to time.

**Recommendations to others considering Copper:**

Try it! Easiest CRM to learn on the market!

**What problems is Copper solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Communication between salespeople is better than before. We also have accurate pipelines now and we never had that in the past.

  ### 33. Best Google Workspace CRM

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Andra V. | Digital Marketing Strategist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 15, 2021

**What do you like best about Copper?**

It's a great CRM for Google Workspace! It's a pretty CRM, with all the essential features to get your business to start using a CRM. You can also scale with Copper if you're willing to invest in automation and integrations and it can be the main hub for a lot of your SMB needs.

**What do you dislike about Copper?**

It's a great CRM overall. The one feature I really wish it had was the ability to convert Opportunities back into Leads.

**What problems is Copper solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use it as a CRM for our sales team, plus we also help other businesses implement Copper into their business.

  ### 34. Everyday user

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Niels W. | Partner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 14, 2021

**What do you like best about Copper?**

Integration to Gmail and Google Calendar.

Easy tagging customers and updating new status on customer/lead.

**What do you dislike about Copper?**

Not a downside, but it takes discipline to get real value from Copper i.e. remember to update customer/ lead after contact.

**Recommendations to others considering Copper:**

It takes some time to import customers, understanding and building tags, setting up reports/ overviews.

In the beginning you will forget to update your contact points. But hang in - it's all worth it :-)

**What problems is Copper solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Without Copper or other CRM, it wouldn't be possible to keep track with our customers and multiple leads - all with different backgrounds and history

  ### 35. Copper makes it easy for a new sales rep like me to navigate a growing pipeline!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 16, 2022

**What do you like best about Copper?**

Being able to sort open opportunities by different parts of the deal life cycle.

**What do you dislike about Copper?**

I would love to be able to send cold emails or reconnect emails through copper, maybe with the assistance of AI.

**What problems is Copper solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The most significant benefit I can see is being able to clearly see what I have in my pipeline, while my sales director also having access to my pipeline.

  ### 36. Easiest Gmail plugin CRM

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Insurance | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 30, 2021

**What do you like best about Copper?**

How easy the web-based browser is to use. I also like their Opportunities tab that showcases the deal stages and where each company is in that stage. It's super easy to log activities as well.

**What do you dislike about Copper?**

Stats, tracking, and reporting. It's hard to pull reports. They also oversold their email marketing capabilities. They said we could sequence outreach emails and I haven't seen anything of the sort in fact it's very hard to send marketing/business devleopment emails from the site.

**What problems is Copper solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Having 1 centralized CRM for 5 business development leaders to report our conversations in and showcase where our opportunities are in the funnel.

  ### 37. Copper Processing power

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**What do you like best about Copper?**

I like the automation portion of it and the integration with Google.

**What do you dislike about Copper?**

I dislike how I can not figure out how to make it more flexible with my process. I have a process I want to create, and I can not seem to get it working in copper.

**Recommendations to others considering Copper:**

Use this to leverage your skills in sales or other business for a database, General workflow

**What problems is Copper solving and how is that benefiting you?**

**Reviewed Date:** September 30, 2021

**What do you like best about Copper?**

The ease of the program, simple to set up and use.

**What do you dislike about Copper?**

I am still having a little trouble setting up some specific dashboards.

**What problems is Copper solving and how is that benefiting you?**

  ### 39. Tremendous

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed Date:** November 04, 2021

**What do you like best about Copper?**

Very clever thinking and help organize my leads and companies.

**What do you dislike about Copper?**

Nothing really. Although I would like a call list feature, so I can add my leads in and out of a separate call list

**What problems is Copper solving and how is that benefiting you?**

organization, google integration

  ### 40. Not bad, but missing key features AND pricey

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Entertainment | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 17, 2021

**What do you like best about Copper?**

I really enjoy their CRM! I honestly think this is one of the best and most intuitive CRMs that I've used. I love that it automatically adds company logos (which makes it a lot easier to search visually), and I love that you can so easily sort through both people and companies.

**What do you dislike about Copper?**

There's no internal calendar or agenda, which is very disappointing. While they sync with Google Calendar, it's frustrating that there's no way to see all of your deadlines/tasks/events/etc. in one place. In addition, you end up needing to swap tabs constantly just to see what's coming up.

Also, because there's no "upcoming" list or any way to see your week at a glance, it means you can't really get a sense of what you have to do in terms of your CRM-related tasks.

Lastly, since there's no internal calendar, you can't connect events/deadlines to specific contacts. This means that you can't just click on a contact and see upcoming deadlines or click on an event in Google and see which contact or opportunity it's linked to.

Copper says they don't have a calendar intentionally, since Google is such a strong tool, but I find this not really a great answer, as you can't do tasks or contacts on Google Calendar, PLUS they already have your Gmail visible within the platform. It seems like consolidating the sites you use helps your workflow a ton, so it's strange that they don't have one.

As I work in the events/entertainment industry, this was a dealbreaker for me, unfortunately.

**Recommendations to others considering Copper:**

I would wait for now - their price coupled with their pretty slow support time, minimal/disorganized help-desk articles, and lack of key features means you can definitely get the same product for a lot less money elsewhere.

I would absolutely pay this price if they had better support, calendars, and more straightforward help desk articles.

**What problems is Copper solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's a lot easier to get a sense of my clients and make connections between them and the work I had to do!

**Official Response from Carrie Shaw:**

> Hi there! Thank you for this review; we do wish we had done better. I wanted to pass on some information direct from our VP of Product. While we aren’t planning to build out our own calendar we are currently working on building deeper and better integration with Google's calendar, including many of the features you are specifically looking for. We expect to release this new functionality in a couple of months. Given that you seem to have read our minds :) we would love to connect with you and get your feedback to see if we’re on the right track.

If you’re open to it drop us an email at product-feedback@copper.com and we’ll set something up!

**Reviewed by:** Rachel D. | Influencer Program Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 14, 2021

**What do you like best about Copper?**

Although we do not utilize all the features, we love the new email sequences. This feature has been so handy. We can set up a series of 6 emails to go out over a period of time by utilizing the tagging feature. We also love the ability to see the communication between our team and partners without asking a team member.

**What do you dislike about Copper?**

The reporting for what we need could be more accessible.

**Reviewed Date:** May 31, 2021

**What do you like best about Copper?**

Opportunities pipelines keeps me and my team on track.

**What do you dislike about Copper?**

Leads function is a bit confusing and we've each interpreted it differently. Ultimately, we just don't use it.

**Recommendations to others considering Copper:**

A good CRM is essential for business growth, but usually, it's a challenge to onboard new users and get them in the habit of not only entering data but keeping it up-to-date and clean. Copper was an easy transition for us and even CRM newbies were motivated to discover more of its features to benefit our business!

**What problems is Copper solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Copper allows us to map out revenue goals and prioritize our focus. Has also allowed us to bring together the B2B and B2C sides of our business.

  ### 47. A great product for the tech savvy realtor

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kevin M. | Realtor/Team Leader, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 06, 2021

**What do you like best about Copper?**

I like the customization and the feel of working in copper

**What do you dislike about Copper?**

it sometimes lags and the filtering could use some refinement. re occurring dates are not searchable.

**What problems is Copper solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Im able to refine and sort my database better than systems that are out of the box made for realtors.

  ### 48. Overall good CRM for what we use it for and good value for the money

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chris H. | Finance Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 21, 2021

**What do you like best about Copper?**

Integration with Google. Ability to customize fields and statuses and my Pipeline

**What do you dislike about Copper?**

I don't like that the CRM is geared more towards B2B sales, so the defaults are set up to add People, Work Email, Work Phone Number etc. We are selling to consumers and don't require any information as far as their "business" and always have to work around that

**What problems is Copper solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Getting a regular influx of leads worked in a timely fashion and following up on the leads well.

  ### 49. Copper: A great tool

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Human Resources | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 27, 2021

Excellent CRM. Keeps our sales opportunities moving forward, and keeps us from crossing wires with regards to customer communications, etc.
