C&S can be a powerful scaling tool for SDR/ISR teams doing top-of-funnel outreach. It is amazing to see the volume you can achieve in just an hour or two on the phone. The platform integrates well enough with Salesforce that duplicate efforts, notes entry overlap, and blind spots can be overcome with some experience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about ConnectAndSell? The "blip" that signals the start of a call is often audible for the person on the other end of the line, so it's obvious to anyone with experience that they're a part of a mass-outreach, which can throw some people off and start the conversation on the wrong foot. The system itself does have bugs that can interrupt or stall your team altogether. They're pretty good about support and fixing, but there is definitely a learning curve to getting around certain quirks. Do not skimp on training/support package and be sure you have an admin who can deal with tickets/issues. Also, it can get pretty expensive on a per call basis - you don't really know what's happening on their end, so you just have to trust that they're keeping their end of the bargain. Recommendations to others considering ConnectAndSell: If you build your lists with intent - the persona(s) you're targeting, your repeatable pitch, and the call to action - you will get a lot of wins. It can be daunting to new users because you don't know who's going to answer until they're already on the line with you, but it just takes some practice and confidence to think on your feet. What problems is ConnectAndSell solving and how is that benefiting you? The sheer amount of calls you can log in a short period of time is staggering. Particularly on teams that have KPIs around # of dials, it is an excellent avenue for reps to knock those metrics out without feeling like a grind. The best users of C&S are highly detailed and strategic in the way they create lists, so they are planning in advance with a few specific questions in mind: 1) What persona(s) am I talking to? 2) What is my 30 second pitch? 3) What is the goal of this call or call to action? There is not a way to manage users (adding new users or deactivating users) other than submitting a ticket to the support team. I liked that it completed the calls without having to listen to the ring tones. It only passes the call to you if someone picks up. It makes making a lot of calls go by way quicker. We cut our inside sales staff in half but were able to have twice as many sales conversations. What do you dislike about ConnectAndSell? One area I feel has room for improvement is in the live transfer. Sometimes there is a slight delay in the system transferring over the call to my agents.
