 Because decision makers are hard to reach on the phone, most reps will give up after a few dial attempts. What we do at ConnectAndSell is get the decision makers on the phone for them. ConnectAndSell agents never speak to your prospect. Once the prospect says “Hello, George Smith here,” your rep is injected into the conversation in 1/5 of a second.

What do you like best?

We have really revved up our calling strategy. Instead of spending countless hours manually dialing throughout the day, our reps are now focused on strategic outreach while the platform makes 10 times the dials in less time. When a decision maker is reached, the teleprompter easily allows the team to refocus on the prospect. The manager side of the platform is great, allowing real-time coaching decisions to be made instead of waiting for a 1:1 when the intent and value of the coaching session is lost. What do you dislike?

The integration with SalesLoft needs some work, but the team has been with us the entire time ensuring that we get what is needed for our SDR's to be successful. You have to be careful of how much you use the platform, or you can easily run out of purchased dials which are not inexpensive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We needed a way to improve our connection rate. Grinding all day on the phones to only come up with 1, maybe 2 connections during the day can be demoralizing. This way of doing things does not lend to a higher conversion rate. Now we are getting more at bats with our connect rate increasing 5x which has led to more meetings. What do you like best?

Connect & Sell makes it so much easy to book appointments. Dialing for dollars is time consuming. With C&S you just wait while they do the hard part ... getting a prospect on the phone. If you are a top notch sales person, with C&S you get to focus on what you do best ... get appointments. No wasted time dialing, no frustration of trying to get through the gate keeper. C&S has more that doubled productivity! In addition, the C&S support team is excellent. They truly care about their clients and provide first rate service. They are highly responsive. What do you like best?

I've used CAS at several companies and what stands out to me is the way that your account team will go into detail to understand your business, provide you with coaching not only on how to use the tool more effectively to meet your needs, but also give you feedback on foundational sales tactics that will ultimately make you more successful. Every person I've interacted with, from Sales Development, to Account Executives, to Sales Leadership, Customer Success and Support have been at the top of their field. CAS has solved quite a few problems for me over the years - it's been a way for me to maximize outreach to my total addressable market, gain valuable data to create/adjust ICPs and increased efficiency for my SDRs. What do you like best?

The sales advice they gave in the up front meetings to get us to sign was sound. Their actual product and technology is broken and cannot deliver results. My sales people constantly had login issues, dropped calls, calls where the end person couldn't hear them, static, forced out of the system. It was constant bugs. What do you dislike?

They make you pay up front and then deny that they are having tech issues. They will make it seem like you are the only with troubles, won't fix the bugs and keep telling you to use it. If you try to get a refund they will refuse. Wasted $10K. DO NOT work with this company. They have zero integrity. Their technology is old and looks like it was built in the 1990s. It is rigged with bugs and not consistent bugs that can be fixed, but different ones each time you try to use it. Their tech support doesn't know how to fix itn and your account manager will take months to take you seriously. You will pay for something that sounds great and then not be able to use it because the calls won't go through, or bad call reception, or the wrong information shows up or your sales people won't be able to login (the list of problems goes on and on). What do you like best?

The output can be fantastic. The speed of dialing through a list and getting a meeting set is definitely the biggest ROI factor. Being in Operations, I also like that it cleans the data (we have triggers set up in the background to auto-DQ contacts who are no longer there, for example). What do you dislike?

The operational burden for us is pretty significant. We have a lot of territory movement so to keep the lists up to date, and populated with new names, there is a large lift on our operations team. The tool is definitely not a set and forget investment, it has to be well managed with a clear strategy and for a team without this bandwidth it might not make sense. Additionally, our team isn't familiar or comfortable with basic CRM functionality like using open tasks, so there is a large mentality shift and level of training needed to be able to use this tool effectively. If you have a team with an understanding of Salesforce tasks and events this can be an amazing tool. Definitely think about the data quality you have in the System because dialing the same company number for 100 contacts on the same list is definitely not something you want to be doing. What do you like best?

Effectively, consistency, & what seems at lightning speed, ConnectAndSell gets decision makers on the phone in literally a fraction of the time. I've realized an everflow of solid pipeline built w/o fail even during, if not, especially during downtime in the market when most believe it's near impossible to build pipe & create opportunities. One other note, support/customer service is high class & best I've ever experienced in the market. This has been key in my experience with this tool. What do you like best?

Connect & Sell shortens the time to meaningful conversations with customers. Doing this work manually would take much longer. It is also a platform that gives insights into your sales team's prospecting activity and enables enforcement to a metric. It also provides excellent coaching capability. There are two factors that contribute to your success with Connect and Sell. First, you have to "Feed the Beast" as I say. You need to build and replenish meaningful lists of contacts. We utilize a centralized resource in our organization to build out these lists given input from my field sellers. It's very important that you replenish contacts in those lists as you work through them. Second, compliance and enforcement is key. In general, sellers do not relish prospecting (not to mention cold calling), so you have to mandate a standard weekly usage of the system. For my team, I mandate a 3 hour usage standard for my senior account based reps and 5 hours per week usage metric for my emerging market/territory reps. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Connect & Sell solves the problem of initial phone outreach to customers. One of the outputs of using this system is a follow up list. That follow up list is a very high value list that can really contribute to opportunity progression. We have active deals in our pipeline after a very short period of usage. It's not just a solution for setting meetings. Many of my team members use it to gather critical information from their prospects and get internal referrals to other people in their prospect's organization. What do you like best?

Being able to connect with more prospects. The simple output of more connections = more deals is a simple one and Connect and Sell really delivers that. It can be a brain drain if you use it too much or for too long. You can't prepare for a call with it, so you have to be on high alert the entire time while you're on the tool or you'll end up having bad conversations. What do you like best?

Our reps went from being able to make 100 calls a day, to having the capability of making over 1K. The integration with Outreach is slick and makes for loading call task very easy. Rep efficiency is the main issue C&S solves for. What took all day, now takes an hour to do. This frees up the rep for more time to build lists, research, work accounts, ext.. What do you like best?

I love being able to invest 2 hours and have my calendar suddenly have appointments in it. I love that I can go on a vacation for a week and not feel as if I have to put in 15 hours for a whole week to catch up. There's a slight learning curve. It's absolutely intense, but fun at the same time. Going from talking to someone maybe once an hour to every 5 minutes takes some getting used to. This cannot be used by those who are timid. The best candidate to use this is someone who understands the grind of prospecting, the pain of manual dialing, and WANTS TO TALK TO PEOPLE. This system will connect you with people and the people, the Decision Makers you want to talk to. This should be a dream for Sales Managers and Trainers. Imagine only needing a two week ramp period instead of 90 days. With ConnectAndSell, you can have a rep go from zero pipeline to 50+ opportunities within two weeks. Spending all day grinding on the phone to connect with maybe 3-5 people and MAYBE get one appointment per day was driving me to serious burnout. I was never going to hit my goals by manually dialing unless I spent 15 hours per day dialing. Now, I can log in, and have a weeks worth of activity in half a day. I have a full calendar of appointments now and I'm hitting all of my goals. This isn't a cheap investment, however with one license, you can effectively turn one license into ten. I'd rather 10X one person and grow than hire 10 and train them all.

What do you like best?

Easy to load lists and start dialing customers. Great for automatically sending each user their dispositions after the call and weekly update reports. This tends to help manage the team. Also great for coaching with listening to active conversations with employees to improve day to day calling performance. Employees enjoy the use of this software compared to manual dialing. What do you dislike?

Sometimes there are issues delays in windows popping up or rarely users get disconnected at the same time. The support team is helpful but sometimes they default to the incognito mode on google chrome which the employees are aware of. Recommendations to others considering the product:

I recommend to accurately calculate your dial volume in a year, which can be very difficult at first. Additional to implementation of the software, ensure that you have accurate KPIs and ensure that you have constant follow-up. As a manager, you will be required to appropriately follow up with your employees to ensure that there is a positive return on investment and that your calling campaigns are done with purpose and experienced employees. ConnectAndSell is a huge time-saver for anyone making business calls -- saving not just "dial and wait" time, but time spent on invalid numbers, voicemail, gatekeepers and the like. Further, we've learned quite a bit from ConnectAndSell about what to say in the first seconds when we're connected live with the person we want to reach -- they are experts on this. What do you like best?

What do you like best?

If you need to make a large number of cold calls with a small team, this solution will make the calls for you. The list upload and list management features are easy to use. If you have a dedicated telesales team I can see how this tool is a perfect fit. It does take a lot of the manual labor off of the rep. The ability to listen in and coach reps is a great value add. You get automatic feedback on the rep's performance and your audience's response to messages. I like the ability to connect Salesforce campaigns for call lists. You are able to get through a large number of dials without putting the burden of calling on reps. (they outsource the calling to other people/bots... If used properly, this tool can help validate initial messaging and give your team a large number of at-bats. If you believe in cold-calling at scale, this solution is right for you. What do you dislike?

The technology can be glitchy. The experiences for the prospect are somewhat unusual at times and it is a very different skill set for the rep. The connection with Salesforce is alright but the fact that everything lives in separate systems and silos is less than ideal. The customer experience and call transfers are delayed many times and prospects will hang up based on delay. We ran into a number of issues on individual calls where the call quality would fall off, disconnect, or be weak/fuzzy on the prospect's end of the phone. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Decide on your GTM and align your software purchases to that strategy. If ConnectAndSell is a solution that fits your GTM, it can become a valuable tool. If you have a small team and are looking to increase dials this will give you that lift. Understand that dials do not equal dollars. List management is critical for your success. Also, the messaging component is a bit hokey but it does seem to work... until a prospect knows about ConnectAndSell and identifies using the same script/formula for your intro. That is awkward. ConnectAndSell gives me an ability to set an audience and guarantee that my reps will have a conversation with prospects in that segment. You are able to call through massive lead lists in a short amount of time. This is beneficial when you are either addressing a large market or are looking to learn about accounts and get an understanding of what accounts might be best for a more personalized approach. What do you like best?

What do you like best?

The system is seamless and allows you to maximize SDR efforts. Arguably turning 1 rep into 4! Not only is the system world class so it the support. Donny on the CS team got us up and running in no time and even took the time to share some best practices with our reps that he learned along his journey. our reps use this product daily and could not be happier. What do you like best?

Great dialing tool that guarantees conversations, which is a super important metric in sales development. Takes out the manual work and time of dialing. The customer success team is absolutely amazing. Seth Weinstock and Cody Killian have been instrumental in helping us to see success with the tool.
