## About Common Room
Common Room is an AI GTM platform that helps revenue teams — including Sales, Marketing, and RevOps — at mid-market and enterprise B2B companies move from fragmented buyer data to precise, AI-driven execution at scale. Most GTM teams operate on incomplete information, with reps toggling between tools and ops teams manually stitching systems together. Common Room solves this by unifying first-party customer data with real-world buyer signals into a continuously updated system of complete and trusted buyer intelligence, powered by Context360 (AI identity resolution) and AI waterfall enrichment across a 400M+ contact directory. Revenue teams use that intelligence foundation to put AI agents to work across core GTM workflows — prioritizing the right accounts, researching contacts, mapping stakeholders, and personalizing outreach based on real buyer context. A configurable Revenue Control Plane gives revenue architects enterprise-grade governance, permissioning, and managed integrations to design and scale AI-native GTM workflows across the business. Key capabilities include: -Complete buyer intelligence: Unifies CRM, product, marketing, and engagement signals with real-world buyer activity into a person-level, always up-to-date view of every buyer - AI agents across GTM workflows: Automates account prioritization, contact research, stakeholder mapping, data hygiene, and personalized outreach without adding headcount -Revenue Control Plane: Central governance layer for revenue architects to build, deploy, and scale plays with enterprise-grade controls and fully managed integrations -Embedded workflow activation: Delivers buyer intelligence and AI-guided actions directly inside Slack, email, Salesforce, browser extensions, and AI assistants — no behavior change required -Enterprise-ready at scale: Supports teams of 50 to 1,000+ reps across multiple GTM motions, eliminating the need for GTM engineers, enrichment vendors, or external orchestration tools

## Common Room Reviews
 ### 1. Common Room Brings All My Funnel and Engagement Insights into One Place

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 12, 2026

**What do you like best about Common Room?**

I’ve used many similar (though different) tools, and Common Room is the first one that truly addresses all of my needs in a single place. It covers everything from top-of-funnel intel to deep insights into account engagement. The information is rich, and the time I save is hard to quantify—because before investing in this tool, I simply wasn’t getting all the information that Common Room now provides.

**What do you dislike about Common Room?**

I’d love to see Common Room become a true replacement for traditional CRM tools.

**What problems is Common Room solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Common Room brings all of my most important insights together in one place, which saves me an incredible amount of time. If I don’t yet have an account plan finalized, or if I receive an inbound lead from a new account, I can quickly get up to speed and become an expert on the prospect simply by reviewing their account in Common Room.

 ### 2. Deeply Human, Deeply Connected: How We Understand Our Community

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ivan Z. | Co-Founder & CEO, Computer Software, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 09, 2025

**What do you like best about Common Room?**

Common Room feels like a natural extension of our philosophy at Notion: to build tools that feel simple and intuitive but are incredibly powerful underneath. It unifies the countless conversations happening around our product—from Slack and GitHub to Discord and Twitter—into a single, coherent timeline. This allows us to see the person behind the data, understanding not just what users are doing, but why they are doing it and what they need to succeed. The ability to identify and rally our most passionate advocates effortlessly has been transformative.

**What do you dislike about Common Room?**

As with any platform that aggregates massive amounts of unstructured data, there is an initial phase of tuning and refinement required to ensure the signal-to-noise ratio is high. Achieving that perfect, clean view of our community took some dedicated effort from our team.

**What problems is Common Room solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Common Room has solved the fundamental problem of community fragmentation. We no longer have siloed conversations we can't learn from. It has become the system of record for community-led growth, allowing our product, marketing, and sales teams to operate from a shared understanding of our users. This has led to more resonant product decisions, enabled our sales team to identify and engage with high-potential leads from our community, and, most importantly, has helped us scale the human, connected feeling that was core to Notion's early days. It helps us ensure that as we grow, we never lose the voice of the user.

 ### 3. Exactly What We Needed for Engaging Our Community

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Beryl C. | Digital Marketing Manager and Community Ambassador, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 08, 2025

**What do you like best about Common Room?**

I use Common Room Daily. It gives us a clear view of what’s happening across our community—Slack, GitHub, social media, forums, and more. We can see who’s active, what they’re talking about, and follow up when it makes sense. The segmentation and workflow features make it easy to reach the right people with the right content, whether it’s a webinar invite or a new blog post. What I appreciate most is how it pulls all these scattered signals into one place—it just makes everything easier to manage and act on.

**What do you dislike about Common Room?**

The core features are excellent, but the UI still has room to improve. Navigating between segments and workflows can feel a bit clunky at times, and some interactions take more clicks than you'd expect. Nothing deal-breaking, but a more streamlined user experience would make a great product even better.

**What problems is Common Room solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Common Room helps us solve two big problems: knowing who’s actually engaging in our community, and reaching the right people at the right time. Before, it was hard to track what was happening across all our channels —and even harder to take action on it. Now we can see the full picture, segment people based on their interests or behavior, and set up workflows to share relevant content or follow up when there’s clear intent. It’s made our marketing a lot more focused and a lot less manual.

 ### 4. Head of Sales Development

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kevin T. | Head of Sales Development, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 23, 2025

**What do you like best about Common Room?**

Common Room has become a critical part of how we identify and prioritize top-of-funnel opportunities. It brings together signals from multiple sources like Slack, GitHub, and web activity, then enriches that data to highlight which accounts are showing meaningful engagement. This gives us a much clearer picture of who we should be targeting and when. The member and account-level insights help us connect the dots across the customer journey, and we’ve been able to act on intent earlier and more confidently. It’s also a huge plus that we can tailor lead scoring based on the specific actions we care about. This saves time, helps us focus on the right people, and improves the quality of outreach across the board.

**What do you dislike about Common Room?**

While the platform is strong overall, there are a few areas where it could improve. The Prospector tool would benefit from more advanced filtering so we can segment and drill into the data more precisely. I’d also like to see more flexibility around user permissions. For example, I want to allow someone to enroll a contact in a sequence without giving them access to create or edit workflows. Right now, the permission levels feel too broad. Lastly, the HubSpot integration works but could be deeper and more reliable when it comes to syncing contact data and triggering automated actions. These are not dealbreakers, but improvements here would take the experience to the next level.

**What problems is Common Room solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Common Room helps us solve a core challenge in outbound: knowing which accounts are actually showing intent before they ever raise their hand. It gives us visibility into engagement across Slack, GitHub, our docs, and other channels, and brings all of that activity into one place.

This has made a big difference in how we prioritize outreach. Instead of relying on gut instinct or waiting for inbound leads, we can proactively target accounts that are already active and meet our ICP criteria. We use those signals to fine-tune lead scoring and focus our time where it matters most.

The biggest benefit has been higher-quality conversations earlier in the funnel. We are no longer guessing who to reach out to. We are starting with accounts that are already leaning in, which makes outreach more relevant and effective.

 ### 5. Missing Link Between Data Signals and Pipeline Generation

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Matthew L. | Revenue Operations, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 21, 2025

**What do you like best about Common Room?**

What I like best about Common Room is how it brings together signals from across our stack including website visits, community activity, and more into one unified view. As someone in Revenue Operations, it’s incredibly valuable to be able to customize how we surface and prioritize these insights based on our GTM motion. The flexibility of the platform means we can tailor it to our workflow rather than adapting to rigid tooling.

**What do you dislike about Common Room?**

What can be challenging about Common Room is that there’s a learning curve. It’s not fully plug-and-play. You need to understand how to navigate the platform and know what outcomes you’re driving toward to get real value. Once you’re up and running, it’s powerful, but initial ramp requires intention and a bit of upfront investment.

**What problems is Common Room solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Website Visitor Tracking and Deanonymization: Identifying and enriching visitor information to improve lead quality.

Product Sign-up Deanonymization and Enrichment: Gaining deeper insights into potential customers who have signed up for a trial.

Salesforce Integration: Seamlessly synchronizing enriched customer data and insights directly into Salesforce.

Integration with X, LinkedIn, GitHub: For deeper ICP (Ideal Customer Profile) matching and improved prospect identification.

Slack, Intercom, and Gong.io Integrations: Streamlining internal communications and leveraging recorded conversations for further insights.

Custom Workflow Creation: Facilitating tailored alerts, notifications, and sales plays.

Job Change Tracking: Identifying timely opportunities based on prospect career moves.

Dark Funnel Prospecting: Capturing potential opportunities that are not visible through conventional analytics.

 ### 6. Common Room is a helpful tool that definitely helps me do my job.

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tess L. | Enterprise Business Development Representative, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 20, 2025

**What do you like best about Common Room?**

I like being able to identify prospects that have recently started using Notion, as well as those who are "power users" or have recently taken certain actions that would make them a priority to connect with. It can also be the quickest way to get a sense of who / what teams within a company are active in Notion, which informs strategy and outreach plans.

**What do you dislike about Common Room?**

Common Room can be difficult to use from an UI perspective. Filters, segments, and tabs are not the most intuitive, so for those that don't use the tool a lot it can be hard to navigate. I would consider myself a power user and I still get frustrated sometimes when filters don't work as expected. There are also discrepancies in data (such as total users versus members) that can make it a less trustworthy source of truth, especially when trying to pull data to give to customers.

**What problems is Common Room solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Common Room is the only way we are able to efficiently understand Notion users in our accounts. This is a huge piece of our current sales and prospecting motion. We use Common Room to identify power users or new users, and those become some of our top prospects or help identify which accounts we should prioritize. Having this information helps us reach out at the right time.

 ### 7. Finally, Contact Level Visibility

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Amy V. | Performance Marketing, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 20, 2025

**What do you like best about Common Room?**

Common Room is able to provide contact level intent/social/web activity, which was a large gap for us before. I am now able to tell the sales teams who from their top accounts visited the website, exactly what pages they saw, and how they got there. Common Room also provides great account-based views, pulling in all known activity from mapped contacts, in addition to account assumptions from public information (strategic priorities, SWOT Analysis, earnings calls, open roles etc).

**What do you dislike about Common Room?**

Still some bugs being worked out, but support team has been extremely reactive, flexible, and helpful with workarounds and real-time updates. Would also be great to have additional tools to choose from in the "Tech Stack" filter for our specific use case (emphasis on competitive tooling).

**What problems is Common Room solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Main use case is mapping web traffic to contacts vs accounts. This give us a much better signal and better information to be able to help the sellers do more informed follow-up/warmer outbound.

 ### 8. How Common Room helped us grow our community and sales efforts

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Thomas C. | Head of Growth (Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, Partnerships), Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 20, 2025

**What do you like best about Common Room?**

We started using Common Room as a way to manage our growing open source community and customer base, not as a full CRM replacement, but as a helpful addition. The best part for us was how quickly we could get up and running. The interface is straightforward, and we didn’t have to spend much time training our team. The automation features really stood out, making it easy to scale our outreach and save time.

We also found the customer intelligence tools to be a game-changer, giving us a clear view of who was engaging with our community and highlighting potential prospects. Common Room helps us manage our sales funnel by pulling in signals from all over, so we always know who’s interested and when to reach out. It’s made our communications smoother and keeps everyone on the same page. Plus, prospecting is a lot easier now that we can spot high-value opportunities quickly and automate many of our workflows. The “set and go” features mean we don’t have to babysit every process, and we really appreciate how easily it connects with our other tools through its API.

**What do you dislike about Common Room?**

Sometimes, we notice that company information is missing or not quite right, and there can be duplicates in our data. The platform works really well overall, but it does require us to do some regular maintenance to keep our community and user data clean. These are small issues, but worth mentioning for anyone who wants their data to be as accurate as possible.

**What problems is Common Room solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Common Room solves the challenge of managing our growing open source community and sales pipeline by bringing all our user and customer data together in one place. It automates outreach and helps us quickly spot buying signals and high-value prospects. This saves us time, keeps our team aligned, and makes it easier to scale both our community and sales efforts. The platform also integrates smoothly with our other tools, so everything works together seamlessly.

 ### 9. Powerful and intuitive platform for tracking and engaging your community

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Erdem M. | Vice President of Sales, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 13, 2025

**What do you like best about Common Room?**

Common Room makes it incredibly easy to identify and engage with the people who matter most across all of our digital touchpoints. The interface is intuitive, the insights are actionable, and the way it pulls together data from different channels gives a full picture of our community. I’ve especially appreciated how easy it is to set up workflows to track engagement, tag users by segment, and take action quickly. The sales and support team has also been great any time I’ve had a question.

**What do you dislike about Common Room?**

Honestly, there’s not much to dislike. If I had to name something, I’d say reporting and analytics could go a bit deeper for power users. While the current dashboards are clean and helpful, having more customizable metrics or advanced filtering options would make it even more powerful—especially for larger-scale campaigns or stakeholder reporting.

**What problems is Common Room solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Common Room helps us centralize and make sense of all the conversations, mentions, and engagements happening across platforms. Before using it, we had no easy way to identify high-value contributors, track sentiment, or engage with users in a meaningful and timely way. Now, we’re able to prioritize outreach, segment our community based on activity or influence, and act on real-time insights. It’s saved countless hours we used to spend manually monitoring channels and has directly improved how we support users, nurture advocates, and spot opportunities early.

 ### 10. Extremely helpful and Visual

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Zach K. | Enterprise Account Executive, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 12, 2025

**What do you like best about Common Room?**

Common Room has been the absolute #1 tool that I use on a day to day basis with prospecting. We have a large, warm ecosystem of customers who we want to try to offer our enterprise offering for. Common room allows me to easily find these current customers and identify their usage, and then directly reach out via outreach sequence by enrolling them right from there. It's colorful, and visual, and makes the prospecting process so easy. I don't know what i would do without it.

**What do you dislike about Common Room?**

This is very specific, but when I click the, sort filters column, it resets the entire page, which is really annoying for losing my place in reports, but this could be easily fixed

**What problems is Common Room solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's helping me to easily identify who my most active customers are and do it in a visually engaging way. It also allows me to easily and directly push to outreach sequence from there.
