# What's the best internal newsletter software for small comms teams sending branded company-wide updates to 500+ employees?

ContactMonkey stands out for exactly this. One comms lead managing four different business segments credited its dynamic distribution lists with making internal emails look genuinely professional, plus scheduling everything from a single calendar instead of juggling sends by hand.

Axios HQ leans into its Smart Brevity format, with reviewers saying it makes company-wide updates easier for a large, busy employee base to actually read, backed by templates that keep every send on brand.

PoliteMail gets credit for working natively inside Outlook, which keeps the learning curve low for a small team, while still surfacing real read-versus-skim analytics.

List management would probably consume the most time for me at 500+ employees. Design templates can standardize the visual side quickly, but keeping distribution groups accurate across departments, locations, and employee changes becomes recurring work. I’d want lists to update dynamically from the employee directory or HR system so the comms team isn’t validating recipients before every send.
