Clinicient looks too cluttered and disorganized compared to WebPT or Raintree. I do home PT so I constantly have to reconnect to different wifi. But many times when I do this, clinicient will freeze and then I'll have to close clinicient and log back in. This will happen multiple times per day, which wastes time so I end up not using it until the end of the day. And sometimes, clinicient won't save my note so I have to redo it. For objective measures such as ROM/MMT of left and right knee, it won't let me make the right extremity a goal; only the left. Within a few days of using it, I was accustomed to it and could already tell that my documentation process was getting quicker. **What do you dislike about Clinicient?** The interface looks a bit outdated, but it does not impact the functionality. I do have issues at times with checkboxes - sometimes you can click one and the associated text does not get inserted. However, you can get around this by un-clicking and re-clicking the checkbox. **What problems is Clinicient solving and how is that benefiting you?** Clinicient gives you a quick, easy-to-read view of your daily or weekly schedule. They are very friendly & go out of their way to assist us. **What do you dislike about Clinicient?** The system glitches when there is a system update & we are unable to sometimes view the attachments we had previously updated. The system sometimes updates codes without out authorization & we have to go back & change it back. **Recommendations to others considering Clinicient:** It is a very helpful system. The color system is easy to use and identify. I like the different views available for the main schedule screen. The templates and subsections for evaluations are easy to navigate and fill as necessary. I like how you can make goals and goal subsets. I like the ease with which I can see current and past cases and associated notes. I like the exercise search feature. **What do you dislike about Clinicient?** I do not have the ability to change my preferences for which schedule view I would like to auto populate - for example it defaults to my week long schedule with weekends. But, if I wanted it to default to all of my current clinicians daily schedules, I would have to make that change every time I log back into Clinicient. I really dislike that I am unable to open the patient's chart for the day before they are arrived for their appointment. It makes it more challenging for me to review and/or preplan for their visit (known progressions, etc). It is helpful to be able to preload those in beforehand. I know the shield turns different colors when a progress report or re-evaluation is due, but it may be helpful to have a separate color code on the schedule for these visits. Again, it would be nice to be able to open the note and pre-plan. I would like to adjust the templates to list specific functional activities versus just limitation 1, limitation 2... like for our knee evals, it says "sitting tolerance, standing tolerance, squatting tolerance." This may just be our company and I can re-vamp with them when talking to whoever I need on my end. I would LOVE an auto-save feature instead of manually having to save every so often. I would like to be able to rename certain exercises for easier searching or add my own. I would like to be able to SORT my favorites per body part or diagnosis. This may also be an our company thing - but adding the PHE code to the new templates would be helpful! **Recommendations to others considering Clinicient:** Clinicient is a super user-friendly, easy to navigate, web-based EMR. It has all possible components of effective EMR that will keep you compliant with all payor guidelines and protecting your license. It allows for templates and customization. Utilization of customer support when issues arise was easy and the issues are resolved quickly. **What problems is Clinicient solving and how is that benefiting you?** The access to documentation system at my home computer is KEY for work-to-life balance. I love how it has linked telehealth capabilities versus having two separate apps - it helps streamline patient cases and interactions and makes it more user friendly. The ability to fax the notes directly to the physician's office is extremely beneficial and cuts down on front desk tasks. ### 8. The ongoing improvements make the program more intuitive. The drop downs help, not only with ease of documentation; but also they provide ideas for future therapeutic treatments. Having all pertinent patients chart information with a click, efficient and helpful to get notes done in a reasonable amount of time. **What do you dislike about Clinicient?** I don’t need to see “was trimmed”. For some reason I’m getting a message that ‘this therapist is not credentialed for the patient, when I am credentialed. It seems like a glitch. And I would love to be able to print my entered appointments from the calendar as a schedule but it only print screens and only part of the page that is visible can be printed. I’m hoping someone can program a pop up print screen, with the ability to print several weeks of scheduling. **Recommendations to others considering Clinicient:** I can recommend Clinicient to other therapists for sure to document their treatments. It’s been a vast improvement in facilitating decreased time spent formulating language, treatments and calculating treatment units. **What problems is Clinicient solving and how is that benefiting you?** Therapy ideas, each new patient has new challenges and the listed treatments really helps jog my memory. Seeing how the treatment units change helps me to understand better how to time my treatments while working with the patient. ### 9. Revenue Cycle Managers love analyzing data and the reporting mechanisms allow me to filter all of the information to tailor fit my needs. **What do you dislike about Clinicient?** In order to filter detailed information, the system must be complex. Training does not end with the first couple of weeks but is on-going. Being a novelist with this system, I am constantly searching for ways to complete my job. Even though there is training through the first 6-8 weeks, now that I am into the system 7 months, having additional training on the more complex issues would be extremely helpful. **What problems is Clinicient solving and how is that benefiting you?** We have had a few payment posting issues and Clinicient has been extremely helpful breaking down the steps to remedy the issues. This makes Clinicient very easy to use for documenting appointments, medical updates, and other information in real-time. Less time is needed following up with updates after the appointment and eliminates the need to take written notes and enter them later. This saves valuable time and reduces errors that could be made if completing the details at a later time. There are no written notes which could become a privacy or confidentiality concern. **What do you dislike about Clinicient?** Clinicient has very defined fields that can make it a bit more difficult to find information if you don't have names spelled correctly or you misspell other information. But overall. it is usually not a problem to use. **What problems is Clinicient solving and how is that benefiting you?** A great benefit of Clinicient is the ability for everyone to have access to the most up-to-date information immediately. All details are in one place for access in the office or on the road. When several therapists are treating the same patient, all therapists have the information including any recent changes. This increases communication and eliminates delays. Having one system allows for everyone within the company to use it. We have been able to create many templates that have made documentation more concise, quicker and compliant. The Clinicient support team is very responsive and always willing to troubleshoot any issues we have. They are constantly trying to upgrade the programs and enhance them with the latest technology. They also do a lof education on Medicare requirements, MIPS and hold weekly forums to answer questions and provide updates. **What do you dislike about Clinicient?** Some feature requests we put in on Classic are not getting done. I feel like all of your resources are only going into Insight Go but that is lacking some of the necessary features we use so we can't use it yet! Bring Go up to the Classic standards so we start exclusively using that program (Letters, all tasking features, etc.) **Recommendations to others considering Clinicient:** I recommend meeting with the Clinicient team and getting a hands on demonstration of the product. The team was very helpful in answering all of our questions. **What problems is Clinicient solving and how is that benefiting you?** Quicker, better and more compliant documentation. Standardized documentation across all clinics. Our billing has improved with better collections and less underbilling noted by our therpaists. Teh reporting feature is very helpful as well to help us monitor our patients. ### 13. It is more intuitive than other EMR platforms I have used in the past. Also, Clinicient is integrating with other platforms that make the patient and therapist experience more cohesive. I also appreiciate the regular webinars to learn about the Insight GO platform and townhalls with other users around the country - this makes it feel very collaborative. **What do you dislike about Clinicient?** Right now there are two platforms of Clinicient - Classic and Insight GO. I know they are working to transition everything to Insight GO, but there are some tasks that require the need to toggle between the two platforms which is less effecient. **What problems is Clinicient solving and how is that benefiting you?** The integration of Clinicient for EMR and KEET for outcome measures improves effeciency. We are also looking at partnering with Better PT as another way to integrate a scheduling platform with Clinicient to improve front desk effeciency. ### 14. Not the typical experience with most WORD documents. Reports are a monster and I would value a "productivity " report for reimbursement by the week, date range vs month end only. Automated appointment reminders are great. I like that we can fax chart notes directly to an MD from Clinicient and choose multiple doctor recipients at once. Color coding on the schedule and charting tabs make it easy to find what we're looking for. **What do you dislike about Clinicient?** Downside is that we continue to have issues with insurance authorizations from HMO's. Difficult to have the alerts work properly when multiple authorizations are involved for the same patient/same body part being treated. Also cannot bill out of Clinicient, but I believe our company used to have a paid version and does not any longer. Though the automated text and email notifications are a plus, I wish they were customizeable based on the type of appointment. **Recommendations to others considering Clinicient:** I would recommend people use the paid version to have the capabilities to bill through Clinicient and have access to other features. **What problems is Clinicient solving and how is that benefiting you?** Clinicient has not solved any specific business problems that we have. The biggest benefit I've noticed is that automated reminders saves us time at the front desk. It helps us stay organized with color coding appointments and charts, for ease of understanding the large amount of data we look at every day. ### 16. Poor search function on exercises - not utilizing names specific widely accepted in the industry - though this was improved greatly since the last update. No clear distinction between setting long vs short term goals for therapy. **What problems is Clinicient solving and how is that benefiting you?** Satisfactory pre-calculating billing codes once clinician enters timed minutes. Clear division of SOAP note format, allows for quick learning and identification of key pieces of information within the note. ### 17. I also like that I am able to click on the most recent note and change numbers rather than start from scratch every session when entering data. **What do you dislike about Clinicient?** I would love to have an auto refresh feature so that I don't have to worry about when I forget to click "refresh" during a busy day as well as the glitches that occur when I am saving notes. There are times where I sign a not and not everything saves. **Recommendations to others considering Clinicient:** I recommend using this tool to enter data and/or communicate with billing department in a setting such as healthcare workers. **What problems is Clinicient solving and how is that benefiting you?** The problems are primary with data not saving but I am able to complete notes so much faster than I ever had before with my old systems. I like that I can go into past patient files vs keeping paper copies. The program has been flexible and we are trying to make it more user friendly for the speech therapy team. **What do you dislike about Clinicient?** The program is catered more towards physical therapists and I am an SLP who has to use more free text space than I would like. Also, we were trying to modify appointment times to 45 minutes and the program was set to be on the 10 minute mark so we were unable to make this work for our program. **What problems is Clinicient solving and how is that benefiting you?** I have not used it to solve problems, but the benefits are that I am able to look back at past patients for reference and easily share records with next medical professional. ### 21. As a pelvic floor PT, sometimes all the tests and measures that I take are not all included in the preset so I would like the ability to type out more informaiton that is missing. **What problems is Clinicient solving and how is that benefiting you?** More efficiency with tracking patient progress and with highlighting important factors in a patient's plan of care such as relevant range of motion and strengthe measurements. ### 34.
