I enjoy that I don't need to worry about formatting or aesthetics of the agenda and minutes. Once the template is in the software, I worry about getting the agenda items and supporting packet materials attached. From there, I just hit the 'create agenda', 'create packet', and 'publish' button, and it automatically appears on our website fully formed. This process takes an extra step out of the agenda and packet posting process. I don't have to contact our website administrator and then wait for the materials to be posted by our website administrator. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
For background, the agenda templates are uploaded in word format to create the word and pdf versions of the agenda and corresponding packet as well as in HTML and both need to be edited to have a consistent agenda formatting template. Now the issue. With the COVID-19 pandemic last year, I had to adjust the preamble to the meeting agendas with guidelines on what was and wasn't safe for participation in the meeting, according to the CDC's everchanging guidelines as well as state, and our county health department guidelines. The changes to the template were OK with the word and pdf versions of the agendas. Still, with the HTML versions, if the template is changed, it changes not just any meeting agenda in the future but also goes backward and changes the template for all past meeting agendas. This has caused an issue with the public. I've put in a ticket and was told it is on their radar of fixes, and I hope it can get addressed soon. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
