ChurchBooks3 Desktop Reviews & Product Details

ChurchBooks3 Desktop is church accounting software installed on a Windows computer (Windows 10 or 11). It is a separate product from ChurchBooks3 Online, the browser-based version: Desktop keeps your church's financial data on your own computer and works without a constant internet connection. It is powered by Microsoft Access and is best for churches that keep their books on one main church office computer. ChurchBooks3 Desktop handles fund accounting with a full ledger, budgets, donation tracking and year-end contribution statements, membership and family records, attendance tracking, employee and payroll records, check printing, custom letterhead, and financial reports including Balance Sheet, Income vs. Expense and Budget vs. Actual. Every Desktop plan includes every feature. Plans differ only in length of service and level of support. Each includes assisted installation by a ChurchBooks3 service manager, a complimentary 30-minute training session, software updates during the service term, and technical support. Backups are saved to your computer or a USB drive. Pricing: fixed-term service plans from $99/year, or a one-time $399 Lifetime plan. Free 30-day trial, no credit card required. Need multiple users, remote access, online giving or Givelify import? Those are part of ChurchBooks3 Online, listed separately on G2. Desktop and Online use separate databases, and there is no automatic transfer between them. ChurchBooks3 has served churches since 2002 and is built by Hanner Communications of Bear Creek, North Carolina.
