Also, it is quite complex to learn, which is the flip side of it being so adaptable. **What problems is CatBase solving and how is that benefiting you?** It integrates with our ERP and pulls data straight from a MySQL table, so we can then place that in an InDesign document. Now that it's set up, this makes creating new versions of our Buyer's Guide a lot easier. ### 2. Simple publishing direct to websites or to pdf. Does what it says on the tin. Powerful features for list production, data sorting, email generation, diary management. Helpful and quick customer service. They always take a positive approach to additional requirements or suggestions. **What do you dislike about CatBase?** Hard to find anything to criticise - and we've worked with CatBase for 12 years now. **What problems is CatBase solving and how is that benefiting you?** We publish web directories from large specialist databases. CatBase has provided an essential tool for our business. ### 3. Speed. **What do you dislike about CatBase?** We use QuarkXpress and are running into difficulty as the Em-Software Xtag plugin is no longer being issued for Quark. If Catbase could issue a Plugin or an alternative export that would work with Quark, that would solve a whole world of issues. **What problems is CatBase solving and how is that benefiting you?** Time- and labou-saving device ### 4.
