"Cacoo a friendly diagramming tool"

4.5/5

What do you like best about Cacoo?

Cacoo is a versatile and user-friendly online diagramming tool that excels in real-time collaboration. What I like best is how effortlessly teams can co-create flowcharts, wireframes, mind maps, and network diagrams, all within a clean, intuitive interface. It supports simultaneous editing, commenting, and revision history, making remote teamwork seamless. The variety of templates and integrations with tools like Google Drive, Slack, and Confluence boost productivity. Its cloud-based nature means access from anywhere, without worrying about version control. Overall, Cacoo stands out for making visual communication and collaborative design both efficient and enjoyable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Cacoo?

Limited Advanced Features: While Cacoo is great for basic diagramming, it lacks some of the advanced features and customization options found in more robust tools like Lucidchart or Visio, which can be limiting for power users.

Performance with Complex Diagrams: When working on large or highly detailed diagrams, Cacoo can sometimes lag or slow down, especially in browsers with many open tabs or lower system resources. This can hinder productivity during intense collaborative sessions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Cacoo solving and how is that benefiting you?

Cacoo helps me solve the challenge of working on diagrams collaboratively without the hassle of emailing files or losing track of changes. With its real-time editing and commenting features, I can work with my team seamlessly, no matter where we are. This has saved me time and made communication much clearer during projects. I also benefit from its wide range of templates, which help me start quickly and stay organized. Overall, Cacoo makes it easier for me to visualize ideas, get instant feedback, and keep everyone on the same page during planning and design work. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Lightweight diagramming tool with room to grow"

3.5/5

What do you like best about Cacoo?

I really appreciate how easy it is to start working with Cacoo right away. The interface feels intuitive for anyone familiar with collaborative tools like Miro or Notion. I also like the template variety — it's a quick way to get going without starting from scratch. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Cacoo?

Onboarding feels a bit fragmented — helpful elements like Cacoo Academy or demo calls are not easily discoverable. I also experienced some friction when following links from onboarding emails — I was prompted to log in again even though I was already active in the tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Cacoo solving and how is that benefiting you?

Cacoo helps me quickly visualize and communicate ideas in a collaborative format without the overhead of heavyweight tools. It's especially useful for early-stage thinking — whether it's mapping product strategy, building user journeys, or aligning with stakeholders. The simplicity of the interface means I can focus on content and flow, not the tool itself. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
