**Reviewed Date:** February 16, 2022

**What do you like best about C++Builder?**

C++ Builder is an excellent complier , it's ability to complile programs is remarkable. It makes the building of complex business application very easily. I build a wide range of application for native use using the builder. It makes building commercial applications very easily and assures that thes applications are secure from competitors. The most helpful part about this complier is that its an open source for windows. You can use many languages as you want. it has a wide range of libraires , this makes life so easy. The UI interface is just amazing , this has helped me build the most amazing designs ever for my clients
One of the benefits of using this complier , is the ability to run applications on many interfaces like Windows,IOS,Andriod; this makes the life of a software developer so easy not having to learn several programming languages for different consumers saving massive time and increasing the reach and popularity of the product in the market hence making more money. It also takes lesser time and less memory usuage in the computer.The complier helps scale massive complex products in themarket faster.Making it very unique and different from other C++ compliers. The user interface is usuable require your a professional or your used to the C++ language. The builder also gives you the ability to connect over 20 datbases like MariaDB,Oracle and so on.The framework is completely optimised for high performing native applications . It's the best i used so far.

**What do you dislike about C++Builder?**

The least helpful aboutthe C++ Builder is the interface , it combasome,not user friendly . There are so many options and functions on the plateform that maybe difficult to understand for a newbie . Videos on how to use the software are not well explained , makes kit hard to use the software and exploit maximum abilities

**Recommendations to others considering C++Builder:**

If you're considering using the C++ builder application, I will advise if you are a beginner to watch youtube videos on how to use the software so that you are more familiar with the software and not discouraged when using the software for the first time. Also, master the language to be more effective when using the application. For advanced software developers, it's excellent software to use. It will make your work easier, help you scale your business, enlarge your market, and run programs faster and effectively with amazing designs.

**What problems is C++Builder solving and how is that benefiting you?**

C++ Builder is solving the problem of scalability and enlarging the view, the scope of commercial products used worldwide. It provides every user the ability to consume products due to it being an open-source application that can run on many different operating systems.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Donarius C. | President, Computer Software, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 06, 2018

C++ Builder has the power of C++ and the it is easy to do the user interface for your applications. You can write one set of code that runs on Windows, Mac, Android and iOS.

**What do you dislike about C++Builder?**

The help is just barely adequate. It could be easier to find the explanations for each function. More examples would also help.

**What problems is C++Builder solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Several applications have been developed. e.g. database, utility programs and a software installer.

  ### 13. C++ Builder

**What problems is C++Builder solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Compiler, debugger, code editor

  ### 14. Great IDE but flakey

**Rating:** 2.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consumer Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 23, 2018

**What do you like best about C++Builder?**

Rapid development environment and great VCL library. It provides some very good API hooks and routines that make prototyping rapid and very functional. Very easy to test new looks and concepts.

**What do you dislike about C++Builder?**

Moved up to Tokyo10.2.3 (I've been w/this platform since Borland TurboC) and the previous and new product is flaky. Help-Search does not function (Confirmed as a bug by TecSuport); the forced use of Explorer breaks IDE start-up functions (Confirmed as a problem & they can't find why by TecSupport). Documentation is close to non-existent. If you already know the precise routine name you can look it up. If I knew it already I probably would not need to find it! While it advertises support for Android & IOS it is very hard to find and may involve new purchases.

**Recommendations to others considering C++Builder:**

Have a good test bed, save work constantly.

**What problems is C++Builder solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Rapid App development

  ### 15. C++ Builder review

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in E-Learning | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 27, 2018

**What do you like best about C++Builder?**

It is easy to use 3rd party DLL's/libraries with C/C++ headers and templates are very powerful.

**What do you dislike about C++Builder?**

Third party component vendors don't always understand or support it.

**What problems is C++Builder solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Memory management is very simplified using the RAII idiom and it has support for boost libraries and other template based libraries.

  ### 16. Decent IDE with support for lots of easy cross platform development

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Doug B. | Senior Software Engineer, Transportation/Trucking/Railroad, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 05, 2017

**What do you like best about C++Builder?**

VCL is way easier to use than MFC ever was and those components were reprogrammed to be useful for Android and iOS (and now Linux), so writing a cross platform app should be super easy, especially if you already know the C++ builder platform

**What do you dislike about C++Builder?**

It's had some stability issues. Before the 10.1 update, we had projects that would fail to link unless you restarted RAD Studio or your computer. One time I had closed Outlook and then my program started linking. They have since fixed that issue, but there are still some problems that require you to close your project and reopen it to fix it. Not a big deal when you realize what they are, but you can be left scratching your head if you are unaware of the problems and you might think it was your changes that caused the errors.

**What problems is C++Builder solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Compiler, debugger, code editor

  ### 17. Produce better software in less time by using C++ Builder

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 07, 2016

**What do you like best about C++Builder?**

I am super impressed and appreciative that I can use this one compiler with all platforms and that it is actually a consistent developer, and it's FAST!
I am in love with the multi-device designer, I only have to create the basic UI ONCE!!!

**What do you dislike about C++Builder?**

I still have issues using the Active X. It's super frustrating that Inprise doesn't seem to be able to level (RAD)out/keep up with newer Windows as fast as Microsoft can. It takes too much tweaking to work with C++ Building.

**What problems is C++Builder solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I took an important project from a C++converted a major project from a C++ framework. I have been able to
make major feature additions and design improvements so much easier.

  ### 18. Developing fast

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 23, 2016

**What do you like best about C++Builder?**

GUI - It contains the Visual Component Library, which makes building user interfaces very simple. The drag and drop option allows programmers build nice, fast and easy.

C++ compiler.

**What do you dislike about C++Builder?**

It only has versions for Windows and OS X. There is no version for Linux.

**Recommendations to others considering C++Builder:**

It is worth trying. You do not need to be an expert to use it.,

**What problems is C++Builder solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Building applications.
