What do you like best?

I like the interface and the ease of use from going from one record to another or one type or record to another type. This is the biggest one for me. It looks great and they’ve done a good job with this in my opinion. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

I dislike how it feels so clunky sometimes. I really feel they could have made the system work even better and even quicker. The time it takes to open multiple tabs and how there is a “Close all tabs” button near the bottom really annoys me! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Sometimes our issue is opening multiple client and candidate records at the same time and being able to track the specific CV submissions. By using Bullhorn we are able to track them explicitly and follow the journey from prescreen to client submission and to hopefully a placement. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best?

I have used Bullhorn for a little over 3 years now, and it has been easy to use ever since. There are so many things you can do within Bullhorn ATS and many integrations that can be done with other companies as well (ie: LinkedIn, Spark Hire, Etc.) There are so many things to love about Bullhorn! I love that i can keep track of the recruiters calls by running a simple report, we also use the reports tab to send out our own call log reports in the mornings as well as a job posting report so the recruiters are aware of how many jobs they have posted through Bullhorn. We use Bullhorn ATS to directly update our website with open jobs which is nice for anyone who wants a quick overview of what we have open at the time. We also are integrated with Indeed, so any jobs we have in Bullhorn we can publish to Indeed and they will be available to candidates there as well which is a plus. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

There are not many things that i dislike within Bullhorn, but one thing i wish could be done is: being able to change the dates of submissions if you made a mistake on the date for whatever reason. sometimes Bullhorn will glitch and have some issues, but they are usually always quick to get them fixed! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

I would 10/10 recommend you try out Bullhorn, it is a one stop shop for all things staffing and recruiting. The ease of use is my favorite thing to teach our new recruiters who come in and have never used bullhorn before. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We use BH as our main database,so we have benefited from our wide contact and candidate lists within Bullhorn. We benefit from being able to go into the database and find candidates for our jobs, and finding our clients for any open jobs we may find elsewhere. We benefit from the different reports i can run to help gauge how the recruiters are doing, and to collect data for year end. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best?

It's super easy to create tearsheets that allow me to track candidates who are qualified in specific areas. The "recruiter report" which tracks my goals is great and easy to understand. Taking notes and updating files is user-friendly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

Bullhorn slows down often. It would be beneficial for Bullhorn to retrieve resumes from my companies website/LinkedIn. Other ATS systems such as eRecruit did that and it was a time-saver. Also, it would be nice if I could publish job postings and not only my boss, would be beneficial. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best?

Bullhorn is a user-friendly platform for end to end recruiting. It is very it delivers updates of software regularly and provides an efficient customer care service. It can be easily executed and function many properties at once. It is all in one tool that is used for many purposes such as listing candidates, tracking the files and record or everyone, and establishing important information. It is associated with other platforms i.e. Outlook and Gmail. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

It has no integration with iOS or Android mobile apps and The interface becomes very complicated and fussy due to numerous features. the task of creating multiple notes and shortlisting status using Bullhorn is very monotonous. Reporting issues make it difficult for you to do reporting using Bullhorn. It does not offer access to generate an excel sheet mainly from the tear sheet and you are unable to print list directly from it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Bullhorn is the easiest tool to use for the recruitment process and it is user-friendly, quick, and reliable. Different teams can communicate and cooperate in a well-organized manner through Bullhorn. The interface is very supportive while tracing the candidate’s record within a few seconds. What do you like best?

Bullhorn has capabilities to integrate with most 3rd party software and build in new tabs (i.e., LinkedIn Recruiter Pro). Also love that you can navigate the database from your cell phone browser and call/email/text directly from there. The marketplace partners make it so there are plenty of new options. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

Can’t customize the main page, only start up screens or digging deep to access built in widgets. Updating the system based on client changes in requisitions can be redundant and there is not a perfect marketplace VMS integration tool that services all of our clients. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

For a recruiting company, this is the premier option for recruiting and account management. This allows for a seamless delivery to clients, candidates, and recruiting/sales management to monitor KPIs on the back end. With the customization Bullhorn has available, this is the go-to within the industry and a staffing firm that goes in a different direction is making the wrong decision. What do you like best?

Bullhorn is a cloud-based system for the management of customer relationships. This tool is easily reachable at anytime, anywhere, through any device. The user interface is up-to-date and spontaneous and it is intended to function the way humans do. It captures and documents every collaboration to make you know what is happening at your accounts. It mechanically evaluates captured information and assists in providing intuitions in real-time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

Though the tool is web-based, it often fails to operate efficiently over a mobile device, and many times, the loading time is a little slower. Shortlist status is not useful in the recruiting process because it is very boring to make several notes and shortlist statuses. This software is a little bit old fashioned. A lot of connects and buttons make the TextKernel hard to use in Bullhorn. Occasionally, the applicant’s data takes a little more time to load properly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

It delivers the users with the information captured and client intuition skills that permit them to obtain the most advanced and powerful data at the user’s fingertips. This empowers them to the whole thing they require to gratify the customers and make them joyful. Bullhorn facilitates more than 10K customers and almost 350,000 users and the software solutions are employed by many of the world’s major services initiatives to support drive sales progress, increase service distribution, and boosts up actions. What do you like best?

I like the usability and the ease of getting through the different options that are provided. They explain the recruitment process very well and I am able to mark the status of my candidates very accurately. The font and the labels used are very easy to understand. The technical support is always present for me to reach out to them and this makes sure that I am not left hanging. They have different options such as handouts, client submissions, interview setting, feedback after interview. This makes it so much easy to train someone who is new to the whole market. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

At times, the comments or notes can be deleted by a super user. This creates a confusion within the team and the ownership of the candidate is lost. Another problem I faced is that we could add the same candidate multiple times and thus create a duplication of the same entry. This is a redundant aspect and I wish this could be rectified. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

If you are in need of a recruitment application tracking system which is easy to learn and to operate, I would recommend you Bullhorn ATS. The helpline and tech support is also commendable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

I use Bullhorn for recruiting needs, to schedule interviews, to add feedback for candidates and also to submit them to the hiring manager. The benefits is that I can directly send sms' to the candidates' profile and also send bulk emails in case I need so. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best?

The user interface is the easiest of all the other application tracking systems that I have used till date. There are so many add-on features like setting a reminder, adding extra notes, etc. The one feature I really really loved was the fact that I could pin the labels of the lists that I use constantly. It also used to show the most recent labels or rows that I had opened up, which ideally makes it a breeze to work with when you are multi-tasking Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

I would have like a feature which would let me share a profile with another bullhorn user rather than copy pasting the bullhorn id of the candidate separately. There should be an in-built function within the same candidate profile which will help us in internal sharing of candidates. I also wish there was more implementation of Artificial Intelligence. I am not sure where and how they can be implemented, but yes a little bit of AI would be good too. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

If you are in need of a hassle free and easy to use ATS in the market, please give Bullhorn a try. I recommend you its benefits and you won't regret using it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

I use Bullhorn ATS and CRM very heavily as I am a recruiter who also does account management work. I can update the status of candidates, enter the interview feedback, schedule interviews (internally) with hiring managers, etc. The main benefit is that since Bullhorn is already so popular they require little to no training for someone who has little background in using this. Also the fact that it is customized depending on what look you want, makes it so much more dynamic and not boring Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best?

Bullhorn was an integral aspect of work for a recruitment firm where I worked until 2018. Our small team of recruiters utilized the software every single day, and it worked incredibly well for the purpose of what it was designed for. Not only did it aid in the full-cycle hiring process... Critically - the system differentiated the candidate from the client. The updates that occurred to the technology over the 4 years I used it actually made the software even better. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

On occasion, and this was rare - the servers would go down, so the team was unable to utilize the platform. This would never last more than a few hours, at most. I'm sure the developers at Bullhorn work hard.

There are also filters and features that are a little excessive- however since the database is so modifiable - you can either exchange the fields or disregard features completely. For me, largely an administrator as well as a user - found the arrangement of data useful and the analytics incredible.

Lacking in the ability to parse a resume with graphics - since the plugin would pull text without formatting; any Word document or other CV or resume file that was built with comprehensive graphics or tables would fail or appear jumbled. There was the ability to program in a company letterhead and footer, pull identifiable information from the candidate's document... but it never worked to the point of being client-ready. I lacked the coding chops to program it - would have involved to get it right (pull text, page breaks, general HRXML etc.) For what it's worth, the system is accessible and with enough customization available that one day I could have fixed this process.

(I'm not sure if this is contract specific - but hosting graphics online publicly, even for a simple logo - wasn't really an option either).

Finally, it was also difficult to search the database in BOOLEAN - which is worth learning as a practice but not necessarily easy to master. I know a few team members had voiced complaints about this. It is probably the most specific approach to data search, though. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

Keep your database clean and accurate! Quarterly email campaigns to clients (and subscribed job board updates for candidates) keep your list up to date. The better your records, the easier work becomes. Over time, this only becomes even more true. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Bullhorn ATS became the home base of work. It served as an order management system - though industry would coin it as an ATS because of its resume capabilities. It's remarkably well-written software. ATS have a bad rap for taking the human out of the recruiting process. This is so one-sided. When someone posts a job, it's remarkable what is received in return. One thousand employees, I recall one executive job advertisement pulling in over a weekend... an ATS takes qualifications and makes them searchable to a database. The better ones, like Bullhorn; will attempt to match them to the job itself, creating a short list of qualified candidates. Of course it isn't perfect, it even requires two separate groups for a recruiter to vet through all applicants; but overall it is a time saver and a very useful product. During my 6-7 years as a Recruitment Consultant I have used many ATS systems, including but not limited to Bullhorn, Invenias and Profile RPM by Microdec. Bullhorn is by far the cleanest looking and most up-to-date and modern ATS that I have used. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

Bullhorn Novo (the latest update) I felt was a bit of a step bag in terms of user experience - it looks lovely and visually very impressive but there are certain things about the update that have actually made my workflow a bit more complicated (not by a lot, but maybe adding one or two extra steps to the process) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

If you're on the fence about moving to Bullhorn I would definitely push you to take a trial, the software is genuinely brilliant and makes the recruitment process so much easier. Coupled with the dashboard with displays lots of data around what you, and your wider team have in the pipeline and how many CVs sent etc, it is easily the best recruitment software I have used in the last six years Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Bullhorn allows us to track our live vacancies, our client contacts and the candidate pipeline, as well as being a cloud based database for all of our data. I like how simple it is to use once you learn it. Learning it can definitely be a little overwhelming but I have found that the longer you "play" around with it, the easier things become. This is definitely a system that becomes easier with use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

Sometimes searching candidates can take longer than I would like. For example, if you have more than one candidate with the same name, only a few will populate and you will have to type things out in a different way in order to pull every single candidate and then sift further. It's easier when you have contact information but when you just have a name, then it gets complicated. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best?

It is very easy to find and add companies and contacts to the system and too add notes to update the system. The diary encourages users to be organised with dates or it will get out of hand. There is also useful graphs and features that allow you to find out local companies, KPI's etc. You can also alter your prospect lists to only include contacts that you need to contact to save time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

If not trained properly on the system, it could be easy to miss features and get the most out of the appliance and if you are not organised (not all people are) then the diary can become unmanageable and information could be lost. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

I would ask for bullhorn to provide you with a demo of the appliance first and then see what your competitors are using but from my experience it is a great product and would definitely recommend to any vendor who is looking for a CRM system or having issues with their current vendor.
