I love how seamlessly Whale integrates with Yardi and how easy the platform is to use, with a very straightforward setup process. The Whale team was extremely hands-on during implementation and continues to be responsive and supportive whenever we have questions or need assistance. It has saved us so much time operationally; being able to collect and refund security deposits electronically has eliminated the need to cut and track physical checks. One area that could be improved is additional reporting within the platform for tracking and internal reconciliation that can be exported from Whale. I'm a California landlord and I've always been concerned about proper handling and management of security deposits. They are also the only part of my management process that isn't automated or digital. By moving my tenant's deposits to Whale, I'm no longer concerned about the liability, interest and accounting concerns/hassels AND, now when a tenant moves out, all I do is click a few buttons and the move out process is complete.
