Search/filter tools and the fresh and clean design of the platform help reduce confusion about where all our assets are and help us push out more content to our audiences. **What do you dislike about Brandfolder?** Uploading and editing assets are still time-consuming due to the number of collections we have to add new assets to, in addition to all the fields/tags we need to add. Need to find a way to un-merge assets, as it is easy to accidentally merge some that are not supposed to be grouped together, and you have to re-upload them again to correct the mistake. **Recommendations to others considering Brandfolder:** Great tool to centralize all of your files and assets, to help define and elevate your brand and customer experience, and to improve your team's productivity and internal organization **What problems is Brandfolder solving and how is that benefiting you?** We are improving all of our workflows internally and sending out marketing emails/materials/ads much faster and easier due to the variety of sharing tools that Brandfolder offers. Before, we would spend too much time on making sure all of our assets were uploaded in the correct places on our shared drives, multiple times, which led to confusion and added work for both our team and customers. I started using it to manage the digital assets of my team, and uploading items, changing collections, and sifting through assets has turned into a seamless process. I am a pub manager, so use it for customer-facing email blasts and product information that helps educate staff. We are a larger company that experiences quite a bit of change whether it is branding/logos or the ever-revolving & evolving beverage product list usual for a brewery/pub. It makes it easier to be able to pull from one catalog (out of the multitude of communication platforms we have) and feel confident on the image or information stored there. This of course is related to the person in charge of our account, however Brandfolder has made it easy to see and find what I am looking for. **What do you dislike about Brandfolder?** Due to my fairly basic use of this program, the only critique that I have encountered would be the search function. It seems easy enough to type in a word and see all images or products that are related to that word, but I have noticed that images of different categories with the same searched word do not get recognized. I will type in the name of a beer and will see certain package images, but I have to run a more involved search to find the same beer's specific "sales sheet". The searching of items could be easier to use and more inclusive across all images in program. **What problems is Brandfolder solving and how is that benefiting you?** Simply for my position, it creates a single place for all company-appropriate images to be sourced from. It's visual, it's easy to use on the back and the front end. Currently, new uploads go to the end but in most cases I'd like if they were shown at the beginning. I love Dropbox but Brandfolder is better for FTP/sharing-type usage. Everyone has access to all our assets and resources, and it's easy to update and keep current. Our team was tired of using shared drives to find things (Dropbox and Google Drive). Just having the search feature is worth the sticker price, which is also very affordable. It saves time, is easy to manage and has great customer support. Never once had an issue. **What do you dislike about Brandfolder?** Some of the smart tagging features aren't as powerful as they could be. I feel like the AI is limited. At times Brandfolder will autotag an asset with something generic like "font," though that has nothing to do with the asset. There is no way to turn this off or calibrate it, so it adds useless data. Annoying, but harmless. **What problems is Brandfolder solving and how is that benefiting you?** The clearest problem solved was the "single source of truth." Now, we rely on Brandfolder almost 100%. In many ways, it has even made our internal server a bit obsolete, when it comes to sales and marketing resources and assets. ### 27. The default sorting method should show things by date added (newest) so that it is easier to find recently-uploaded files.
