# What is the best software for improving employee engagement in the service sector?

<p class="elv-tracking-normal elv-text-default elv-font-figtree elv-text-base elv-leading-base elv-font-normal" elv="true">Hi G2 users, I have been looking into the best software for improving <a class="a a--md" elv="true" href="https://www.g2.com/categories/employee-engagement">employee engagement </a>in the service sector after noticing how different engagement looks for teams that are constantly on the move or working across shifts and locations.</p><p class="elv-tracking-normal elv-text-default elv-font-figtree elv-text-base elv-leading-base elv-font-normal" elv="true">In these environments, it feels less about formal surveys and more about staying connected in real time, sharing updates, and making sure people feel included even when they’re not in the same place.</p><p class="elv-tracking-normal elv-text-default elv-font-figtree elv-text-base elv-leading-base elv-font-normal" elv="true">Some tools that seem relevant for that kind of environment:</p><ul>
<li>
<a class="a a--md" elv="true" href="https://www.g2.com/products/connecteam/reviews"><strong>Connecteam</strong></a> – mobile-first app that keeps teams connected across shifts</li>
<li>
<a class="a a--md" elv="true" href="https://www.g2.com/products/blink-blink/reviews"><strong>Blink</strong></a> – simple frontline communication that’s easy to adopt</li>
<li>
<a class="a a--md" elv="true" href="https://www.g2.com/products/workvivo/reviews"><strong>Workvivo</strong></a> – adds a communication and culture layer</li>
<li>
<a class="a a--md" elv="true" href="https://www.g2.com/products/workhuman-social-recognition/reviews"><strong>Workhuman Social Recognition</strong></a> – focuses on recognition and appreciation</li>
</ul><p class="elv-tracking-normal elv-text-default elv-font-figtree elv-text-base elv-leading-base elv-font-normal" elv="true">If you’re in a service-based setup, I’d be interested to hear what actually works in practice. What fits naturally into a busy shift, and what tends to get ignored?</p>
