## BP Logix Reviews
  ### 1. Boost your business with BP Logix

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jan M. | Partner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 26, 2023

**What do you like best about BP Logix?**

Prototypes can be swiftly tested by users, who can also offer suggestions. Making modifications is easy, giving developers more time to communicate with customers and improve the product to satisfy their demands. Instead of waiting months, the solution can be fully created and implemented in a few weeks.

**What do you dislike about BP Logix?**

We have experienced inconsistent results in our user synchronisation while using the system. These problems can include new users not showing up as anticipated users not being deleted as intended and incorrectly filled nested groups.

**What problems is BP Logix solving and how is that benefiting you?**

BP Logix is addressing my company's problems with the help of solutions like workflow customization and back-office process optimization. This has greatly increased our production and efficiency. We have been able to automate operations that formerly required hours of our time thanks to the minimal code automation tools provided by BP Logix, which has saved us both time and money.

  ### 3. Great BPM product

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Adam G. | Senior Director of Information Technology, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 03, 2021

**What do you like best about BP Logix?**

Easy to create responsive forms. Powerful, easy to configure built in tasks. Quickly prototype a working version of a form and process that is exactly what the users are asking for. Users can easily test prototypes and make suggestions. Changes are relatively easy so you spend more time talking to users and refining to give them what they actually want and need. Fully develop the solution and have in use, in production within a couple weeks , not months.

**What do you dislike about BP Logix?**

Documentation could be indexed better. There is usually the exact thing you need well documented somewhere. Finding it is not always easy.

**What problems is BP Logix solving and how is that benefiting you?**

In addition to back office processes like timecards, travel reimbursement, equipment inspection we have created many powerful integrations with our ERP constructed using no-low code built in tasks. Automated many common transactional tasks that previously required multiple user steps into a single Process Director online form. With user entry of just a couple fields, process director does the rest. It fetches data from other systems users previously had to look up. Then all from a single form with a few fields, we create PDF documents recording transactions (including embedded pictures, save then to the correct SharePoint directory (or create the directory as part of the process), update our ERP system, alert internal and external users with emails. It cuts one transaction's processing from 3-5 minutes down to 30 seconds.

**Official Response from Chad Egelhoff:**

> Thank you for the great feedback, Adam!

  ### 4. Great Customer service, easy to use

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Robab S. | Quality Reliability Program Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 10, 2021

**What do you like best about BP Logix?**

I enjoyed working with BP logic team. They were always ready and willing to help. And I did need a lot of help since my project was outside of their typical use case and needed custom codes or innovative solutions to enable the features that my organization required. I liked the monthly updates and webinars to keep up with the changes. It was easy to learn and use the application.

**What do you dislike about BP Logix?**

Some of the training materials were outdated and did not reflect the ongoing changes/updates. I wish they had more example codes.

**What problems is BP Logix solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We were able to move our New Product Introduction application from SharePoint to BP logic and build live indicators to track and monitor the health of our process. Very quickly, we were able to increase our TPT by more than 50% with added efficiency and more visibility to possible future delays/issues.

**Official Response from Chad Egelhoff:**

> Thank you, Robab! We are continuously working to build out more options for learning and training and look forward to sharing with you. We appreciate the positive feedback.

  ### 5. Great product with a lot of potential but a few essential shortcomings.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Higher Education | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 03, 2021

**What do you like best about BP Logix?**

Process Director provides developers with the ability to do just about anything and create efficient and customized processes and fit any need or requirement. The system's flexibility is it's greatest strength. With Process Director you are just about able to do anything you can imagine it, you just need to know the intricacies of the system.

**What do you dislike about BP Logix?**

The lack of a working internal active directory user sync solution. Throughout our use of the system we've experienced unpredictable results in our user sync, from new users not appearing to users not being deleted to nested groups not being properly populated. This is something the company continues to perfect and have offered other solutions to address the issues but which remove automation of the user sync process.

While it's flexibility is a great strength, and this might be a low code platform, learning how to develop solutions effectively in Process Director has a steep learning curve.

**Recommendations to others considering BP Logix:**

Powerful business process management tool that allows you to make your organization run much more efficiently,

**What problems is BP Logix solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are bringing paper processes into a digital environment, providing electronic automated solutions for the university such as absence requests for staff, lab reservation and requests, purchasing as well as other academic needs such as Graduate progress reports. We are also using this platform for student management systems as well as academic office processes. The benefits we've seen are time savings, accuracy in information, readily available customized reports.

**Official Response from Chad Egelhoff:**

> Thank you for your review, we will take this feedback into consideration as we continue to evolve our product from a capability and usability standpoint. Our product training courses are a good way to lessen the learning curve!

  ### 6. Customized Process Director Daily User

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 10, 2021

**What do you like best about BP Logix?**

There's a lot to like about the system itself, which we have been able to customize in a multitude of ways to address our needs. But my favorite thing is the great people at BP Logix. They are understanding, responsive, and very happy to work with us as much as possible to ensure we are satisfied.

**What do you dislike about BP Logix?**

There are a few small things we would like the system to do that it is not capable of doing. When engineering needs to make more substantive changes, that is typically a long slow process. Recently we have had problems where development and the testing systems have not matched, and that made testing a long, painful process.

**Recommendations to others considering BP Logix:**

BP Logix is an excellent company with a solid product. While there are other products out there that can do more, it's hard to find one that can do as much, at the cost.

**What problems is BP Logix solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use it to keep track of our vendor process from start to finish which includes asset management, purchase order production, and the contract process. We can keep track of workflows and keep track of everything for recording keeping and audit purposes.

**Official Response from Chad Egelhoff:**

> Thank you for the kind review. We are proud of our people and love our customers!

  ### 7. BP Logix review

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Vincenzo F. | Finance Assistant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 21, 2021

**What do you like best about BP Logix?**

I like how it produces and markets AI enabled low code development platform for custom digital applications. I like that the company provides automation consutling.

**What do you dislike about BP Logix?**

There is really nothing to dislike about this product it helps run, build and monitor and improve your business process.

**Recommendations to others considering BP Logix:**

It is a great tool and I highly recommend it

**What problems is BP Logix solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helped me run, monitor and improve my business process. It found all of the inefficiencies in my business process. I am definitely more productive since using this tool

**Official Response from Catie Leary:**

> We're happy to hear that BP Logix is helping you improve your processes! Thank you for the review.

  ### 8. Powerful platform for complex workflow processes.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Legal Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 28, 2019

**What do you like best about BP Logix?**

BP Logix has provided us a platform to build a range of automated workflows that have improved efficiency in HR, Accounting, IT, and other administrative functions at the firm. We like that we can have people using one application/dashboard to interact with many processes. The admin departments use custom views to manage the work after a request is approved.

**What do you dislike about BP Logix?**

Limitations to how arrays of data can be used within forms has caused us to rethink an number of proposed workflows.

**What problems is BP Logix solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Efficiency improvements in approval workflows. Hundreds of hours saved.
Improved transparency, people are able to track approvals etc. throughout a process saving time in requesting status updates.
Increased adherence to policies which are now enforced by the processes instead of people, who tend to forget and make mistakes.

  ### 9. Easy use but powerful tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Stephen F. | System Administrator, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 17, 2021

**What do you like best about BP Logix?**

Easy form design, you could use either word document with the plug-in or online editor to create your own form.

**What do you dislike about BP Logix?**

We hope the development team could add a nested array in the array system.

**What problems is BP Logix solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use BPLogix to deal with all daily student information processes, administration service work processes including but not limited to fiscal, IT Service, BookStore, facilities work processes.

**Official Response from Chad Egelhoff:**

> Thanks Stephen! We will put your nested array request into the backlog!

  ### 10. BP Logix is Fantastic for Quick Form Building with Lots of Options

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gage D. | Business Process Management Architect, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 11, 2021

**What do you like best about BP Logix?**

The versatility and functionality for form building is great. It has many options that allow you to manipulate the data from forms, as well as a plethora of conditionals and events. I think it's great for a setting that needs lots of forms, such as a university. It also has a pretty extensive process flow option, under the name of a timeline, which is fantastic in many different settings. It can allow a form to proceed through steps based on both conditions and timeframes, which increases the versatility even more. It even allows you to manipulate the data in the form from the timeline itself, which can be useful if you need to change something at a specific step.

**What do you dislike about BP Logix?**

I dislike the lack of control over certain things. As a programmer, I sometimes which I could use custom code to get something to work the way I want, but the system is very limited in that regard. You can use SQL, HTML, CSS and JavaScript, but it still has it's limitations even then.

**Recommendations to others considering BP Logix:**

If you want the ability to create forms that can be both easy and complex, yet easy to produce quickly, I think this is a fantastic option.

**What problems is BP Logix solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The biggest problem BP Logix has solved is the drawbacks of paper forms that have to be run all over a campus. With this, everything is digital and works even better than the paper forms. One of the biggest benefits is being able to easily see all the data across all the forms in what is known as a Knowledge View. This is vastly superior over having it on paper and then having to manually enter it into a spreadsheet or something.

**Official Response from Chad Egelhoff:**

> Thanks, Gage! We're happy to have you as a customer.

  ### 11. A short but steep learning curve hides a VERY powerful set of tools.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Scott J. | Applications Analyst, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 09, 2021

**What do you like best about BP Logix?**

Once you get your head round the terminology (which is probably different than whatever you call it) and know where to find what you're looking for, going from design of a process to implementation and end user consumption is really a fairly straightforward and simple-ish thing. It is definitely low code (you need to understand conditional logic but you're never actually writing script unless you need to do something the tools aren't designed for, and this is an additional module you have to pay for if you're a cloud customer), but you need a programmatic mindset to get the most out of it.

**What do you dislike about BP Logix?**

The learning curve, honestly. Two years in (I'm a technical implementation team of one) and there are still things that I'm learning about that I simply didn't know to look for. Functionality we brute forced that had a automatic counterpart we simply didn't know was there (and didn't know to ask about).

The documentation leaves a lot to be desired as well. Well, not the documentation itself, it's great - once you can find what you're looking for. The search engine in the documentation isn't the best and again, unless you know specifically what you're looking for, you're going to be hard pressed to find help outside of their support system. Probably 75% of my support requests (access to which is free with purchase) are simply answered with a link to the documentation (which is what I want).

I've mentioned the terminology thing several times now, so I'll give an example. You want a certain process to fire every Friday. Say it's a reminder that people need to fill out timesheets (VERY simple example). You search the documentation for 'reminder', 'automatically start a process', and 'schedule a task' among other things before finally asking for help. The reply is simply "that's called a 'goal'" with a link to the appropriate documentation.

Another; you want people to be able to submit a variable list of names and addresses (think vendor options for a large PO) with requirements on the number based on other criteria (is it already a contracted vendor, is there only one vendor that provides this product). As far as the main tools are concerned, most things are an html-based form. But to have a variable number of entries is called an 'array'. Makes sense in retrospect but I was being told 'no code' so I wasn't thinking in programmatic terms. Once I knew that, I could read all about it and take a stab at implementing it.

I guess to sum up, the greatest asset - there's a literal sea of content and functionality to build whatever you want - is also it's hardest feature to get through. It's hard to document how to play in a sandbox.

**What problems is BP Logix solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Organization, metrics, time saving for both end users and administrative staff.

One of our main goals with this project was to centralize our business processes so our faculty wouldn't need to guess where to go to get a certain thing done. So many of our processes just lived in someone's email. And there was always back and forth when information was missing or someone went on vacation, or someone wasn't CC'd on the right reply. Here, with the form and process well defined, an end user literally CAN'T START a process without having the appropriate information. Everything has an attached email alert, but it's also tracked and stored in the system. Anyone in the finance group, for example, can see how many invoice need paying at any given time and can click through any one of them to see what's been done with it. Nothing HAS to live in someone's head and/or email.

And then, as a small administrative staff, we've never really had a way to tell HOW MUCH work was being done. With the built in Knowledge Views tools, you can see SO much about any set of form instances and information about those various instances, as well as directly feed into charts and tables to tell us where bottlenecks are.

And then time saving should be obvious with the above two paragraphs. HR isn't fielding questions about where to submit invoices; our end users aren't spamming fifteen people with a question that's directly answered inside Process Director. Our finance folks aren't wasting time bouncing emails back and form because something is missing half the required info.

My one sentence summary to non-technical folks is that it's "like an IT help desk that directs you as to what information is needed to do a particular task and isn't limited to just IT issues; think things like paying invoices and hiring employees".

**Official Response from Chad Egelhoff:**

> Scott, this is some really great feedback. Will take this back to the team!

  ### 12. A powerful tool for building and processing forms

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Graham P. | Business Analyst, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 09, 2021

**What do you like best about BP Logix?**

The ability to design and build forms and also the ability view results quickly and easily. I quite often use the reference guide when I am trying to come up with a method to accomplish a task and often find my answers without reaching out for assistance.

Utilizing timelines to control the flow of a form and the processes that follow and being able to audit that timeline if items are missing or troubleshooting an issue.

Another thing I like about the form designer is the ability to view the source code of the form to make any adjustments.

**What do you dislike about BP Logix?**

I wish there was a way to see ALL of the fields properties and settings within the form view and not have to go to the form field listing to adjust if a field is required for instance.

I wish there was a debug mode for developers and not just administrators. As a developer, I need to get special timed permission in order to view logs for errors when troubleshooting.

**Recommendations to others considering BP Logix:**

Depending on the scope of your project, for more advanced applications, I would highly recommend writing down any areas you are struggling with and request some Direct Assistance time with one of BP Logix professionals. That is where I learned the most about the tools and features as well as some additional ideas on how to approach tasks

**What problems is BP Logix solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sharing forms and processes across other departments within our institution with rights varying amongst users. This is the greatest benefit that I have found by having that control over who can see and process what tasks. That has been a very valuable asset for us.

On that same note, the ability for it to integrate with Active Directory groups has also been a very useful benefit.

**Official Response from Chad Egelhoff:**

> Thanks for your great review, Graham. We will get this feedback to our product team!

  ### 13. Process Director is robust and easy to learn

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Laura F. | SharePoint Administrator/Applications Specialist, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 09, 2021

**What do you like best about BP Logix?**

I like the graphical interface, especially for workflows. I like to see the flow laid out. It's like Visio in that way. There are so many features, I haven't even tried them all! I They consistently update the product and offer new features. Machine Learning is one of the newer ones that I still need to wrap my brain around.

Process Director is mostly a no-code solution. However, if you do want to code, you can dig into web services and even create ascx forms - which you can manipulate till your coder's heart is content.

**What do you dislike about BP Logix?**

I like most everything. I do wish there was better documentation about how to work with some things. Timelines are first to come to mind. Not the bits and pieces that make up a timeline, but a how-to scenario from start to finish.

**Recommendations to others considering BP Logix:**

My advice it to definitely check it out. If you have processes that are still on paper and delivered via snail mail, Process Director will change your world. It's good stuff :)

**What problems is BP Logix solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We gather survey data from our clients, peer reviews within our company, we even have a PPE order form. And much more. The automation that Process Director allows saves us a ton of time.

**Official Response from Chad Egelhoff:**

> Thank you for the great review, Laura!

  ### 14. Easiness

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Karthik P. | Director of S/W, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 11, 2021

**What do you like best about BP Logix?**

Plug and play model is really good in BP Logix

**What do you dislike about BP Logix?**

Version control is missing and it creates lot of issues

**Recommendations to others considering BP Logix:**

I recommended to couple of friends about BP Logix

**What problems is BP Logix solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Employment Application using Onboarding, Electronic Work Order for our temporary staffing

  ### 15. Using Process Director to automate niche processes outside of enterprise applications

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Mining & Metals | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 03, 2021

**What do you like best about BP Logix?**

Process Director allows non-developers to develop process beginning to end without needing to be able to code, yet provides developers with the tools needed to extended out of the box functionality (e.g scripting, web services. integration to external data sources, etc)

BPLogix provides a customer portal where you can submit questions on how to use the application, download new releases and view release notes and access online documentation. The customer support goes above and beyond to help solve issues. If you are needing professional services, they offer DIrect Assistance (for an additional cost).

Process Director is a perfect fit to solve niche processes in our company that fall outside of our enterprise applications

**What do you dislike about BP Logix?**

While every software application has areas that can be improved, there are no parts of Process Director that I dislike.

**Recommendations to others considering BP Logix:**

Create a test environment and spend the time to learn how to migrate changes. This can impact on how you develop your processes.

**What problems is BP Logix solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Automating paper forms was the original problem we were looking to solve. Over the years, Process Director has evolved into automating niche business processes that are not covered within the company's enterprise applications. Automating our processes provides us with the visibility to know where you are in the process and eliminates the phone calls and emails back and forth asking "Where are we on this?" Process Director has allowed the business to take on more processes without having to increase headcount that a paper process might require.

**Official Response from Chad Egelhoff:**

> Thank you so much for your thorough review, and continued support!

  ### 16. An incredible tool that has allowed us to improve our business processes and data analytics.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Construction | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 03, 2021

**What do you like best about BP Logix?**

It's ability to extract data from our SQL databases of both our Accounting and our Project Management databases, allowing us to marry that data into customized forms that not only help save us time, but also allow those who may not normally have access to this data the ability to use it to improve their own role but also those who they oversee.

Our account manager also checks in often to ensure the product is still serving us well and shows they care about our happiness with their product.

**What do you dislike about BP Logix?**

Only minor problems really.

We do have some occasional performance issues, where the software will not properly respond, but this is generally a low-impact issue that primarily only affects the login screen.

A bigger gripe is that their support can ONLY be reached by logging into their support portal. They have a phone number and email for tech support, but it appears the phone number is unmanned and no one checks that email address. They still respond fairly quickly through the support portal, however.

Finally, it is frustrating that much of their system is built around the ability for users to develop their own scripts to enhance the functionality of the software, but it costs a fair deal extra to acquire the SDK license. By no means is it necessary to do this, as the vanilla software is well equipped for most things.

**Recommendations to others considering BP Logix:**

There are many different providers offering something similar to Process Director, but this was the only one our company found that gave us the ability to truly create what we wanted. Most other solutions offering cookie cutter setups that weren't as flexible in their use or applicability to our unique business (we are a specialty electrical contractor and there aren't many whose businesses align with our scope), but Process Director let us build what we wanted, nearly without restriction, and it has been a decision that we do not regret at all.

**What problems is BP Logix solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use Process Director to create email notifications when things happen in our accounting software, such as when a new job is created, when a purchase order is created, and more that we would not normally be able to have happen automatically. We also use it to condense data from multiple platforms into customized forms that allow us ways to analyze our data that would take hours of manual work to collect each time we wished to do it. The main benefit is better knowledge of ball-in-court and the ability to use our existing data in new, creative ways that we can use to improve our business going forward.

**Official Response from Chad Egelhoff:**

> Thank you for your in depth review! We appreciate the time you took to outline the value that you're finding with BP Logix. We will take your feedback into account for support options.

  ### 17. Great partners and amazing technologists

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Pharmaceuticals | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 13, 2021

**What do you like best about BP Logix?**

Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Desire to embed themselves in the business to really understands the needs.
Excellent solution design that is intuitive and sophisticated with minimal issues upon implementation based on experience

**What do you dislike about BP Logix?**

Lack of detailed tracking to a comprehensive list of what design elements are currently embedded into the system.

**What problems is BP Logix solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The triaging of critical documents for review per internal policies and SOPs. These processes have ensured compliance to our policies, have created efficiencies compared to prior system or offline processes, and cost savings due to these efficiencies.

**Official Response from Chad Egelhoff:**

> Thank you for the great review, we highly value your partnership!

  ### 18. Great tool to build, run, monitor and improve your business process

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Renu K. | Applications Developer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 15, 2019

**What do you like best about BP Logix?**

Process Director was easy to install and not many additional infrastructure capacity was needed. It's also easy to maintain. Deploying the processes to different environments is made easy by export & import features. The upgrades are straightforward and not time consuming.

The process timeline model over the traditional and complex flow chart model is innovative and easy to use. Complex business processes can be implemented with wide variety of custom tasks. Very convenient and low/no code solution.

Process Director gives the ability to see trends over time. It allows you to build, run, monitor and do continuous improvement easily.

The support staff and our Account Manager are very prompt and responsive.

**What do you dislike about BP Logix?**

I would like to be able to produce reports from templates to suit my users’ needs. While the Process Director forms and timelines can be built by a non-developer, the reporting tool requires prior knowledge and experience with some reporting tools. The Knowledge Views are helpful in querying some basic information but it can get tricky with arrays and it's slow in rendering data.

**Recommendations to others considering BP Logix:**

Process Director has allowed us to streamline our processes tremendously. It works well and ensures a great workflow between different departments. I like that they are always bringing something new and are open to suggestions.

**What problems is BP Logix solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use Process Director primarily to streamline our paper based processes, manual data entry, and approval processes.

  ### 19. BPM company that provides a solution and services that deliver on their promises

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shaun C. | IT Project Consultant, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 21, 2019

**What do you like best about BP Logix?**

Process Director delivers a very comprehensive set of functionality and in the rare cases where the product did not contain the functionality we required, we were able to extend the functionality through the SDK. The product is also very easy to install and maintain for those using the on-premise solution. However, one of the things that has made our experience truly great has been the very fast and comprehensive support we have received from the BP Logix team.

**What do you dislike about BP Logix?**

Limited ability to migrate form instances from one environment to another. Mainly an issue on complex long running forms where a restore to a prior state may be required.

**Recommendations to others considering BP Logix:**

The functional capabilities of the product far exceeded those of the other solutions we evaluated.

**What problems is BP Logix solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have re-engineered many business processes leveraging data across systems to reduce data entry, touch points, error rates, processing times and costs. We have leveraged the solution to compensate for functionality other systems lack. We have also used it as a rapid development platform to quickly respond to a critical issue that could put life and property at risk.

  ### 20. Ten years of growing with a fatastic forward looking product

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Michael S. | BPMS Administrator/Lead Designer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 06, 2019

**What do you like best about BP Logix?**

Low code: though you have the ability to use.NET and java script in development it is very rarley needed

intuitive development interface, high speed turn around,

fantastic support: the support you get from BPLogix is among the best in the entire software industry, they trully are interested in your success.

**What do you dislike about BP Logix?**

  ### 21. Great Low-Code Solution for Workflows

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 06, 2019

**What do you like best about BP Logix?**

Setting up workflows requires some technical knowledge, but does not require knowledge of any programming languages. A general familiarity with how variables work in computer programs is all that is necessary.

Drag and drop designs allow for the design of a workflow to look like a flow chart, with configurations within each step/line to tell the program how to behave based on different user inputs, who is logged in, waiting for email responses, etc. and that same flow chart look can be referenced to trace the path of a current or completed workflow

**What do you dislike about BP Logix?**

For some more complex configurations, small programming scripts are required. However, BPLogix Professional Services has always been able to provide quick solutions for me when these situations occur.

There can be some difficulty finding the exact workflow instance you're looking for when the same one is run hundreds of times per day.

No built-in automation for cleaning up old, completed, workflows. I've had to self-design cleanup routines to get rid of workflow instances more than x days old, as we had been saving every process instance for years.

**Recommendations to others considering BP Logix:**

This product still requires someone with a 'technical mind' to configure - not all departments will have someone that is able to create or change existing processes themselves.

**What problems is BP Logix solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Coordination of processes that involve multiple departments in different locations.

Automation of form filling & distribution that require the same information in multiple different documents that are delivered to multiple destinations, but have all of the information stored in a database not available to those destinations.

Trails of approvals that can be audited at later times to ensure compliance with various internal and external regulations have been extremely helpful in showing that the proper individuals have approved different actions.

  ### 22. A simple and easy to use software package that packs a big punch to solves unique business processes

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Mining & Metals | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 05, 2019

**What do you like best about BP Logix?**

- Easy for a non-developer to develop a process from start to finish, yet has the tools a developer needs to develop complex scenarios.

- Scripting capability with the SDK allows the software to be extended to meet your process when the out of box functionality doesn't fit your use case.

- Great customer support that goes above and beyond to help solve issues

- Direct Assistance is available if you need one on one help to solve unique issues

- When we were evaluating BPM solutions, Process Director was the only demo that actually presented a complete solution for our use case in the RFQ where other industry identified "leaders" in BPM were not flexible enough to provide a solution.

- Process Director is a perfect fit to solve niche processes in our company that fall outside of our enterprise applications

- Very easy upgrade process.

**What do you dislike about BP Logix?**

I don't have any dislikes that I can list since I have yet to find a scenario that Process Director doesn't have a mechanism to solve.

**What problems is BP Logix solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Initially we were trying to automate manually forms. BP Logix is now the main application used to automate niche processes in our company. These include Security & Compliance, AP, AR, Accounting, Inventory, Fixed Assets and Executive level processes.

  ### 23. Seamless integration with BP Logix Process Director Cloud Edition

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lisa C. | IT Finance & Contracts Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 03, 2019

**What do you like best about BP Logix?**

Very easy to use and intuitive. We investigated over 2 dozen vendor solutions before choosing BP Logix. Their initial demonstration utilized our templates which provided our user base with a level of comfort with the look and feel of the product. We have been using Process Director Cloud Edition for seven years and have had several new business processes that we have integrated over the years, and constantly look for opportunities to grow the product in our environment.

**What do you dislike about BP Logix?**

There is nothing I dislike about the product. We've had seamless integrations and upgrades. The technical support team is top notch.

**Recommendations to others considering BP Logix:**

I have recommended BP Logix to several companies looking to automate processes and develop business workflows. Very easy to use and develop with great user interfaces and intuitive tools. Great technical support team.

**What problems is BP Logix solving and how is that benefiting you?**

BP Logix Process Director Cloud Edition is an amazing BPM product. We have been using Process Director in the cloud since January 2012 and it has helped us become more efficient by automating our workflow processes including Capital & Expense Approval, Software Development Approval, Asset Management Disposal and Vendor Contracts Review/Approval. BP Logix has provided us with an opportunity to integrate these processes with our finance invoicing system, our asset management system and our SharePoint contracts libraries. We keep investigating opportunities to automate additional processes as the BP Logix Process Director integration is quick and seamless. What began as a need to provide a solution for our Finance department has expanded over the last seven years to include automated applications for our Legal, Facilities, IT and Operations Departments. We’ve achieved efficiencies, improved turn-around times, and provided auditable records and a reduced footprint by utilizing Process Director Cloud Edition.

  ### 24. Great Tool for Process Automation

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Construction | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 26, 2019

**What do you like best about BP Logix?**

Process Director combines ease of use with flexibility and extensibility to meet a wide range of process automation needs. The out of the box features have enabled us to automate a wide range of processes by building forms and workflows through simple configuration. The extensibility model has allowed us to write custom code to meet our more complicated needs. We are able to allow external partners and clients to participate in our processes through Process Director. We have integrated our processes with many of our existing systems, both home-grown and commercial application.

**What do you dislike about BP Logix?**

Although knowledge views (reports on process data and metadata) are easy to create, we have had performance problems on reports with very large numbers of rows and/or columns. We have addressed this problem by adding dynamic filters to the reports (to keep the row counts down) and by copying form data to an external database which we use with other report writers.

**Recommendations to others considering BP Logix:**

I strongly recommend that you give strong consideration to BP Logix if you are looking for a system for BPM and process automation. Its combination of a rich set of out-of-the-box functionality, ease of use, and extensibility make it a great choice.

**What problems is BP Logix solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have automated a large number of processes across the company, including engineering, construction, procurement, and human resources. Using Process Director to replace traditional paper forms has resulted in shorter process cycles, better tracking of process status, and the ability to search and report on the data.

  ### 25. BP Logix changed how we do business

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jesus M. | Document Management Supervisor, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 20, 2019

**What do you like best about BP Logix?**

Its very easy to use! We tried other form tools and learning how to build a form took some patience. With BP Logix's product we were up and rolling rather quickly. I've been able to turn around forms for 'emergencies' in a short time frame while having it connect to databases to pull in information for the user.

**What do you dislike about BP Logix?**

I would probably say the one thing I dislike is the amount of work generated after you've gotten a couple of big form processes in place. Suddenly users want everything turned around and made into an electronic form and its hard to turn them away.

**What problems is BP Logix solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We started with a reduction of paper file dependency and decided if paper was never created on campus we'd be ahead of the game. Its come in handy when we migrated to PeopleSoft and the e Form tool wasnt coming on line with the rollout. It eased a lot of the transition to a new IS.

  ### 26. Using BP Logix to increase business efficiency.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Insurance | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 16, 2019

**What do you like best about BP Logix?**

There have been a few processes we have tried to implement which required further support/development from BP Logix. They are always very responsive in getting us what we need to create process flows that improve our day-to-day functionality.

**What do you dislike about BP Logix?**

There haven't really been any downsides. I do wish that there was an easier way for a user to create reports without having to have a background in writing reports.

**What problems is BP Logix solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Using BP Logix we have been able to automate many processes that were previously done manually. That means no more paper files moving from one user to another with no way of tracking. We have greater visibility into the work users are doing and an easier way to gather performance metrics.

  ### 27. Great software to manage all types of processes!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Machinery | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 20, 2019

**What do you like best about BP Logix?**

I love that an Accountant like myself is able to build a form, timeline, emails in a matter of minutes without the help of our IT department. BPL has helped us to streamline manual processes into automated ones and also leaving an area for document retention and reporting.

**What do you dislike about BP Logix?**

I wish that that there was a Q&A section on the customer portal that would allow for other customers and our self be able to interact and solve any issues we are having. Sometimes when a request is made, there is a lot of explaining that needs to happen since we do not utilize the software in its entirety due to the "IT" knowledge of our self.

**Recommendations to others considering BP Logix:**

Organization is key right from the beginning.

**What problems is BP Logix solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We used to have the problem where people did not know where a Word or Excel form was and who it needed to be signed by, which lead to us having many audit findings since the proper processes were not being seen by the right people. So with BPL we were able to set up how we know the approval process should go and now its able to be managed and we haven't had any audit findings in regards to approvals.

Tool is not very flexible as far as customizations especially with UI. The existing UI is dated.

**Recommendations to others considering BP Logix:**

They should definitely be on your shortlist of products to review for BPM. The team is very strong and engaged.

**What problems is BP Logix solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The facilitation of internal review of advertising and promotional material. Tool allows configurable workflows allowing for global and operating company requirements.
