Established in the Netherlands in 2023, Bondfish is a financial software platform designed to help individuals invest in bonds more efficiently. Bonds are presented as an important part of a balanced portfolio, offering diversification, more stable long-term returns, and an alternative to traditional bank deposits. The platform allows users to search and filter a database of more than 50,000 bonds, review credit quality data, and check which brokers offer each instrument. It also provides access to Bond Pick reports prepared by investment advisors and sends a weekly bond idea by email. Bondfish includes several tools for portfolio management: an AI chatbot trained on the platform’s data, an AI-based portfolio builder for automated construction and rebalancing, performance tracking, watchlists, and alerts. Users can export their data to Excel or CSV for further analysis.

What do you like best about Bondfish?

I use Bondfish almost every day, and I find it to be a highly intuitive platform that is easy to navigate. Most of the information I require is readily accessible, which streamlines my workflow. The bonds screener tool is particularly effective and, in my experience, offers a better user experience than some more established platforms. I also appreciate the top picks feature. Previously, I considered extending my subscription to our main database to access more specific fixed income-related informaton, but I now feel that Bondfish meets nearly all my needs. What do you dislike about Bondfish?

What problems is Bondfish solving and how is that benefiting you?

This is an excellent tool for exploring and screening bonds, especially when you need fresh bond ideas. It is also very useful for compiling a specific subset of bonds from a particular issuer and viewing all outstanding bond issues. What do you like best about Bondfish?

I use Bondfish mainly to search for bonds and to get new investment ideas, and I’m very satisfied with it. I invest from Italy, and their weekly Bond Picks helped me rebalance my portfolio - it now includes not only BTPs and other government bonds, but also solid euro-denominated corporate bonds. What problems is Bondfish solving and how is that benefiting you?

Bondfish solves one of the biggest problems in fixed-income investing: bonds are hard to find, understand, and compare, especially for retail investors. Traditional platforms are fragmented, unintuitive, and often designed for institutions. Information like yield, credit risk, liquidity, and minimum investment size is scattered across brokers, PDFs, and rating agency reports. What do you like best about Bondfish?

This is the easiest to use bond analytics platform I have encountered in Europe so far, it's much more convenient to compare bonds with it than with my broker's interface. We now use it for regular portfolio review. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We are a small business but we would still like to invest our spare cash into bonds (government and corporate). We do have a brokerage account, but with Bondfish, it's much easier to compare different bonds to build a small portfolio and not just pick one bond because it used to take too much time from our business priorities.
