I would say the connectivity of all of the different aspects of fund administration. That includes closing LPs, managing LP commitments, capital calls, accounting, LP communication, etc. The platform itself is probably the best I've seen.

While this is new and I'm still figuring out the best use cases, I also like that they've included an integration into Claude to help pull data and use for day-to-day research/analysis. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It can feel like they're running fairly lean when it comes to support. There's been a few times that it can take days to get answers back on fairly simple questions. I like our dedicated team a lot, but it does feel like they're stretched thin. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like that we have everything in one place, with easy access to documents and useful dashboards. Another highlight for me is the support from the Carta team. And, most importantly for us, we really value all the work they do on the accounting side, preparing the fund financials and coordinating the work with the auditors.

Pricing is a bit steep for a Latam fund because the local options (accountants and administrators).

I really appreciate Carta Fund ERP for eliminating the manual reconciliation I used to dread. Honestly, my main hesitation going in was whether a platform like this could flex with the complexity I deal with - multiple vehicles, co-invest, real estate alongside traditional funds. I worried it might feel too rigid. In practice that hasn't been the case, but it's the one thing I'd flag for anyone evaluating it: there's a learning curve up front to understand how best to structure everything on the platform to get the most out of it. I'd actually stop short of calling it significant - it was more that with multiple vehicles and structures, you want to take the time upfront to map out how everything should be set up rather than rushing in. Carta is the only interface I have found that puts pertinent real time information at your fingertips. The portal allows you to see all of your funds, gps, management company and spv in one place. You can see fund performance, capital deployed, number of portfolio companies, IRR, MOIC and more. It reconciles cash daily so you can get a live picture of your cash position. Carta integrates seemlessly with Ramp and other applications so you are not manually entering the data. Pricing is industry standard and definitely big ROI.
