"Integrates Seamlessly with Minimal Setup, Needs High-End Features"
4/5
What do you like best about Autodesk Forma (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud)?

I really like the integration capabilities of Autodesk Forma, which make managing projects smoother. The setup for the site was easy, which is a huge plus. The browser-based use is also very convenient as it doesn't require a high-end machine, making it accessible. I appreciate the unified life cycle data, as it helps in tracking and controlling accessibility. The initial setup was really easy, including accessibility and security options, which gives a sense of reliability. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Autodesk Forma (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud)?

I think Autodesk Forma could be even better with some enhancements. Offering virtual machine options would be great for companies working on large, complex files that require high-end computing power. This would allow them to handle big projects with more complications without needing high configuration machines. Also, having some offline functionality would be useful. Improvements in AI planning, better support for concept design, and test-fitting would enhance usability. Lastly, more compatibility with different file formats would make it a more versatile tool for various projects. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Powerful Connected Workflows, But Adoption and Module Integration Need Work"
3/5
What do you like best about Autodesk Forma (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud)?

What I like most about Autodesk Forma is the ability to bring design, coordination, documentation and construction workflows together in a connected environment. It provides greater visibility across the project lifecycle, reduces reliance on disconnected systems and helps teams identify and manage design and delivery risks earlier. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Autodesk Forma (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud)?

The biggest challenge is consistency of adoption across project teams. Forma has a lot of capability, but it can be difficult to get all stakeholders using the platform consistently and to its full potential. Some workflows can also feel more complicated than necessary, and there is still room for better integration between modules and clearer visibility of information across the project lifecycle. "Flexibility and Efficiency in Project Management"
4/5
What do you like best about Autodesk Forma (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud)?

I really like the way the different utilities of the program interconnect. It is very flexible when working with it. The management of ISO issues works really well because it is easy to assign issues, track them, and close actions in an orderly and concise manner. Additionally, the software is quite intuitive and easy to use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Autodesk Forma (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud)?

The export of documents with comments could be better. Currently, when you download documents with comments, the intelligence of the comment data is missing, which could be smarter. I would also like it to be possible to standardize a set of folders from the user side to apply them to different projects, instead of having to create the folders one by one. It would be ideal to be able to directly import folders with already created files and upload documentation within them, without having to select documents one by one. "Effortlessly Manages Projects and Data Sharing"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Autodesk Forma (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud)?

I like that Autodesk Forma offers a clear and user-friendly structure, allowing you to work at the right level and invite people to projects based on roles. The Desko Connect also works fine and suits our needs. It greatly helps in calibrating multiple projects and data, and bringing together models from Revit and Authorizk, including managing clashes, mark-ups, and comments. Moreover, the initial setup was very clear and accessible, not only for our projects but also for the external companies we collaborate with. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Autodesk Forma (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud)?

The 4D planning is an aspect that I believe needs further development, especially from a logistical standpoint. It seems to be in an early stage and could certainly use improvement. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless Model Handling, Time Saver!"
5/5
What do you like best about Autodesk Forma (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud)?

I love that Autodesk Forma allows me to easily access and open different versions of a model, which is great for tracking changes over time. It makes comparing different models effortless, helping us keep trades honest and track progress accurately. The speed at which I can open files in the browser saves me a lot of time, as I don't have to download anything. The integration with other tools also keeps the team on the same page. Additionally, I find it a lot more user-friendly and efficient in terms of usage in the field compared to other products like Procore. It’s phenomenal and has a look that I really like. Overall, it’s an amazing tool that makes my work more efficient. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Autodesk Forma (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud)?

I think that there are probably features that were not utilized and I think that we need more easy-to-access, in-the-moment quick tips, and suggestions, tutorials, things like that to help guide the teams along to know what they're looking for and actually use all the features. "I like it but there is a lot to improve in terms of making it easier to use."
4/5
What do you like best about Autodesk Forma (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud)?

Cloud shared models makes my life a lot easier vs storing models offline on a server. Backups are easy to recover, upgrading versions is smoother. Being able to compare changes from version to version is great. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Autodesk Forma (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud)?

It should tell me the current software version of my project. They need to get rid of the legacy systems and migrate everything to the new interface. It's really jarring seeing one interface for one project and a different one for another. It is hard to remember how to do simple things like set up auto-publish or archive projects since each interface is different. Overall the setup is still confusing between setting up teams, project and package publishing, markup systems. It's hard to navigate and use. Sharing files outside of my project is so difficult, it's easier for me to download the models and send a box link. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Integrated Approach with Visualization Perks"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Autodesk Forma (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud)?

I like Autodesk Forma's integrated approach that brings together different silos, creating beneficial connections between disciplines. Additionally, I appreciate the visualization capabilities and the studies, as they make it easier to present complex site and technical data in a graphic form, helping to explain things to the team and external stakeholders effectively. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Autodesk Forma (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud)?

It seems like there's room for improvement in the areas of interface. The product is clearly a 'bringing together' of different older legacy products and some of the ways that the software asks for information aren't quite smooth yet. Additionally, during the trial, there were certain limitations that were frustrating, like not having access to every aspect of the Forma Build platform. It felt very segmented which was not obvious right away, and this created some dead ends and challenges in understanding what was included and what required further subscription. This navigation of options could be improved. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless Project Management with Customizable Forms"
4/5
What do you like best about Autodesk Forma (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud)?

I like Autodesk Forma for its customization options, like customizing forms and creating issues and RFIs from the field. It's also great that the workflow options let me change the reviewer and approval processes depending on the project steps. Plus, the ability for the foreman and field team to access plans from their cellphones makes the workflow easier. Switching from SharePoint to Autodesk Forma improved our workflow, and the initial setup was easy, which was a pleasant surprise. Overall, I'm really happy with its performance and features. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Autodesk Forma (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud)?

I think the permissions could use some improvement; specifically, there are too many permissions that require admin access. It would be great if there were fewer instances where admin access is necessary. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Autodesk Forma: Easy to Navigate and Streamlines RFIs, Issues, and Document Access"
4/5
What do you like best about Autodesk Forma (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud)?

As a subcontractor who uses Autodesk Forma at the invitation of the General Contractors who hire us, I found the program to be easy to navigate the very first time I used it. It has a large number of features that make locating project documents and keeping them up-to-date straight-forward, submitting and viewing RFIs quick and painless, and even allows for submitting project issues to the design & GC teams in essentially 1 step. Pictures can be uploaded, and overall I find it to be a simple, user-friendly platform. This is extra important for subs, since we have to use whichever program the GC is using, and we don't have time to spend ages trying to learn a new program. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Autodesk Forma (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud)?

Currently, I haven't found anything about this program that I'm not happy about. It might be different if I was using it as the General Contractor's capacity, but as a subcontractor I've been very pleased. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Fast Setup and Smooth Performance with Minor Sync Delays"
5/5
What do you like best about Autodesk Forma (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud)?

I like how Autodesk Forma really decreases the opening times for drawings, making it very fast to work with complex files that have a lot of shortcuts and references. I appreciate the ability to see who else is accessing or editing the files, as it simplifies collaboration and reduces the risk of overlapping work. The feature that keeps a backup of deleted copies and allows access to previous versions is particularly valuable to me. If there's a major change that needs reversion, I can easily retrieve and compare different versions of my work, ensuring nothing important gets lost. It's a very nice program overall. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Autodesk Forma (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud)?

Sometimes you get a lot of errors with syncing, and it takes a long time to sync the files. It could be faster. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It would be great if there was a webinar or guide specifically about using BIM360 for design team model sharing. I get invites for many but they are too general and seem to be showing all the features.
