"Reliable core for AI-powered construction solutions, with room for developer experience improvements"
4/5
What do you like best about Autodesk Forma (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud)?

What we like best about Autodesk Forma is how it lets us build AI-driven capabilities directly on top of an open, cloud-native data model — three of our four platforms (BuildNova AI, Buildings AI, and TwinOS) integrate with Forma today. Its early-stage design and site-planning tools make it easy to bring simulation and compliance intelligence upstream, before costly decisions are locked in. The API-first architecture means our agents can read and write data without disrupting how our customers' engineers already work in Forma. It's genuinely one of the more integration-friendly platforms we've built on in the Autodesk ecosystem. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Autodesk Forma (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud)?

The main friction we've experienced is around documentation depth and consistency for newer API endpoints — as Forma's capabilities expand quickly, integration guidance sometimes lags behind. We've also seen some feature parity gaps between regions/markets, which complicates rollout for global customers. Rate limits and sandbox/testing environment availability could be more generous for partners building production-grade integrations at our scale. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A must have for you project"
5/5
What do you like best about Autodesk Forma (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud)?

Autodesk Construction Cloud excels in integrating teams across the project lifecycle, providing centralized data access, seamless BIM integration, and real-time collaboration. Its cloud-based platform ensures flexibility, while robust document control, analytics, and insights help streamline workflows and reduce errors, making it a top choice for construction management. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Autodesk Forma (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud)?

One common downside of Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) is its steep learning curve, especially for new users or teams unfamiliar with Autodesk products. The platform can feel overly complex due to its wide range of features, which might not all be necessary for every project. Additionally, some users report performance issues, particularly with large files or models, leading to slow load times. Finally, the cost can be a concern for smaller teams or projects, as it can be expensive compared to other alternatives. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"I am a Director of Digital Design and Account Admin on 145 current active BIM 360 & ACC projects"
5/5
What do you like best about Autodesk Forma (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud)?

Collaboration between multiple offices and multiple design teams from all around the world. Remote or in-house collaboration, model coordination, file management, versioning, live linking, sharing packages, consuming ... All works fine unless all design teams are on the same page and follow BEP. ACC app is also very helpful for on-site access or managing users and permission when out of the office. Being able to control permissions for consultants and 3rd parties is a plus. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Autodesk Forma (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud)?

BIM 360 interface had an option to upload project preview image. On ACC the project profile ID needs to be copied and go back to BIM 360 to edit the profile. Doesn't make sense. Families uploaded to ACC don't show their previews and won't display in viewer. That's a big issue to me. Why can't deleted project be deleted permanently? Can't add design team users prone numbers. As an admin I can't modify user info unless delete and re-add. But no phone # option. The same thing for Companies. No way to edit, add logo etc ...In model Coordination, I choose two models to show Automatic clashes. It shows 1040 in bottom left and 2130 in upper. It should be the same number in my opinion. Design Collaboration - Why do we always have to click in the three dots to open Project Timeline??? That's annoying. Library - Content Catalog features are very premature and don't give much control. More customization of collections would be helpful. Icons for collections folders for example and preview of the Content catalog from ACC. Missing Subfolders feature for collections is a big minus in my opinion. It's a very cheap adaptation of Unify. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What I like most about Autodesk Forma is that it provides a complete and integrated environment for managing construction projects throughout the entire project lifecycle. It is a powerful and robust platform, with tools specifically designed to optimize management processes and aligned with international standards. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Autodesk Forma (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud)?

I have not identified any significant drawbacks. The platform is very comprehensive, so new users may need a short adaptation period, but once implemented, it delivers a very solid and efficient experience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Good Product for BIM Coordination"
5/5
What do you like best about Autodesk Forma (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud)?

The sharing features through creating issues and setting up shared folder for Revit to Civil 3D coordination. The model coordination is a great tool to get all disciplines including Civil to run clash detection, it is more simple to setup though some filters are missing, than Navis. What do you dislike about Autodesk Forma (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud)?

The images, wish it looked more like BIM 360. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Directed BIM Implementation Strategies That Elevated Team Performance and Collaboration"
5/5
What do you like best about Autodesk Forma (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud)?

What I like most about Autodesk Construction Cloud is how it simplifies collaboration. As someone managing BIM design, having real-time access to models and issues in one place makes coordination smoother and decisions faster. It helps me keep teams aligned and reduces the back-and-forth, which is a big win on complex projects. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Autodesk Forma (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud)?

What I dislike about Autodesk Construction Cloud is that it can feel a bit heavy at times—especially when switching between modules or loading large models. Some features aren’t as intuitive as they could be, and it takes time to get everyone on the team fully comfortable with the platform. A smoother user experience would make a big difference. "Effortless Collaboration with Room for Improvement"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Autodesk Forma (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud)?

I appreciate Autodesk Forma's ease of access to information and its modern user interface. I really like being able to put information into a project template, which is then there by default for all new projects. The ability to track issues on sheets, PDFs, and Navisworks gives more accountability for getting things done. It creates easier-to-use workflows for our construction team compared to PMWeb. It also allows us to collaborate Revit models in the cloud easily and create a central source of truth that is easily accessible. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Autodesk Forma (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud)?

I really wish there were more options in the project templates, like having a standard submittal items list that can be added by default or submittal review templates. It's also a pain that most of the admin tools can't be accessed via the API and have to be edited in the UI. This limitation makes it tough to automate processes. We're also still working through the training part, and there are improvements needed from the Forma team, but we're making progress. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Streamlined Collaboration, Some Stability Issues"
4/5
What do you like best about Autodesk Forma (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud)?

I like Autodesk Forma for its hosted central models, where other disciplines can access, link, and publish updated versions. The model coordination throughout the lifecycle of the project is really helpful because it avoids clashes early on and allows for faster, more efficient collaboration. The initial setup was simple enough for our use case, which made getting started easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Autodesk Forma (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud)?

We tried using a cloud-hosted central model for our detail library, and it used to work and sometimes still does, but a lot of the time it will crash Revit when trying to insert view from file from ACC. When inserting views from file via a hosted central model on ACC, it will get to a point in loading the different views like a 70% progress bar, and then freeze up. The only way to get out of it is to force close Revit, potentially losing any unsaved work. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Streamlined Model Management with Live Review Capability"
3.5/5
What do you like best about Autodesk Forma (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud)?

I appreciate Autodesk Forma's ability to review live drawings from Revit, allowing us to open Revits directly without using up our time. It's great that we can publish models from the platform without opening Revit, and adding issues to sheets that can then be reviewed on the Web by designers which is really useful. I also like the issue push pin feature, along with the ease of reviewing sheets from Revit within a platform. Another valuable feature is the ability to review live sheets and make changes in real-time, which enhances our design review process. Working on the cloud platform to run clashes on our models and review sheets is particularly beneficial to us. Additionally, the initial setup was easy and straightforward. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Autodesk Forma (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud)?

I think we should be able to publish sheets more frequently. Currently, we can only publish once a week, and it would be great if we could do it more often. There are also some compatibility issues with some applications. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
