**What do you like best about August?**

I love how easy to use August is. It's super straightforward for a nontechnical landlord like me. The design is simple, and nothing comes close to how easy it is compared to the other apps I've used. I really appreciate getting notifications on my phone when I get paid. That's the kind of utility and ease of use I'm looking for. I can't believe how easy it was to set up. Literally, within a minute, I was able to get started by just uploading my tenancy contract, and the app automatically scanned it and added my properties and tenancy for me, even inviting my tenants. I feel really confident using August because it makes me feel supported and that my properties are all managed well. The app is great, really simple and easy to use, helping me be a better landlord and relieving my anxiety about compliance issues.

**What do you dislike about August?**

I really wish it had e-signing. That would be great, and I would love if I could buy my compliance certificates through the app, but otherwise, I'm pretty happy.

**What problems is August solving and how is that benefiting you?**

August helps me manage my rental properties, track rent, ensure property compliance, and handle tenant interactions, making me more organized and reducing legal stress.

**What do you like best about August?**

Everything’s in one place. I no longer have to dig through emails and folders to find certificates or tenancy documents. It saves me time. I only have a few properties, so I don’t want software that’s overly complicated. The app feels like it was designed for small landlords rather than large letting agencies, which suits me perfectly.

**What do you dislike about August?**

The notifications can be a little frequent if you manage several properties, though you can adjust them. A few more custom report options would be useful for my accountant

**What problems is August solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It solves the problem of everything being scattered. Before August I had emails, spreadsheets, and paper files everywhere. Now it’s all structured per property which has saved me a lot of time and stress, especially during tax season.

Now I get reminders and everything is tracked, so I’m much more confident I’m compliant.

**What do you like best about August?**

I really like how simple August is to use. It’s clearly built for small landlords rather than bigger landlords, which makes it much more relevant to me. For example the features a simple to understand. The compliance tracker is especially useful, it guides me through things like gas and electrical safety, licensing, and important tasks - so of which I must confess, I didn't know about as it's hard to get a clear picture anywhere about what you need to do. Having everything in one place saves me time, plus because of that I get suggested reminders from the app about the documents that I have stored their. The app is clean, easy to navigate, and the support team is actually helpful whenever I have raised a question.

**What do you dislike about August?**

It’s still a fairly new product, so some advanced features aren’t there yet. That said, it’s improving all the time and every month I notice new updates and improvements, so I feel confident it’s heading in the right direction.

**What problems is August solving and how is that benefiting you?**

August takes the stress out of compliance by reminding me about gas and electrical checks, licences, and important documents, which is important as I actually live in another city from them. I don’t have as much admin to do anymore. Hours of recording and updating my landlord stuff. It makes managing my properties a lot simpler.
