**What do you like best about ArkCase?**

ArkCase has lots of features and functionality out-of-the-box covering all of the tools needed for processing FOIA requests. The framework and layout are straight forward, descriptive, and easy to use. The implementation of the product was seamless. The simplicity of the user interface and the organization of tools replicating the process steps and workflow made training and user adoption easier. The application is very customizable, and the development team is very helpful in understanding and responding to new development needs. Moreover, the customer support team is extremely responsive and able to resolve incidents quickly and thoroughly.

**What do you dislike about ArkCase?**

Nothing that really stands out. There are several items on the roadmap, but one area of improvement would be with the OCR rendering process and versioning.

**What problems is ArkCase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ArkCase is used agency wide to process approximately 18K FOIA requests annually. It has enabled FOIA processors to be efficient and productive, and the overall management of our FOIA workload to be enormously successful with no inventory backlog for the past two years and counting.

**What do you like best about ArkCase?**

The capability to quickly and easily assign and unassign users to and from various groups. There is less navigating from one screen to another to perform your. When the user pause their work on a case, it is not difficult for the user to determine where to restart their work. The customer service is outstanding; they are very responsive when their are issues and questions. The support team has always kept us informed on the status of any ticket we had submitted. I never had to contact them to find out the status as I have and continue t do with another vendor's support team. The system is used heavily Monday thru Friday, and sometimes on the weekend too but we have and continue to have solid performance with ArkCase. The downtime has been minimal that the backlog of cases is no where near the number we had with the previous system, and these backlogs are not associated with the system being down.

**What do you dislike about ArkCase?**

The biggest dislike are the number of notifications users receive especially when a  user assign the case to the main group instead of the subgroup. This is especially an issue when a user review their dashboard and see data that are associated with their specific office reflected in their dashboard.

For the agency FOIA Program.

**What do you like best about ArkCase?**

ArkCase is a Good Case Management Software with the efficient Workflow Automation feature which proves to be useful tool for the organizations which aim to optimize their workflow processes and Improve efficiency. User friendly interface of ArkCase is intuitive and needs less training to adopt the platform. ArkCase is highly customizable and robust tool for case mgmt and track records. ArkCase provides the high order of security with its role based- access controls. ArkCase provides seamless integeration with efficient data exchange and collaboration across different platforms. Fast responsive and reliable support services provides better User experience.

**What do you dislike about ArkCase?**

Certain third party integrations are not readily available and need additional efforts. Implementation and maintenance requires dedicated resources in terms of infrastructure. You will find less online resources and forums related to user Community.

**What problems is ArkCase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It improved the overall efficiency of the organization while this platform includes great reporting and analytics tool to track the changes made to the cases, documents and workflow which really helped in transparency of the organization.

ArkCase does not offer seamless integration with several popular third party tools and services. This can make it difficult to communicate with your existing IT ecosystem and business processes, requiring additional effort and management.

**What problems is ArkCase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ArkCase provides me central repository for all contextual information, including documents, communications, and deadlines. This increases order and keeps me informed and updated, improving collaboration and case outcomes.

ArkCase has significantly improved our case management processes. The platform's versatility and customization options are its standout features. We were able to tailor the system to our specific needs, which made the transition from our previous software seamless. The automation capabilities have reduced manual tasks, saving us time and minimizing errors. The user interface is intuitive, making it easy for our team to adapt quickly. The customer support is also commendable; they are responsive and helpful whenever we have questions or encounter issues. While we've had a great experience overall, some additional reporting and analytics features would be a valuable addition in future updates.

ArkCase is solving several critical problems for our organization. Firstly, it has helped us streamline our case management processes. Before implementing ArkCase, we struggled with manual, paper-based workflows that were not only time-consuming but also prone to errors. The automation capabilities of ArkCase have drastically reduced the time spent on routine tasks, allowing our team to focus on more strategic aspects of our work.

**What do you like best about ArkCase?**

Out of the box it comes with lot of feature like Data Privacy, Drag and Drop builder etc. This all make it really quick to use a lot of feature.

Product support is the area where they have scope of improving. Even though its not that bad.

**What problems is ArkCase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use to monitor the vaccination programme in our local community. Later we expand it usages for lot of social welfare scheme.

**What do you like best about ArkCase?**

ArkCase is great if efficiency, ease-of-use, and solid support are important to you.  It delivers on all fronts.  The out-of-the-box solution can be easily configured to meet your complex business requirements and has a very user-friendly UI. The great thing is that if you can be up and running quickly and even if you have more complex flows, it is very easy to customize.  The fact that it ships with a large number of reports saves so much time so that you can use it immediately for analytics. If you want more, it has an extremely comprehensive reporting and analytics module that you can leverage to create complex custom reports. The sophisticated match request process is a huge time saver! It enables you to easily find duplicates before submitting the FOIA case so that you can reduce the number of requests that need to be processed/adjudicated. The AI/ML components also really help extend the automation capabilities for a number of tasks.  ArkCase for FOIA is a solid solution.

**What do you dislike about ArkCase?**

I have not found anything that I dislike.

ArkCase FOIA provides us with a solution that we can recommend when customers and partners are looking for a comprehensive and reputable FOIA solution.

You do not need to be a technical expert to use or implement ArkCase FOIA.  The PM  team is very knowledgeable and makes the process seamless.

We have been able to manage the request process more effectively which gives us peace of mind in knowing that we are remaining compliant.

The powerful workflows help make the entire process more efficient, saving time--and stress! The Arkcase team is extremely flexible and capable to help design solutions which can not only support but streamline complex workflows. Too many organizations rely on manual steps and do not have efficient processes.

So far, there is not much to dislike, as the benefits gained from adopting this FOIA solution have been numerous.

**What do you like best about ArkCase?**

ArkCase FOIA comes ready out of the box as a SaaS solution. Agencies processing FOIA requests can offload the entire infrastructure to ArkCase as this is a managed solution. With no overhead for various software licences, no need of hardware to support the FOIA platform, agencies can save considerable funds each year. 
The redaction feature is really powerful. It can recognize PII and redact them automatically. There are rules in place that help find and mask out other sensitive information covered with one or more legal barriers.  And the redacted version is a physically new file that is being sent out to requestors. There's zero possibility of hacking these files to remove the redacted stamps and expose the hidden information. 
Using a low-code configurator,non-technical staff can update workflows and forms  if and when needed, making the FOIA agency less dependent on technical staff or tech support from ArkCase themselves.
One of the favorite features of ArkCase FOIA is its powerful eDiscovery search. Finding relevant information in data and meta-data is quite easy. ArkCase FOIA can also search for words or mentions even in video and audio files. It has the ability to recognize different people talking in recordings, and annotate who said what, and provide timestamps that you can click and you're taken to the exact moment in the video where the searched phrase is being used.

**What do you dislike about ArkCase?**

The user interface could use improvements. Although being a SaaS, the company is regularly updating the software, so there's less to not like. 
More guided tours or video guides would come in handy to onboard staff to use the software. Although ArkCase is offsetting this with regular demos.

**Recommendations to others considering ArkCase:**

ArkCase FOIA is a relatively new product. It has lots to prove, mainly because of its age. As a platform, it's on-par with the rest. Only, with ArkCase, you get a lot more attention, a lot more support, and a lot more value for money. These young companies must hold the same security and code quality certifications like established players. But these new companies fight to earn the trust of each client. The dedication you get from the team is second to none. They are relatively fast in deploying new needs if you have anything specific you need, plus you benefit from other people's feedback that gets weaved into regular software updates. It's not a market leader-quadrant player, but it's definitely a formidable contender. Practically, you get everything you really need, in a tight package and a team that is all ears for your specific needs.
If you're on the market for a modern FOIA SaaS solution, give ArkCase FOIA a try. If you're not a fan of a SaaS solution, there's a community version that your tech team can download and set up locally for your organization to test. 
Either way, you lose nothing for trying, and you may just find yourself surprised of the quality of this software solution.

Searching through different data locations on different technologies, in different formats has always been a challenge. And finding all of the requested information by requestors is causing backlogs. Having an eDiscovery FOIA solution that can also search through metadata and audio/video files is tremendously helpful.
