The collaboration utilities, like the chat and the live pointer of other participants on a canvas, are excellent, especially for teams working remotely and in different time zones. Great tool to communicate a summary of results with non-technical team members. Great for small-mid sized teams that don't really require as tight of a control as something that Asana offers. **What do you dislike about Allo?** The text box/typing on canvases seems a bit unsmooth and rigid. IMO, you could emphasize on the linking options more as Canvases are a great place to share Summaries and results, but the thorough 12 page content is in some Google Doc/Sheet. I don't really get what OKRs and Projects do. Are they the same thing. Why does a key result have a different canvas? Maybe a short FAQ/Help/How to for an ignorant non-PM user like me that doesn't disappear after I first login **What problems is Allo solving and how is that benefiting you?** Helping me keep a track of What I have to do. What I love the most is the whiteboard feature which create virtual desks where we can 'lay it all out' virtually between team members and clients **What do you dislike about Allo?** I dont' really have a down side - all I would say is that it is good to learn what it is good for and what there are better tools for. Project management for example is not what I would use Allo for, nor do I think it should focus on that functionality. **Recommendations to others considering Allo:** This product has many great applications, in particular if you are working remotely with people. Also great client facing tool - easy sharing of documents for low-tech individuals **What problems is Allo solving and how is that benefiting you?** One key problem is gathering website content from a client. I can set up a page per page way where clients can add their content including word docs, images and so on. They do not have to be high tech to do this, and easier than teaching them to use dropbox or other tools if they are not familiar with them. Those clients who do use dropbox, can just drop the link in here. We are also using it to brainstorm our internal workflows and processes as we work towards documentation. ### 3. Canvas explainer videos are included to introduce new users to the platform so my clients know how to use pieces we share. Backup snapshots are good and extracting to a pdf is helpful. Items allowed are numerous for brainstorming, planning & editing ideas as projects are done. **What do you dislike about Allo?** Tables inserted do not edit well on mobile devices. Clients try overlaying with text boxes and it gets too messy to keep table cells updated correctly. Sorting is impossible. Also, arrows to link one item to another doesn't work well because the origin point cannot be moved. **What problems is Allo solving and how is that benefiting you?** Allows my website clients to view layouts, upload and comment on ideas. Access to the API would be a great addition. This is an essential feature we use during our certified classes. The feature we like most about Allo is the translation feature. We teach in both English and Japanese. This way, the students can modify their team boards in Japanese, and we can easily translate them into English. **What do you dislike about Allo?** The biggest issue we have had is the Team Board links will stop working and must be recreated each day. While it is not difficult, it still requires time. Before BeeCanvas we used a variety of tools to share files and feedback, Slack, Google Docs, Dropbox, etc. Collectively, our team spent days every month being blocked by not having a single place to keep track of projects. I can put pictures and drawings together without it being so hard. I can come up with an easy solution by physically looking at it. You can draw something cool or in a way that lets you better illustrate and view a better way to plan and make sense of how to tackle a problem right off the bat. Great for a starter, it doesn't have a lot of features which is great for a starter in whatever field may be or just to play around with. When i actually use it, It's only meant for google. What's not to love? **What do you dislike about Allo?** This software is so amazing and easy to use, there is nothing to dislike! Everything is intuitive and easy to explain to other team members. No complaints here. **Recommendations to others considering Allo:** No recommendations at this time besides get this :) **What problems is Allo solving and how is that benefiting you?** This helps our teams brain storm and problem solve in real time. All of the elements designed are securely stored so there is minimal concern regarding concept theft. Images, files, links, etc. can all be sorted out on a single canvas which makes project management extremely convenient. BeeCanvas just recently integrated Google Drive which makes it easier to transfer my files from google doc. **What do you dislike about Allo?** It is lacking some more advanced features, but the company has been making huge progress in there short operational period. Just wish they updated the app version soon, still not up to par. Web version is great though! **Recommendations to others considering Allo:** Express thoughts, ideas and communicate immediately with the members of your team, as if you were in the same room. is visual collaboration tool. All of your ideas in one place. It's the easiest way to express thoughts and communicate clearly with your entire team. **What problems is Allo solving and how is that benefiting you?** BeeCanvas allows us to do the same things as with slack, but because of the tools unique power in allowing us to visualise content, it means that we can able to keep communications cleaner and clearer accross multiple departments. The ability to update things LIVE with everyone (who is allowed access) keeps communication clean and clear when you are working on a team. That is probably the best thing about this app. The templates are also my favorite feature. **What do you dislike about Allo?** I don't dislike anything about BeeCanvas at this time. **Recommendations to others considering Allo:** The trial is free (or was free at least when I joined) I would check that out and then download the software to try it out! **What problems is Allo solving and how is that benefiting you?** The greatest benefit is that it offers a sort of design scape for everyone involved so it's like everyone brainstorming at once. This has been awesome. One person can add to my idea and vice versa at the same time. I think a lot of our creative design was due to this feature. My favorite part is that I can add post-it style notes and photos via the drag & drop option. It is super easy to edit them and rearrange them how I want after placement. They did have a glitch last year, but it was quickly fixed. **Recommendations to others considering Allo:** This is a REALLY wonderful app especially if you work with others. Whether you’re at your desktop, or on the go with our mobile app, because the whiteboards are in real time, everyone can stay on the same page at all times. BeeCanvas is by far the greatest software that I have used for a visual workspace. I have tried quite a few and the way BeeCanvas allows you to organize your creative work outshines the rest of them. Another one of my favorite parts of BeeCanvas are the demos that they incorporate into the subscription. Sometimes beginning a new software can be intimidating and BeeCanvas make it very easy and simple to learn and navigate a new system. **What do you dislike about Allo?** So farI haven't disliked anything. BeeCanvas has overdelivered when it comes to a platform for creative design and workspace. **Recommendations to others considering Allo:** My only recommendation is to try it.
