  ### 4. Multiple features and continued updates/growth within the system.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Courtney P. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 07, 2023

**What do you like best about Adobe Learning Manager (formerly Adobe Captivate Prime)?**

The ability to create custom users within the ALM is a bonus for our teams; I am able to create administrators for specific team content and modify the access based on what is needed. It keeps individuals that are less knowledgeable about the system from being overwhelmed. The ability to have external users and peer accounts are also features that could have been incredibly beneficial had our partner organizations choose to use the ALM. The ALM team is constantly working to modify and update the user expereience based on feedback as well.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Learning Manager (formerly Adobe Captivate Prime)?**

Because there has been some push back on transitioning to the ALM for some training groups, having the ability as a manager/admin/instructor to upload third party certificates (like Red Cross) to each learners completion task would be helpful. The only way to currently add a file for an employee is 1) the employee does it themselves or 2) an admin must impersonate a user. We also have certain certifications that have a 4 or 5 year life span before needing renewal. So, it would be useful if the ALM tracked certifications that long.

**What problems is Adobe Learning Manager (formerly Adobe Captivate Prime) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We needed a streamlined process on how to track employee learning across our organization. The ALM allows us that opportunity. In addition, it provides a platform that is flexible for our matrix structure.

  ### 5. It's a great Learning Management System!

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rachelle M. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 27, 2023

**What do you like best about Adobe Learning Manager (formerly Adobe Captivate Prime)?**

As an Instructor, I'm able to print off a sign-in sheet for participants easily and quickly mark their attendance after the course. As an Administrator, I love the "Impersonate User" option which allows me to help employees troubleshoot issues they bring to me. Sometimes the user just needs a little education on how the LMS works and being able to log in as them helps me figure out what they are seeing on their end so that I can help with a solution.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Learning Manager (formerly Adobe Captivate Prime)?**

Probably a feature within the Learning Path. I like the option of grouping courses together; however, if someone misses a course, I can't unenroll them becuase it unenrolls them from the path AND the course. If it only unenrolled them from the course, that would be helpful.

**What problems is Adobe Learning Manager (formerly Adobe Captivate Prime) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Adobe Learning Manager makes it super simple for employees to extract their own learning transcripts. With hundreds of employees, this definitely saves me time!

  ### 6. Managing our training and onboarding

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Connie K. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 24, 2023

**What do you like best about Adobe Learning Manager (formerly Adobe Captivate Prime)?**

Adobe Learning Manager provides maximum flexibility and customization to help us develop the system to integrate into our teams with success. Between the various options of learning paths, certifications and more we can more rapidly deploy user trainings successfullly. We can customize it for our industry, which is unique, and allow our internal users to be empowered with their training in a way that fits our company culture.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Learning Manager (formerly Adobe Captivate Prime)?**

There is a large learning curve but this is due to the large amount of customization. Not really a dislike but just to be aware that the amount of customization is directly related to the time and set up learning the system.

**What problems is Adobe Learning Manager (formerly Adobe Captivate Prime) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Helping us to outline our learning paths and skills and needs. The powerful reporting and dashboards allow us to increase efficiency and be more productive. One of our problems has always been onboarding new employees and managing the training needed for various positions, ALM will solve for all of this and help us to grow with more talented and technical staff.

  ### 7. Adobe Learning Manager

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Madhu G. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 12, 2023

**What do you like best about Adobe Learning Manager (formerly Adobe Captivate Prime)?**

I like the fact that Adobe Learning Manager works most like Netflix suggesting courses based on your interest levels. ALM curates a list of courses based on your most preferred domains and interest areas and it helps learners view similar courses that they might like to take.

As a learner, I like the immersive display, gamification leaderboard, skill and badges display, and the ability to choose your preferred language. I also like the feature that a learner can upload the badges directly from ALM to Badgr and display it on LinkedIn. The discussion boards and social learning is also a good feature.

As an admin, I like the ability to add skills and skill levels to courses, assign course credits, and gamification points, the ease of managing (uploading and updating) courses on the LMS, and the experience ALM brings to the learners. ALM also provides a variety of reports ranging from learner transcripts, course reports, utilization reports, and training reports which make it very easier for me to create interactive reports in PowerBI. ALM also provides a PowerBI connection where you can link the reports to Power BI and refresh them in real time. Not only PowerBI but ALM also provides plugins for LinkedIn Learning, Workday, Salesforce, etc. Overall, I had a very positive experience with ALM as an admin as well as a learner. I think ALM is one of the most modern and high-tech LMS in the market right now that is changing the way we administer and consume learning. Also to mention that ALM has an excellent support staff that is very responsive to the queries and suggestions we bring to them.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Learning Manager (formerly Adobe Captivate Prime)?**

There are a few things that I feel Adobe Learning Manger should improve on. I understand that some of these might be features that are a work in progress as ALM is fairly recent in the market. Here are a few points:
 - Course suggestions in the related courses section need to be better and suggest courses that are related to that topic.
 - The fluidic player needs to function better. Right now, not possible to skip chapters, tags, etc. Also, need the ability to open the course in a different window with our customizations.
 - User audit report and login access report needs to provide better quality data
 - Search needs to be better for learners. They should be able to search for courses as well as learning paths without being shown one exclusively.
 - As a learner, the immersive view does not provide a dashboard of completion status and overdue courses. The classic view does and I think this feature should be included in the immersive view also.
 - Right now, I cannot upload job aids as a zipped folder. If there are many job aids, it is a complete mess (we have over 20 job aids for some technical courses) although we can do this in the resource section, I think this should be provided in the Job aids section too.
 - Adobe Learning Manager app is not functioning well - Can't see courses, the dashboard view is cut, can't change profiles (Admin, author, learner), and cannot take courses on the mobile app. I think this is very important since most of our learners prefer to take training on the go.

**What problems is Adobe Learning Manager (formerly Adobe Captivate Prime) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

- Ease of assigning courses
 - Good reports about learner statuses, feedback, skill mapping, utilization, courses on the system, instructor utilization
 - Ability to modify training, update, and replace training with ease
 - Assigning multiple instances with variable due dates to different teams
 - The ability to include and exclude learners
 - The ability to create catalogs and include training for audiences (primarily external learners) is a great benefit
 - We can manage (add and remove) external learners with ease

  ### 8. Best and convenient learning app

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sneha S. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 13, 2023

**What do you like best about Adobe Learning Manager (formerly Adobe Captivate Prime)?**

I work as a HR executive in L&D and i am the administrator, author, instructor and leaner and for me each role is different and is very easy and conveninet. We can prepare as many programs and contents and their updates are super that each day they will intiate something and we can try it out. This helps in the learning of all the associates and all over trainings are happening through Adobe Learning Manager

**What do you dislike about Adobe Learning Manager (formerly Adobe Captivate Prime)?**

There is nothing much but the one thing which i found is that we are not using its fully. Thats is they are providing so much but we are not using every facilities. They can promot some more about all their facilities

**What problems is Adobe Learning Manager (formerly Adobe Captivate Prime) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

1. The problem of how to provide the particular training for the associates.
2. Helps to provide self paced trainings
3. You can give the link from external an provide the training

  ### 9. Managing External and Internal Proprietary Software Training

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shannon K. | Sr. Technical Writer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 10, 2023

**What do you like best about Adobe Learning Manager (formerly Adobe Captivate Prime)?**

We selected Adobe Learning Manager as our LMS due to customization and flexibility. It's a very robust system, which does require some ramp-up time, but it is working well for us. We use it in conjunction with Adobe Captivate and Adobe Premier Pro, so all the products work well together for our online learning solution.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Learning Manager (formerly Adobe Captivate Prime)?**

Sometimes I find it difficult to find the exact report that I need. However, I think that we are barely scratching the surface of what is included functionality.

**What problems is Adobe Learning Manager (formerly Adobe Captivate Prime) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Adobe Learning Manager provides both pre- and post- training opportunities for our clients. Our system is very complex, so having the capability to push online content as needed is a huge plus for us. Our Support team can also use this as backup for any client inquiries that are standard.

  ### 10. Excellent tool to meet your L&D E- learning requirement

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Abhirami L. | Product Trainer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 04, 2023

**What do you like best about Adobe Learning Manager (formerly Adobe Captivate Prime)?**

As trainer , I can easily track the learning progress of the trainees.
Easy to assign courses individually as well as in bulk.
The process of Defining Learning Path, Courses , Uploading Contents and Adding Assessments are seamless.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Learning Manager (formerly Adobe Captivate Prime)?**

While we are trying to upload the learner details using CSV, if there are some errors with any of the learner we will not get the list of erroneous record together. We have to do the upload the multiple times find the error and then do the re-upload, which is actually difficult. If you can give all the erroneous together that would be easy.

**What problems is Adobe Learning Manager (formerly Adobe Captivate Prime) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Adobe is helping us streamline product, compliance, and soft skills training.
The assessment feature helps in conducting different evaluations on the topics covered.

  ### 11. best things come in small packages,

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Prasad G. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 31, 2023

**What do you like best about Adobe Learning Manager (formerly Adobe Captivate Prime)?**

This is one application or software that i have used in my life and have never regretted about this. The ease of use along with the finesse has made me so much dependent on this application for my daily use.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Learning Manager (formerly Adobe Captivate Prime)?**

Usually everything has a shelf life. Although there are pros and cons in every product, i dont think that Adobe is lacking anywhere. Something that they can do is maybe give trail or free oor student versions as well to people and make it a little less expensive.

**What problems is Adobe Learning Manager (formerly Adobe Captivate Prime) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Adobe helps us in a lot of things. the learning management platform that we use is a big thing. Right from assigning trainings on it to getting that completed along with relevant reports is done by Adobe.

  ### 12. I am not the expert on this system, but I can work with it and partially help others.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Chemicals | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 11, 2023

**What do you like best about Adobe Learning Manager (formerly Adobe Captivate Prime)?**

changing the e-mail templates for all courses / certifications in one step;
or also changing these templates individually for courses;
Registration of users is easy;
Videos and tests from the content library can be assigned to any courses and certificates.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Learning Manager (formerly Adobe Captivate Prime)?**

It is not possible to change the language by the adminstrators; Users have to do this by themselves - it would be easier, if the language can be set together with other user settings like mail, position and so on.

**What problems is Adobe Learning Manager (formerly Adobe Captivate Prime) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With the online trainings it is much easier to train many users at the same time without much effort in scheduling etc.
These online trainings are also much more comfortable for users, as they can manage their own time to complete the trainings.

From the administrator's point of view it is also a support, because all reminder emails are sent automatically from the system and you don't have to check and write them for each user individually.

  ### 13. Heading in the Right Direction

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 27, 2023

**What do you like best about Adobe Learning Manager (formerly Adobe Captivate Prime)?**

To start, I like the simplicity of the user interface. The navigation is straightforward. We rarely have clients getting confused on the site. Love the calendar widget that shows what webinars are coming up so folks can easily sign up for them from the homepage. In terms of the features, there's a great foundation set with gamification, social boards, recommendations, and general learning functionality (webinars, courses, etc.). Also the ability to share links to courses/posts/social boards has been very helpful. As an administrator, I greatly appreciate the approach to role-based permissions rather than customized permissions for individuals. I have worked with other learning management systems that did the latter and it was very difficult to manage and troubleshoot.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Learning Manager (formerly Adobe Captivate Prime)?**

It's a good product with a strong trajectory to being great. The homepage and Social boards area could use a facelift to look modern and inviting with wider branding options. Social board features need a revamp on functionality and posting capabilities. For posts, the text should automatically stay saved when switching to add an image or recording. Also, should be able to upload images or add images directly in the post. If possible, the recording functionality should be embedded into the interface rather than being a separate software (ALM Desktop) to download. Being able to subscribe or follow a social board (i.e. get email notifications on new posts) is an absolute must. Leaderboard & Badges should be configurable on the client's end as HTML boxes and the ability to add sections. Use Case - we want to give out swag to those folks who are engaging with the site and consuming the content. But we have no place to outline how our points work and what would be received at various points. Also, a badge for reaching various milestones (i.e. 1,000 or 5,000 points) and an email to the admin would be incredible. It would also be nice if resources were linkable and allowed multiple attachments within one resource. Also, a download option for course content if it's a document or image OR allow multiple attachments/links within the Course (outside of Resources). The search functionality could be improved and the catalog could use a major facelift as well. Filters should all be configurable with the option to select custom user fields. Broader custom reports and dashboard features are needed. Lastly, it's a great product with continuous improvements and enhancements being made.

**What problems is Adobe Learning Manager (formerly Adobe Captivate Prime) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It has boosted client engagement with our client community as a whole. Webinar registrations and attendance have greatly increased. We've been able to use it as a temporary knowledge base and being able to see the data on usage showed us for the first time how much of our content is being consumed. The self-registration along with the back-end registration option has allowed us to meet our clients where they are and have a broader reach. The ability to share links to courses, posts, and social boards have been very useful.

  ### 14. Great Support but falls short of the basic functions.

**Rating:** 1.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Automotive | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 27, 2023

**What do you like best about Adobe Learning Manager (formerly Adobe Captivate Prime)?**

Adobe has terriffic customer support. They are very responsive to the suggestions to improve the system.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Learning Manager (formerly Adobe Captivate Prime)?**

It does some things very well. However, it does not provide the basic functions that an LMS should. The system does not propperly support a Prerequisite function. A learner should not be able to enroll or secure a seat in a classroom course when there is a prerequisite and it is not complete. When utilizing plans and paths, Learner rosters are not available to view as an administrator, only if you are assigned as the instructor can you view the list. Reporting on Paths really needs some attention. It reports the path progress only, not the individual courses in the path. Learner interface is a little confusing for them. It takes a while for them to figure it out... I have a long list of these basic functions that this LMS does not support.

**What problems is Adobe Learning Manager (formerly Adobe Captivate Prime) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Not many. It just barely meets our needs. We are exploring new systems.

  ### 15. Lack of training material to learn how to use

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Management Consulting | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 21, 2023

**What do you like best about Adobe Learning Manager (formerly Adobe Captivate Prime)?**

It seems like it can do a lot, and our account manager and the support team is very helpful.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Learning Manager (formerly Adobe Captivate Prime)?**

The fluidic player - even though I use Adobe Captivate it interfears with the accessabiity and table of contents.
Emailling support multiple times in one day makes Zendesk think it's for the same ticket - to prevent confusion I had to make my own Zendesk account and log tickets that way.
No ticketing system for enhancement requests, it just dissapears. I want to log and track the requests myself.
Hard to use, e.g. for an instance I have to create in VC, task, and Learning Path. I have to assign an instructor to VC and task. Lots of places to trip up.
Not enough training avaliable - not in depth enough.
Not enough capability for instructors - so we end up having to give them admin rights - e.g to mark a course as manually complete, to archive their old marked stuff. etc

**What problems is Adobe Learning Manager (formerly Adobe Captivate Prime) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SSO from multiple sites has been great.
Auto creation of users via SSO has been great.
The ability to api information into multiple client sites has been great.
Ability to en mass assign out courses by role type or client sites has been great.

  ### 16. An excellent Learning Experience Tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sujatha D. | Global Head- Learning and Organizational Development , Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 16, 2023

**What do you like best about Adobe Learning Manager (formerly Adobe Captivate Prime)?**

This supports us in various learning modes:
•	Hosting of all the Instructor-Led (Virtual or Face-to-Face) sessions

•	Curated Courses for structured part (Learning Program)
•	Fluidic Player
•	Job-Aids
•	Learner Feedback
•	Tracking of Learning Programs and Learners

**What do you dislike about Adobe Learning Manager (formerly Adobe Captivate Prime)?**

The possibility of a complete calendar of the month displayed in the platform.

**What problems is Adobe Learning Manager (formerly Adobe Captivate Prime) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

IT helps us in end-to-end support of all learning initiatives.

  ### 17. Good platform for our audience

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consumer Goods | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 18, 2023

**What do you like best about Adobe Learning Manager (formerly Adobe Captivate Prime)?**

What I like most about Adobe Learning Manager is it is easy and convenient for our employees to use. I also like that we can set due dates and automatic reminders for training that is required.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Learning Manager (formerly Adobe Captivate Prime)?**

I think reporting could be more streamlined. It can be cumbersome at times to find the information that I'm looking for in order to report on it. I'm not sure if this already exists, but I would love to receive auto updates or notifications when I log in of any changes/updates from an administrative side. I know there are online trainings, but little tips or something would be a quick, easy reminder of new things that I could start to utilize right away.

**What problems is Adobe Learning Manager (formerly Adobe Captivate Prime) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have a remote field sales team that are spread out all over the country. Adobe Learning Manager helps provide initial training for this group of employees to learn remotely and on-demand prior to attending in-person training. We also use it as reinforcement and refresher training for this same group. It also helps us provide supplemental training to our customer experience teams.

  ### 18. Not seamless yet

**Rating:** 1.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Leisure, Travel & Tourism | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 13, 2023

**What do you like best about Adobe Learning Manager (formerly Adobe Captivate Prime)?**

The ease of adding a new user account, the ability to have dynamic content with buttons, next/back, and quiz functions. We liked that one course could be instantly sent to relevant groups based on manager or other data.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Learning Manager (formerly Adobe Captivate Prime)?**

The experience is not seamless and easy all-around. For example, new users are easily misled to enter their email and end up in a dead-end when they ought to click "Create Account" during registration. If they've already identified they're a new user who needs to register, the next page should not have a space for them to enter email address and then above it "Create account" it should just skip to the create account prompts.

**What problems is Adobe Learning Manager (formerly Adobe Captivate Prime) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

New hires have often never come in contact with our product before, so we have a lot of in-house custom-made courses about our company and product. These in-house courses also include software program trainings for software programs that were developed in-house and don't exist outside.

  ### 19. ALM is a user-friendly learning platform

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Suzanne C. | Talent Development Coordinator, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 12, 2023

**What do you like best about Adobe Learning Manager (formerly Adobe Captivate Prime)?**

The ALM is easy for learners to find and take courses that are assigned to them or recommended, and also simple to search and take courses in their catalog. This is what a company wants in an LMS: ease of use for its learners, who need to quickly locate and obtain the knowledge necessary. A big plus for me personally as an admin is that Adobe support is very responsive to any client questions, so working with their staff is a pleasure.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Learning Manager (formerly Adobe Captivate Prime)?**

There are some enhancements our company would like, but as a relatively new LMS, not all functions are not yet there. Due to the daily mobility of our staff in the hospitality industry, we wish we could leverage the mobile app more: that it would run courses with quizzes, allow courses with multiple attempts, and be able to share info between the mobile and desktop apps without being offline. It would also be nice to be able to limit admin capabilities to certain catalogs only, and I would also like to see the ability to create dashboard reports with multiple courses (now it is one or all).

**What problems is Adobe Learning Manager (formerly Adobe Captivate Prime) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I just got off a call with ALM support and our CSM as they are looking into why deleted courses are coming up on a dashboard report sent as a subscription. I just had them close a ticket on our migration connector not working- we had to change from Exavault to Box (AWS is another option) a bit abruptly, for which they apologized and supplied the support (even involving their a member of the engineering team) on the issue to make sure we were able to migrate the data needed. They are also looking into enhancements to the mobile app that our company really needs.

  ### 20. Amazing, Outstanding, Fantastic, Out of this world

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Prasad G. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 27, 2023

**What do you like best about Adobe Learning Manager (formerly Adobe Captivate Prime)?**

Adobe is one of the applications that i have used is something which is very rare to find. It is a ecclectic mix of technology, art and ease of access. The way it provides emplowerement is absolutely amazing.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Learning Manager (formerly Adobe Captivate Prime)?**

Ideally speaking, each program or application has itspros and cons. however Adobe is one such application that has very little areas of improvements. The AOIs are there however very negligible.

**What problems is Adobe Learning Manager (formerly Adobe Captivate Prime) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This helps in resolving a lot of problems. Right from whether it is six sigma, dmaics, fishbone or if it is machine learning, you can always find some or the other important information in this.

  ### 21. Easy to use, looks great, clunky functionality

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Government Administration | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 07, 2023

**What do you like best about Adobe Learning Manager (formerly Adobe Captivate Prime)?**

It really is a pretty easy program to learn. I didn't come to this with a lot of e-learning experience and was able to pick it up quickly. It looks great and is easy to upload SCORM files into. It has great quiz-reporting capabilities, and the reports I see are in the form of an Excel spreadsheet and include lots of well-organized information.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Learning Manager (formerly Adobe Captivate Prime)?**

Our group cannot turn off the scrollbar at the bottom of classes. Even though we have hidden this function, you can still see it. We don't want a scrollbar on all of our content because it is educational, and learners could use this to skip through it. After speaking with Adobe reps, we were told the only way to fix this was to do enhanced customization. Our company is very large, and this would remove the scrollbar for everyone on our account. It's an all-or-nothing solution that is very frustrating.

**What problems is Adobe Learning Manager (formerly Adobe Captivate Prime) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is a much more user-friendly and attractive platform than the others we have used. Through catalogs, all of the content companywide is made more accessible, even inter-departmentally. The badge system is fun and our customers like it.

Adobe is an easy tool which helps us cascade updates within the organization helping employees stay on top of all they need to know about their work on a regular basis

**What do you dislike about Adobe Learning Manager (formerly Adobe Captivate Prime)?**

Nothing that i dislike about it. It can sometimes be a little difficult to get the usernames when we have 1 or more employees with the same names. Everything else is just fine

Adobe helps employees review material and have access to a lot of training modules making their product knowledge stronger and keeping them updated on all the content they need on a daily basis

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Insurance | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 08, 2023

**What do you like best about Adobe Learning Manager (formerly Adobe Captivate Prime)?**

What I like best about ALM is the responsive team. If I have any issues that I have not found on the community or help site, they are more than willing to walk me through the steps needed to overcome my challenges

**What do you dislike about Adobe Learning Manager (formerly Adobe Captivate Prime)?**

I know that we can pair reports with third parties like Power BI, but I think that there should be a native tool to provide great reports. This is one of the major items I think Adobe should improve to make it fully exceptional in the LMS field.

**What problems is Adobe Learning Manager (formerly Adobe Captivate Prime) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It has helped us organize corporate learning in a sleek and orderly manner. Moreover, it has allowed us to jettison redundant programs so that we can have all of our corporate learning under one roof.

Good, friendly, easy to use, simple, self-explanatory... this saves a lot of time and makes it easy to explain to everyone. Thanks, Adobe, for this amazing application.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Learning Manager (formerly Adobe Captivate Prime)?**

Nothing as such, it is good the way it is. It's super easy and fun. Just make the editing a little easier as well, that will help a lot. Otherwise, everything is good!

**What problems is Adobe Learning Manager (formerly Adobe Captivate Prime) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

To help people understand the product and comply with it, everyone should complete the learning management system assigned to it. It helps even the newcomers to understand well.

It is an easy and quick to use tool which helps organisations upload any new trainings required for the upskilling of the employees in the organisation. Thanks!

**What do you dislike about Adobe Learning Manager (formerly Adobe Captivate Prime)?**

Nothing to dislike really. It can sometimes be a challenge though when we have multiple employees with the same name as password change is sometimes an issue. Will try to see any workaround with that

**What problems is Adobe Learning Manager (formerly Adobe Captivate Prime) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Adobe is helping us with managing our trainings by uploading modules and reducing manual trainings that are given by trainers of the organisation. It helps reduce time.

**What do you like best about Adobe Learning Manager (formerly Adobe Captivate Prime)?**

Very usefull in the criation of e-learning material.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Learning Manager (formerly Adobe Captivate Prime)?**

Some difficulty of use at the beginning due to the huge number of options.

**What problems is Adobe Learning Manager (formerly Adobe Captivate Prime) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It solves the problems that we have with production of e-learning contents.

  ### 29. I like it!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 14, 2023

**What do you like best about Adobe Learning Manager (formerly Adobe Captivate Prime)?**

I like how easy it is to use, how easy it is to create content in multiple languages, the ability to set who has access to which content, the reports are useful, adding users is easy with the upload of csv, enrolling users in courses, adding and managing access to attached files, and more.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Learning Manager (formerly Adobe Captivate Prime)?**

I really don't like the Learning Plans, Learning Paths, Certifications. Maybe I just don't fully understand the hierarchy or how they are related. I don't like how I need my IT team to create course/certification certificate templates.

**What problems is Adobe Learning Manager (formerly Adobe Captivate Prime) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It allows us to provide customers and internal teams access to comprehensive self-paced training, so our trainers can focus on creating new content, instead of repeating the same training over and over.

  ### 30. Easy to admin, good user experience

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Human Resources | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 12, 2023

**What do you like best about Adobe Learning Manager (formerly Adobe Captivate Prime)?**

From an admin perspective, it is easy to navigate and manage our users. It feels up to date and like the user was in mind when designing. I like that there can be different profiles for our different types of users.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Learning Manager (formerly Adobe Captivate Prime)?**

I would love if there was a built-in feature that we could have our learners automatically enrolled in the system when they join our team. This is a manual process currently, and we don't want to have to purchase additional software to do this; it should be a standard feature.

**What problems is Adobe Learning Manager (formerly Adobe Captivate Prime) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ALM solves our problem of being able to provide on-demand learning to our employees. It helps our new team members feel connected and up to speed quickly.

  ### 31. A confusing system for a beginner

**Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Staffing and Recruiting | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 20, 2023

**What do you like best about Adobe Learning Manager (formerly Adobe Captivate Prime)?**

It is a good way of putting all your training material in one place once you figure out how to use the system

**What do you dislike about Adobe Learning Manager (formerly Adobe Captivate Prime)?**

There are too many places to update things which makes it confusing, content, catalogues, courses, paths, plans. It doesnt help you to create content that is in a seperate place called captivate and if you dont know how to use this there is noone to help guide you they just say to watch a video so we have this and have been upable to use the product. If you are experienced working with and LMS maybe it makes more sense but for a novice its too complex.
I also thing the view isnt particularly appealing. It could be brighter and bolder and more eyecatching.

**What problems is Adobe Learning Manager (formerly Adobe Captivate Prime) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Its mainly used for onbaording and sharing training that is specific to our company and not off the shelf. Good we have one place to share this information but i dont think we get the most out of what we're paying for. Reporting is also not helpful so we do not use these features as there is too much information.

  ### 32. Amazing, Friendly, Simple & Easy

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Pooja P. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 21, 2023

**What do you like best about Adobe Learning Manager (formerly Adobe Captivate Prime)?**

I love Adobe as this is an easy platform to understand being a trainer its easier for me to teach people and make my documents on this. I love using this as this also super friendly.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Learning Manager (formerly Adobe Captivate Prime)?**

Nothing really. Everything is good and secured.

**What problems is Adobe Learning Manager (formerly Adobe Captivate Prime) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps me make my training documents and easier for my trainees to understand and complete their PKTs if assigned.. it helps them to complete the learning management modules too.

  ### 33. Good Learning Tool

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Transportation/Trucking/Railroad | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 17, 2023

**What do you like best about Adobe Learning Manager (formerly Adobe Captivate Prime)?**

Great place to build and locate courses and build them into Learning Paths for users. Easy to assign courses for large group of users and excempt certain users based on many variables.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Learning Manager (formerly Adobe Captivate Prime)?**

Managing the user profiles is not as user friendly as other parts of system. Example, removing an user who has left the company makes it very difficult to add back if rehired. Cannot edit manager on users who self registered.

**What problems is Adobe Learning Manager (formerly Adobe Captivate Prime) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Centralizing traininig for certain psotions in the company by giving them a learing path to follow.

  ### 34. Great LMS!

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 28, 2023

**What do you like best about Adobe Learning Manager (formerly Adobe Captivate Prime)?**

Adobe Learning Manager provides most of the features my company like to use to manage learning. The technical support is very helpful.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Learning Manager (formerly Adobe Captivate Prime)?**

Sometimes it takes a while to get a support person response quickly, as most of the staff are in India. It would be nice to know about the bug fixes that happen with a new release. Some are listed in the release notes, but not all of them.

**What problems is Adobe Learning Manager (formerly Adobe Captivate Prime) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ALM allows us to track, assign, and report on learning. It has a LinkedIn Learning connector, which allows easy access to those courses in the LMS.

  ### 35. The best learning opportunity

Adobe Learning Manager gives you the opportunity and chances to expand the option for learning and developing your career.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Learning Manager (formerly Adobe Captivate Prime)?**

I can't say I have something to dislike about this plattform. Maybe the roles profiles, however it's so easy to understand.

**What problems is Adobe Learning Manager (formerly Adobe Captivate Prime) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I love all the gamification options that we have. Not only that. The virtual rooms, and the reporting options/

  ### 36. It's good for some cases

Some users have reported occasional glitches and technical issues with Adobe Learning Manager, which can disrupt the learning experience.

**What problems is Adobe Learning Manager (formerly Adobe Captivate Prime) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It solves the problem of efficient management and delivery of online learning content. It benefits users by providing a centralized platform for course creation, tracking learner progress, and generating reports, streamlining the learning process.

I felt that ALM have changed and updated a lot in terms of UI usage for customers and it can be seamlessly accessed without any hassles. Compared to others it is much more easy to use ALM

**What do you dislike about Adobe Learning Manager (formerly Adobe Captivate Prime)?**

The option of marking as Mark Complete manually can be triggered automatically once we complete any course through ALM and also the option of multiple clicks can be avoided is what i guess.

**What problems is Adobe Learning Manager (formerly Adobe Captivate Prime) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps to quickly help learners to complete courses through ALM and is much intuitive and helps all asscoiates to help in quickly completing the courses without any hassles.

  ### 38. Clean and Convenient

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

Adobe learning manager has a very neat and simple interface which is very user friendly and easy to use. It is very consumer centric.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Learning Manager (formerly Adobe Captivate Prime)?**

NA. I like the interface. Can't complain.

**What problems is Adobe Learning Manager (formerly Adobe Captivate Prime) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is easier to give New hired employees an idea about the organisation and it's policies and get them to sign documents digitally.

  ### 39. User friendly, ever evolving tool that grows with you.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Oil & Energy | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 12, 2023

**What do you like best about Adobe Learning Manager (formerly Adobe Captivate Prime)?**

The support from the help desk is great! They respond quickly and keep working until any issues are resolved. Once everything is set up, assigning courses is simple. The reporting includes an individual learner transcript which is critical for us.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Learning Manager (formerly Adobe Captivate Prime)?**

The migration process for third-party content is agonizing. We have now discontinued our subscription with the third-party vendor. The classes have been retired but still appear for our learners, leading to confusion.

**What problems is Adobe Learning Manager (formerly Adobe Captivate Prime) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Allowing us to track more training in one place. The reporting is more automated than our last system so that has been a time saver.

  ### 40. Adaptive and user friendly. Easy to manage

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rajan P. | Senior Human Resources Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 14, 2023

**What do you like best about Adobe Learning Manager (formerly Adobe Captivate Prime)?**

I can create role wise learning journey of each employee. I mean Learning path and the their Learning plans. Social learning is another interesting feature it has.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Learning Manager (formerly Adobe Captivate Prime)?**

It would have been better if it can generate the course completion certificates. Announcements cam be Pop-up on home page. We really need seperate login methods to configure for Web and Mobile applications.

**What problems is Adobe Learning Manager (formerly Adobe Captivate Prime) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Using ALM, I can offer learning plan / complete learning journey to each employee based on their role. Giving better learning experience to learners and authority to Managers to enroll their team members for any course.

I like the ability to customize the user's expereince
I like the support that I receive when I have questions.

The email templates lack full editing options for all emails.
When using the sandbox and the live versions, you either have to use two different browsers or use an incognito/inprivate option.

**What problems is Adobe Learning Manager (formerly Adobe Captivate Prime) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Previously, we did not have an LMS to create an organized and systematic method to provide content to our associates.

It's a user-friendly platform that easily allows us to upload and schedule trianing content for our employees with very little technical issues or difficulties.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Learning Manager (formerly Adobe Captivate Prime)?**

Nothing at this stage. My only diffculity has been getting some of our company details updated. It would be beneficial if we could easily do it without the need to import through a csv, but this isn't a major issue

**What problems is Adobe Learning Manager (formerly Adobe Captivate Prime) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Storing and scheduling our regular lunch and learn trianing sessions that we do for our employees.

There are a lot of hidden bells and whistles in Adobe Learning Manager, from email reminders that can be edited to meet an organization's unique voice, gamification, badging, learning paths, and different modes of tracking to keep learners engaged and moving forward.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Learning Manager (formerly Adobe Captivate Prime)?**

When working with user lists that are large for external user groups, either the users have to create their own profiles, or each profile must be created manually. There is not the option to upload a CSV.

**What problems is Adobe Learning Manager (formerly Adobe Captivate Prime) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Adobe Learning Manager has added features like a shopping cart to allow for clients and individuals to purchase courses. Additionally, they have updated old features that created reporting issues in the past.

The vast majority of our users were accessing ALM through the app and there were many technical issues throughout our 3 years using.

**What problems is Adobe Learning Manager (formerly Adobe Captivate Prime) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As our company is growing, we need a solution to help educate our employees both technically and with soft skill training as well.

I haven't found anything that I really dislike. Adobe invests in their product with routine improvements.

**What problems is Adobe Learning Manager (formerly Adobe Captivate Prime) solving and how is that benefiting you?**
