## Adobe Commerce (formerly Magento Commerce) Reviews
  ### 1. Incredibly powerful but not easy to set up and manage

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Steffany W. | Email Marketing Analyst, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 16, 2018

**What do you like best about Adobe Commerce (formerly Magento Commerce)?**

The functions you can complete in Magento are really powerful. You can build a website, manage all your products & categories, create promotions, store files, send transactional emails and more. Everything you need to run an e-commerce website is available in Magento.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Commerce (formerly Magento Commerce)?**

It is a difficult product to learn and navigate initially. The WYSIWYG editor is not simple; links will break unless edited directly in the HTML. The file system is incredibly clunky and feels like it is suck in the early 2000's. It is easier to store images elsewhere when possible and reference them when needed. Creating promotions is easy, but there needs to be better organization that's more sophisticated than just sorting.

**Recommendations to others considering Adobe Commerce (formerly Magento Commerce):**

Get the most updated version and implement on there, as using an earlier version and migrating is a bit of a pain.

**What problems is Adobe Commerce (formerly Magento Commerce) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We run the entire e-commerce business using Magento, from the website, to product management, to sending transactional emails after purchase (we use a separate email program for our promo emails and campaigns).

  ### 2. Fully open source and customizable

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Supermarkets | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 30, 2018

**What do you like best about Adobe Commerce (formerly Magento Commerce)?**

Magento is definitely user friendly and easy to pickup on. They have a great "Magento U" where you can take comprehensive courses to learn the ins and outs of the Admin panel. No dev experience neccessary.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Commerce (formerly Magento Commerce)?**

As it is fully customizable, the downside is needing extension add-ons for features that it would be nice to have built in to the software. However, I understand that this is reflective of my personal e-commerce needs.

**What problems is Adobe Commerce (formerly Magento Commerce) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We mainly utilize Magento as a platform to provide quotes to customers but love how flexible all of possible options are if we decide to open a wholesale platform. We like being able to contact customers who have abandoned carts via email and exit intent windows.

  ### 3. E-commerce Simplified and Made Beautiful

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Christopher B. | Freelance Developer and Consultant, Museums and Institutions, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 09, 2018

**What do you like best about Adobe Commerce (formerly Magento Commerce)?**

Magento is about is good as it gets for off the shelf e-commerce plat forms. The front end templates are robust and elegant and the backend UI is pleasure to work with. One gets the immediate feeling that great thought and planning went into making Magento a platform that just about anyone can easily adopt in their web presence. Under the hood Magento really shines as well, the MCV architecture along with a CLI tool (although more complex in version 2) is really a developers delight.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Commerce (formerly Magento Commerce)?**

Sites can grow into huge platforms and file systems, thus some more robust backend file management tools would be very welcomed, although noting that a developer with decent bash scripting or powershell experience cant over come. I would like to see some more 3rd extensions for various LAMP/LEMP/IIS caching made available.

**Recommendations to others considering Adobe Commerce (formerly Magento Commerce):**

Consider developing your own theme from the ground up. In the long run The return on investment might be greater than using a commercial theme.

**What problems is Adobe Commerce (formerly Magento Commerce) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Rapid development, ease of use, and almost instant ROI. Many commercially themes and templates are available for rapid launch awith unique banding which is a good option to get started, but investment in development hours will be needed in the log run to produce a more unique and heavily branded UI/UX. Good new is the platform framework is ready to expand and grow when the owner is.

  ### 4. The King of Customization (and Complication)

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Matthew H. | Quality Assurance Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 24, 2017

**What do you like best about Adobe Commerce (formerly Magento Commerce)?**

Flexibility. There is so much that you can do with Magento. As an eCommerce platform this is definitely of the "everything is possible" variety. However, the customization and flexibility comes at a cost.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Commerce (formerly Magento Commerce)?**

Magento is flexible, but fragile. The open market source nature is fantastic but you lose quite a bit of reliability. When you install an extension it could break your entire site, or maybe just a break another extension. One of the more frustrating is when an all to frequent security patch quietly destroys your ability to do something as simple as upload an image. Also the Out of the Box Reports are sub par at best. Luckily there are extensions that exist to improve this.

**Recommendations to others considering Adobe Commerce (formerly Magento Commerce):**

Take a look at the Community Edition, weigh your options. Before you commit to using Magento be sure to look at exactly what you need. It is a fantastic platform but if you really only need minor customization I would recommend looking at other platforms. It's almost a guarantee that Magento can do exactly what you need, it just might take quite an effort to get there. This is not of the faint of heart.

**What problems is Adobe Commerce (formerly Magento Commerce) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Magento is great for large eCommerce focused businesses. I work at an agency and several of our partners use this platform. The problem it solves is providing a platform for eCommerce, while also being open source (hence the flexibility I mentioned earlier.

  ### 5. Good but not the best option.

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Alternative Medicine | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 06, 2018

**What do you like best about Adobe Commerce (formerly Magento Commerce)?**

I like that it is simple to break out roles and limit/expand access to users within the platform.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Commerce (formerly Magento Commerce)?**

It is not the easiest to use, updates are a pain and the support team is no good.

**What problems is Adobe Commerce (formerly Magento Commerce) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Having an e-commerce platform, it is nice to be able to view customer orders within the system instead of only having them in the cms.

  ### 6. Magento 2 Lots of features, but difficult to develop for.

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tyler S. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 18, 2018

**What do you like best about Adobe Commerce (formerly Magento Commerce)?**

I like that Magento 2 has a ton of features and allows you to have multiple stores and multiple carts.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Commerce (formerly Magento Commerce)?**

The fact that it's very difficult to develop for. It takes a long time to actually learn and get a great understanding of how everything works.

**Recommendations to others considering Adobe Commerce (formerly Magento Commerce):**

Just note that if you're going to be developing for it, that you will have a lot of problems with setting it up and learning how to develop.

**What problems is Adobe Commerce (formerly Magento Commerce) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We needed to use it on a client site that wanted to have a shared cart across all their stores. It was one of the few options that gave us this ability.

  ### 7. Great Software for E-Commerce

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Areane Q. | Process Engineer, Retail, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 01, 2018

I really don't have an issues with this product so far.

**What problems is Adobe Commerce (formerly Magento Commerce) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

E-Commerce

  ### 8. Complex E-Commerce Software with a lot of possibilities, but also a lot of work.

**Rating:** 2.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Apparel & Fashion | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 22, 2018

**What do you like best about Adobe Commerce (formerly Magento Commerce)?**

With Magento you can basically customize everything, which is great. It is also one of the most used e-commerce software, so you'll find answers to a lot of questions and problems.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Commerce (formerly Magento Commerce)?**

If you want to change anything in Magento it is pretty much always a huge load of work. If you start using Magento you will need a full time developer at hand at all times! If you don't have one, do not use Magento!

The setup of Magento is hard, adding a module is difficult, because the built-in connector doesn't work properly.

The voucher system is not very useful. For example if you want to offer a discount on a certain type of product, you can't do that without an extra module.

**What problems is Adobe Commerce (formerly Magento Commerce) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are currently using Magento for an fashion online shop.

  ### 9. Fantastic Platform

Use a agency to implement it

**What problems is Adobe Commerce (formerly Magento Commerce) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Managing our shops in different countries

  ### 15. Magento is nice for small businesses, but has many limitations

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Machinery | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 12, 2017

**What do you like best about Adobe Commerce (formerly Magento Commerce)?**

Out of the box Magento is pretty neat for a small business. It can set up your products and categories pretty easily, and makes it easy to add seo data like meta descriptions and keywords in a text box. No major knowledge of html is needed.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Commerce (formerly Magento Commerce)?**

As a search analyst the search configuration is very limited. We were able to utilize the SOLR platform, but only by weighting attribute fields in a 1 - 5 basis. Also, there is no major thesaurus library, everything must be done on a per term basis. Same with URL redirects.

**Recommendations to others considering Adobe Commerce (formerly Magento Commerce):**

Only for small businesses that do not want too much customization. If you plan to customize, plan to have a dev team at the ready.

**What problems is Adobe Commerce (formerly Magento Commerce) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I did not work for the company before they had switched to this platform. I came from a company that used Oracle Endeca. Endeca had many more available options for the search world.

**Reviewed Date:** April 26, 2018

**What do you like best about Adobe Commerce (formerly Magento Commerce)?**

It's pretty powerful, scalable and very flexible platform. I built a variety of extensions of it and a bunch of websites. You can easily get whatever you need just by adding third-party extensions. Besides that, there are a bunch features out of the box.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Commerce (formerly Magento Commerce)?**

It can be heavy and complicated at first view. Also, it can be complicated to find developers, but it worth it.

**Recommendations to others considering Adobe Commerce (formerly Magento Commerce):**

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Luxury Goods & Jewelry | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 09, 2018

**What do you like best about Adobe Commerce (formerly Magento Commerce)?**

Once you get the hang of it, Magento is pretty easy to use.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Commerce (formerly Magento Commerce)?**

It is very difficult to figure out how to do basic things. It is also difficult to batch upload products. The CSV upload form is very lengthy and takes a long period of time, and still does not upload into the system correctly. The specifications for images and product information are very specific. Magento itself is very basic and you have to individually purchase and set up plug ins in order to have standard services on e-commerce sites such as customer reviews. It is also very difficult to create basic promo codes that are standard for other e-commerce websites, such as buy one get one free.

**Recommendations to others considering Adobe Commerce (formerly Magento Commerce):**

You will need a strong developer to help you get started and to help install all of the plugins that you will need.

**What problems is Adobe Commerce (formerly Magento Commerce) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With magento we were able to understand a lot about our customers once we had it set up correctly. It greatly helped our customer service end since it was very easy to access a lot of customer information.

**What do you like best about Adobe Commerce (formerly Magento Commerce)?**

It's what the pros use. It seems very professional once you get going and have a lot of products in your shop. Everything seems very professional and well built and is built for bigger/larger companies to use. The biggest pro about Magento is the features it has to offer. Magento has many features such as variable products, quantity, shipping, and more. That sets it apart from other E-commerce solutions.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Commerce (formerly Magento Commerce)?**

I know Magento is used by the "big guys" in the eCommerce industry but it's just so hard to set up and get going. It seems lie everything is broken when trying to save settings which results in me having to re-upload and reconfigure the database. Another downside is that Stripe is not built into Magento. Purchasing a 3rd party plugin for Stripe is very costly and should be built into Magento.

**What problems is Adobe Commerce (formerly Magento Commerce) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am using Magento to sell shirts and tank tops online (clothing) but I realized that there are other solutions out there that are much easier to use. Besides the negative things about Magento, I've realized that scaling with Magento is going to be easy. With other solutions, there will need to be a lot of modifications in the core of the solution but with Magento, it will be seamless.

**What do you like best about Adobe Commerce (formerly Magento Commerce)?**

Great interface for managing inventory, product listings, etc. Fairly easy to navigate and make changes.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Commerce (formerly Magento Commerce)?**

However there are sometimes issue with bridging across our CRM Software and ecommerce websites. orders can get stuck.

**What problems is Adobe Commerce (formerly Magento Commerce) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

managing our ecommerce inventory and helps with data entry

  ### 33. Delivers as promised

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Retail | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 27, 2018

**What do you like best about Adobe Commerce (formerly Magento Commerce)?**

Promotions engine is the best we've seen.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Commerce (formerly Magento Commerce)?**

Performance is always an issue. Doesn't scale as well as Magento claims.

**Recommendations to others considering Adobe Commerce (formerly Magento Commerce):**

Considering the recent purchase of Magento by Adobe and Adobe's lack of success in previous acquisitions we are watching Magento with caution.

**What problems is Adobe Commerce (formerly Magento Commerce) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The promotions features and catalog are better than most. Helps us manage an array of special offers

  ### 34. Great Ecommerce product

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Sporting Goods | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 30, 2017

**What do you like best about Adobe Commerce (formerly Magento Commerce)?**

The fact that it runs the LAMP framework!
Easy to configure and hook up with external APIs like Payment Bridge, PayPal, Avalara Tax service etc.
The back-end system provides a lot out of the box. You can set up simple SKUs and configurable skus easily.
Magento rolls out security patches very often to address vulnerabilities and this ensures the platform is secure and PCI compliant.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Commerce (formerly Magento Commerce)?**

The SUPEE security patches are not always fully tested and tend to cause downtimes when they are installed. We have had to write hotfixes to address some of these SUPEE patch downtimes in the past.

**Recommendations to others considering Adobe Commerce (formerly Magento Commerce):**

Best to work with an external development company that specializes in the front-end development and configuration especially if you do not have seasoned experts on the LAMP framework or Magento.

**What problems is Adobe Commerce (formerly Magento Commerce) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Primarily ECommerce - B2C and B2B Platform.

  ### 35. Too Complex, Poor Ecosystem

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Santiago V. | Cofounder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 31, 2017

**What do you like best about Adobe Commerce (formerly Magento Commerce)?**

The capabilities for inventory management and shopping cart/catalog rules (promotions and discounts).
Order management seems good but we haven't used it too much (we proccess them throught another system). SEO seems pretty fine. It's a powerful system but maybe you don't need that much.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Commerce (formerly Magento Commerce)?**

The complexity of the system. The ecosystem is poor: few plugins and extremely complex to make them work. Too expensive also if you want to find reliable alternatives.
Making changes is complex, Magento has 20,000 files and it's over Zend (PHP Framework). That makes changes too hard.
There are some templates but definitely it's not that there are too many options as in Woocommerce.
The system is pretty heavy so be ready to spend on resources for your server.
It seems like too much to me.

**Recommendations to others considering Adobe Commerce (formerly Magento Commerce):**

They say that Magento is for larger businesses.
For me, TLDR:
Pros:
- rules and promotions work nice
- cache implemented
- robust enough to scale (many features to manage high volumes. Magento Entreprise is available too for that)
- inventory management has many options for variations, bundles, etc.

Cons:
- Hard to grow. Marketplace is poor, few choices. Woocommerce is way better and quicker.
- Making changes to theme is too complex. Over 20,000 files in total. Forget about anything, Zend is painful.
- Too heavy, high server resources.
- User management (for customers) and checkout process sucks.

In the end, I wouldn't choose it again. I'll go with Woocommerce, powerful ecosystem, lightweight and easy to customize (in fact, we are migrating).

**What problems is Adobe Commerce (formerly Magento Commerce) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are using it as an eCommerce for our company. We connected our API to Magento (not easy and we still have problems).
We needed to connect some third party plugins, very hard and prepare to suffer Magento pain. Random errors when installing plugins.
Making theme changes is long and complex. Definitely could have been easier.

  ### 36. Can't Compare

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Retail | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 27, 2018

**What do you like best about Adobe Commerce (formerly Magento Commerce)?**

The user interface is clean and sensible, and was easy to learn.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Commerce (formerly Magento Commerce)?**

There are a lot of bugs in version 2.1, we've had to pay a lot of money to have an outside company fix and customize it for us.

**What problems is Adobe Commerce (formerly Magento Commerce) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I wouldn't say it's solving business problems. It serves as a software service that allows our business to run an e-commerce store.

  ### 37. Uploading products on different market places

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 28, 2018

**What do you like best about Adobe Commerce (formerly Magento Commerce)?**

I like the simple interface it has. All the categories like product description and pictures are categorized separately

**What do you dislike about Adobe Commerce (formerly Magento Commerce)?**

It crashes sometimes in the middle of something. Yoy loose all the listing and have to do it again

**Recommendations to others considering Adobe Commerce (formerly Magento Commerce):**

Easy to use. Might consider using kyozou instead of magento sometimes.

**What problems is Adobe Commerce (formerly Magento Commerce) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Listing products on market places

  ### 38. Powerful, low acquisition cost but high technical proficiency required

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Fernand J. | President, Information Technology and Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 17, 2017

**What do you like best about Adobe Commerce (formerly Magento Commerce)?**

Very powerful and expandable solution. There are numerous 3rd party add-ons to extend the already full feature set of the base software.

Lots of community and professional support options available.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Commerce (formerly Magento Commerce)?**

Installation, configuration, maintenance and on-going security updates are non-trivial and require a fair bit of proficiency and maintenance.

Updating the software (security updates) could be much more automated to reduce administration.

**Recommendations to others considering Adobe Commerce (formerly Magento Commerce):**

Make sure you do your testing before implementation. I'd seriously look at one of the professional Magento hosts rather than either self-hosting or hosting on a general webhosting company. The specialist Magento hosts will assist in maintaining site security and reliability

**What problems is Adobe Commerce (formerly Magento Commerce) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Running multiple online stores with multiple currencies.

  ### 39. Great for big companies with an extensive product catalog

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Arturo R. | Account Manager - SEM/SEO Practice Lead, Marketing and Advertising, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 12, 2017

**What do you like best about Adobe Commerce (formerly Magento Commerce)?**

The platform allows for inventory management and helps users manage customers, perform sales and seize cross-selling opportunities.
Add shipping costs and many details of your clients process.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Commerce (formerly Magento Commerce)?**

It's a complex tool. It takes a bit of training or a tech-savvy person to take advantage of Magento's full potential right off the bat. The best approach for a newbie is to go little by little and asking questions. The platform offers great support as well.

**Recommendations to others considering Adobe Commerce (formerly Magento Commerce):**

This is a very powerful tool. If you have customized products or a broad portfolio of products, this is the tool for your company. It is very complex, yet it allows you to take it step by step.

**What problems is Adobe Commerce (formerly Magento Commerce) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Online and phone sales.

  ### 40. Review

**Reviewed Date:** July 30, 2018

**What do you like best about Adobe Commerce (formerly Magento Commerce)?**

What I like best about Magento entreprises is the fact that I can optimize checkout very easily.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Commerce (formerly Magento Commerce)?**

There is nothing that I dislike about Magento Entreprises and the services they provide.

**What problems is Adobe Commerce (formerly Magento Commerce) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

mostly optimizing problems are being solved with Magento Commerce

  ### 41. Great Tool For Small Businesses

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Internet | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 03, 2017

**What do you like best about Adobe Commerce (formerly Magento Commerce)?**

The terrific functionality and ability to handle small to enterprise level stores make it an easy choice for most. The way that Magento CE handles and processes order is remarkable. The backend for the consumer is also very easy to use and I love the recurring subscription functionality. The API features cannot be beaten either.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Commerce (formerly Magento Commerce)?**

It is not exactly the easiest software to use if you are not computer literate. I don't like how you cannot upgrade from 1.9 to 2.x. For a few of my clients who want to take advantage of this new functionality, I find myself having to remake these websites from scratch. I would also like to see an ease-of-use similar to Shopify and WooCommerce. I would also like to see an easier builder. Other small web design companies like ours who operate with smaller budgets would appreciate this.

**Recommendations to others considering Adobe Commerce (formerly Magento Commerce):**

If you are going to use Magento CE - make sure that you are using the newest version. Make sure if you buy a theme that it is compatible with the newest version of Magneto. Magento 1.9 is very difficult to use but the new version is much easier.

**What problems is Adobe Commerce (formerly Magento Commerce) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Magento CE has helped us (as designers and developers) design a good looking and flexible website for our clients. For my clients, Magento CE also helps establish a view of their margins and better establishes an ROI for the site design, maintenance, and marketing.

  ### 42. Extremely flexible and extensible ecommerce application

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** John W. | Freelance PHP Developer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 13, 2017

**What do you like best about Adobe Commerce (formerly Magento Commerce)?**

Magento is quick to set up, features a wide range of 3rd party add-ons that allow businesses to customize. And it's straightforward to develop custom extensions as needed.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Commerce (formerly Magento Commerce)?**

There are issues with performance with higher traffic and order counts, which requires more hardware to handle it. Database performance begins to suffer after a year or two of use if you are not very diligent in cleaning unnecessary data out.

**Recommendations to others considering Adobe Commerce (formerly Magento Commerce):**

Make sure to keep on top of any security patches to keep the site secure and running well.

**What problems is Adobe Commerce (formerly Magento Commerce) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Low cost and easy setup allow for quick deployments for small businesses. And extending it as needed to meet business needs is low effort and cost

  ### 43. Great Playform for Large Scale Businesses

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brian H. | eCommerce Manager, Hospitality, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 17, 2018

**What do you like best about Adobe Commerce (formerly Magento Commerce)?**

I like the ability to integrate multiple extensions into the system in order to customize the store to exactly what we need.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Commerce (formerly Magento Commerce)?**

Making basic updates to the look and feel of the content can be frustrating.

**What problems is Adobe Commerce (formerly Magento Commerce) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We're utilizing Magento to act as a "base" for our Omni-Channel setup. It will help us streamline sales across multiple channels.

  ### 44. Highly recommend

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consumer Goods | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**What do you dislike about Adobe Commerce (formerly Magento Commerce)?**

I really have no dislikes. It is perfect for what we used it for.

**Recommendations to others considering Adobe Commerce (formerly Magento Commerce):**

Highly recommend

**What problems is Adobe Commerce (formerly Magento Commerce) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Data is easy to provide and reporting is easy to create. Cloud based so it is convenient as well.

  ### 45. Great solution for branding

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Program Development | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 04, 2018

**What do you like best about Adobe Commerce (formerly Magento Commerce)?**

Good security can be customized almost all, support is also great

**What do you dislike about Adobe Commerce (formerly Magento Commerce)?**

Difficult to customize if there are no developers. The cost of the Magento site is quite high (20000$ to custom, 1000$ for extension - Mageplaza, 229$ - https://magerewardpoints.com/, 129$ - https://magegiftcard.com/). Runs quite heavy, load time is also slow.

**What problems is Adobe Commerce (formerly Magento Commerce) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Web Customization
Multi-Website Options
Currency and Language Support
Custom Integrations

  ### 46. Mostly easy to use

Able to make changes easily to our site and quickly update our products with images.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Commerce (formerly Magento Commerce)?**

Time difference when we need support has been a bit of a challenge

**Recommendations to others considering Adobe Commerce (formerly Magento Commerce):**

Buy a support package

**What problems is Adobe Commerce (formerly Magento Commerce) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Huge growth on our retail e commerce side of the business

  ### 47. Powerful but expensive compared to other solutions

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Your Design Guy D. | Conversion Optimization Specialist, Internet, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 04, 2018

**What do you like best about Adobe Commerce (formerly Magento Commerce)?**

I love how powerful the platform is, there are a lot of features and its rock solid.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Commerce (formerly Magento Commerce)?**

I don't like the expense and the difficulty of setting up and using the software.

**Recommendations to others considering Adobe Commerce (formerly Magento Commerce):**

If you need something more robust than Woo Commerce then its a much better solution than Big Commerce or Shopify. In my experience I prefer Woo for the vast majority of e commerce situations.

**What problems is Adobe Commerce (formerly Magento Commerce) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use it when a client insists on the solution. I don't have major issues with it other than the difficulty to deploy compared to other platforms.

  ### 48. Ross’s recies

Keeps crashing Whilst being used with lots of customers

**What problems is Adobe Commerce (formerly Magento Commerce) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It solves lots for us, uptime is good

  ### 49. It works but its really slow

**Reviewed Date:** July 28, 2018

**What do you like best about Adobe Commerce (formerly Magento Commerce)?**

It works really good, i wish there was a way to make pages reload faster.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Commerce (formerly Magento Commerce)?**

Pages load really slow, whether it's chrome, firefox, etc

**What problems is Adobe Commerce (formerly Magento Commerce) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Processing orders and exchanges

  ### 50. Versatile, powerful, yet easy to use!

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 04, 2018

**What do you like best about Adobe Commerce (formerly Magento Commerce)?**

I love the ease of integrating our our ERP with the platform. Combined with the user friendly GUI, Magento is a powerful eComm platform. I also like the extensions that easily bolt on.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Commerce (formerly Magento Commerce)?**

While I really like how there are so many add-ins, the costs can add up really quickly.

**What problems is Adobe Commerce (formerly Magento Commerce) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I moved a site from a different platform because of the number of SKUs my client had. We were able to easily add the data and eliminated the max SKU count issue all together.
