It's integration with everything in Salesforce. So easy to customize to our business needs. It's user friendly and functions like the rest of Salesforce making it easy to get people up to speed on using the program. Also having the capabilities to have dual ledgers for our main company and sister company in the same place. For those times when you enter an invoice in the wrong company instead of having to go in a delete and reenter you can simply change the ledger and poof your done. For instance we used to run a report on each GL Account and that report would have the opening balance for the period. Our Accountant preferred this to having to look up the closing balance of the previous period. We used to have to create our invoices in the accounting system and then enter them in Salesforce to track which projects were billed. Now it is all done automatically. Same goes for Payables against POs. This has made our reconciliation process so much more accurate and easy.I can't stress enough how this makes our business so much more efficient. Objects (Billings, payables etc) can be handled in a very intuitive way, easy navigation, good documentation, great reporting, easy customization of financial reports (P&L, etc) Easy to adapt for the French market & accounting rules. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Accounting Seed? Project and GLAVs cannot be added / modified after operations are posted, and this is a major limitation. The application of cash disbursements is non reversible (unlike apply of cash receipts). Limitations on kits are too restrictive (max 5 children + only 1 level supported). No A to Z serial-number-based traceability in inventory. It's connectivity to Sales Force, ease to delete transactions, custom financial statements, ability to set up any receivable or payable as recurring for ease of monthly close. Inability to pay via ACH through the system - you must contract with an outside party and add on that functionality. 2. You can't change the print options for financial statements, it must be landscape. You must export data to Excel, which loses all formatting, and do a bunch of work to get it to look right. 3. Standard reports are what they are, and you can't start with one and make changes to get a custom report. Custom reports are started "from scratch". For instance, we were floored to find we had to purchase an add-on with an outside vendor in order to pay vendors via ACH (you can only pay through checks with basic system).
